Shout Out / Coverfire

• The Gentleman is a nod to David Hasselhoff. The Gentleman goes into combat wearing red swimming trunks and sandals a la Mitch Buchannon. While the Gentleman is otherwise bare-chested, he is wearing an open black leather jacket a la Michael Knight. The Gentleman's portrait is also as close to that of Hasselhoff as legally possible.
• The gynoid Eve, has her name uniquely written using the same font for EVE Online. Nothing else shares the same type of font.
• Red is clearly a nod to Elektra Natchios with differences only being Red wearing a ninja veil, has an eyepatch and her costume is altered to bare her midriff. Otherwise everything else is the same including the crosshatched thigh-high boot on one leg. Whether she's a sai-wielding ninja is unknowable as the game is purely a rail shooter with modern or futuristic weapons other than the ballesta.
• Liu Wong's in-game face is clearly modelled after Lucy Liu
• Other Expy characters include the uplifted gorilla Digit who's clearly a shoutout to Winston, Roboto who's modelled after Chappie, Brazzet is based on B.A Baracus and ballesta-carrying undead slayer Marianne is wearing a similar outfit as Anna Valerious.
• One of the Assault characters is named Forever Alone and he's actually the character shown in that meme.
• The AKraft-47 weapon is a nod to Minecraft and is a pixelated version of the AK-47
• One boss fought is the Psycho Soldier - a psychic warrior in a bodysuit who can telekinetically lift up oil barrels to toss at you and protects himself by sending up junk to block your attacks. He's a clear nod to Psycho Mantis.
