- Arguably more than that, Mordis' death. The poor guy got locked into a cell for half of his life for his uncontrollable energy blasting powers - which turn out to be easily kept in check by a mask, going on his present-day status - and was manipulated quite cruely by Karnak this episode. He then decides he would rather die than to go back into his cell.
