Tear Jerker / Ariana Grande

• During a performance of "Honeymoon Avenue" at one of her concerts, Ariana started to break down and weep mid-performance. Why so? Because that very night, her and her boyfriend Jai (pronouced "Jay") broke up. You can view it here.
• The nod to the late Mac Miller in thank u, next. Especially since certain people blamed Ariana for his fatal overdose, despite Ari making it clear the two still cared for each other, and she misses him very much.
  Wish I could say "thank you" to Malcolm, 'cause he was an angel...
  • During the stop in Pittsburgh (Miller's hometown) on her Sweetener World Tour, not only did she reserve a seat in remembrance of him, but during 'thank u, next' she became so overwhelmed by tears that she was unable to get through the first half of the song and at one point became too choked up to even say his name.
  • “ghostin”, full stop. Not only is Pete there for her while she’s grieving, so is Mac.
• "breathin'" is this for anyone who constantly has anxiety and panic attacks.
• "One Last Time" was already this on release, it got worse as it became the unofficial tribute song for the victims of the Manchester Concert Bombing.
• "Fake Smile". From just the first line alone, it's clear trying to smile when there's nothing worth smiling about hurts.
  After laughter comes tears
• It's hard not to feel anything when Ariana's voice breaks during the second time she sings the chorus in "i wish i hated you". You can even hear her sobbing a little bit before delivering the next lyrics.
