  • Then, there was the ending scene with James and Peter on the bench.
• James Barrie sees his wife backstage at the premiere of his new play, after they've separated. Both greet each other quietly. She asks him how he is. He simply says, "I'm sorry." She says, "Don't be," kisses him on the cheek, and says goodbye.
