• Kandori is nicknamed "The Rock" in the US version's manual.
• The US version has three characters named: Alfred, Bruce and Selina. Alfred is the trusted butler of a lonely rich guy, while Bruce and Selina are in a romantic relationship. Plus one of the bosses quotes the Joker from the 1989 movie:
  Salavino: Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?
• In the Snow Queen Quest, upon facing off against the guardian of Hypnos Tower, Brown says he'll fight them "For truth, justice, and the St. Hermelin way!"
