As it was already mentioned on the main page, those games are chock full of references.

Treasure of Pirates

UFO

  • Game includes several references to "Star Wars": Henperor/Kurator, Jajo Śmierdzi (which looks similar to the Death Star, called Gwiazda Śmierci in Polish), lightsabers, the moon of Indor, a character called Żabba...
  • The creator of La Resistance is called Che Kopara. He shares a strong physical resemblance to Guevara.
  • The two rival clans from Indor are called Chapchulets and Montaques. The lovers' names are Julitta and Roman.
  • One of the planets from the second game is named Kurrakis, which much like planet Arrakis from Dune, is desertic, with a reddish colour scheme. Also, the first challenge on the planet is to go through a maze full of giant sandworms.
    • Said planet is ruled by a morbidly obese gangster named Baron Żabba Harkokokonnen, serving as a double reference to both Baron Vladimir Harkonnen and Jabba the Hutt.
    • The planet is populated by an ethnic group known as Ferments and known for deposits of certain rare and valuable plant - a species of oregano (which is a spice) which can temporarily shrink anything sprinkled with it.

Wizards

  • Near the beginning of the game Reksio has to follow a white rabbit.
    • The end of the game brings more references to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with characters based on the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Dormouse, the Cheshire Cat, and the Caterpillar, as well as the mushroom that makes Reksio grow huge.
  • Burektor Mateusz asks Reksio to choose between a red bone and a blue bone.
  • The wizards in the game include Serpentus Snake, Gulguldrick Gryffindyk, Waldi Mors, Ramdalf the White, and Chrumburak.
  • The flying broom Reksio uses is Bamboo 2000.
    • Unused dialogue example: one of the things Moles shouts to open the door behind which is Dzin's lamp is Aloha remora.
    • The main antagonist of the game is called "Ten Który Tak Potwornie Mąci" (which translates as "the one who is so terribly confusing"), a play on Voldemort's Polish title (Tym-Którego-Imienia-Nie-Wolno-Wymawiać).
  • Al Chomik asks Reksio if he'd like to buy a Norwegian Blue parrot.
  • The province of Bobror brings many references to The Lord of the Rings. The members of the fellowship are expies of Boromir, Bilbo Baggins, Gimli, and Legolas, while the wizard who guards the province is based on Gandalf. In addition to that, the characters make several ring-related puns.
    • One of the wizards note  thinks the one behind everything is the group holding the power of the ring note . Somebody else responds:
Just a moment ago you said that The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
  • Spielmauster, a mouse wizard, wears a similar outfit as Sorcerer Mickey Mouse.
  • The three manequins Reksio learns spells on are a scarecrow, a lion, and a tinman.

Time Machine

Captain Nemo

  • In the Romanian dub, Reksio says "I'm the king of the world!" In the intro.
  • The postman in Paris has an accent that brings Officer Crabtree to mind.
  • During the game we meet Schlafrock Holmes and doctor Młotson. The second one ask us to help him in his investigation on Orient Express
  • The cruise to Cairo features two scenes that mimic the Polish movie Rejs (The Cruise); namely, the characters introducing themselves, along with the names they use, and Moles' rant about animation.
    • Also during said cruise, as a reward for fixing the ship, Reksio and Moles receive a toy bear which looks and is described like the one in Teddy Bear.
  • In the Egipt our heroes decide to get help from a famous pair of adventurer archaeologists - an old scholar named doctor Jones and his son - Tom Jones.
    • An optional dialogue has doctor Jones mention an ancient trap that his son once stumbled upon - a huge boulder rolling out of the hole in the ceiling.
    • Another optional dialogue has Tom reveal he plans to change his name to something more unusual and easily recognisable. Reksio and Moles then proceed to suggest several such names, all of whom just happen to be the names of american states.
      • Reksio even barks something that sounds like "Indiana", to which Tom replies that it "sounds cool".
    • Later also heroes have to face with Cultists of coli bacteria
  • The mummions might have been based on the Moomins; at least the toy version looks pretty similiar to them.
  • One of the thing Moles says while setting up bombs in the mazes is "Fire, walk with me".
  • There's a traveller called Willie Frogg. And yes, he wants to travel around the world in 80 days. This even gets lampshaded by Moles, who claims to have read the book.
  • The dicoverer of the Masayayan village is called doctor Rollingstone and has a verbal tic of adding "I presume" at the end of every sentence.
    • When he is saved if we ask him what he feels, he response „satisfaction I presume”.
  • Masayayan village brings two references to The Lion King:
  • A hippies in Shan Grila are based on John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Slash and Janis Joplin.
  • At one point Reksio has to stop Chuck Nornik from blowing up the Mollymuu mountain (with a roundabout kick, obviously). Considering that he wants to make place for a new railroad, this might double as an allusion to William Norris.
    • Also, the Mollymuu mountain is a parody of Hollywood, complete with huge letters spelling its name set on its side. One of the creators mentioned that they orginally planned to add a bonus scene where the letters get damaged and spell "Hollywood" instead.
  • Apparently the Oracle told Kari Mata Hari that she will fall in love with the Chosen One.

Back in Action

  • The UFO part brings even more references to Star Wars: Reksio gets cast as Hau Solo, Moles gets cast as Obi Wan Kretobi, and Princess Molly looks like Princess Leia.
  • When discussing a Conlang Shambolan language, Kari Mata Hari says that while she was with Cultists of Coli Bacteria they were saying something about going medieval on something, but she didn’t knew what.
