Tear Jerker / Coreline: A Tale Of Two Maris

• In her attempts to ruin Captain Makinami's reputation, Taskmaster Mari committed multiple heinous murders in the process of killing known super villains. First she had a security guard mauled to death, and then she sacrificed eleven innocent civilians to die by exposure to Joker Toxin. As a result of these horrifying events, local authorities have become so desperate that they are willing to arrest Captain Makinami, just to put an end to it. And while they at least hope that she wouldn't do something like this, a lot of people realize that such an event would ruin her and her new team of Avengers before they can even really get started. They are all just that desperate for this nightmare to end.
