Waktu Indonesia Bercandanote  is an Indonesian comedy show aired on NET from 2016 until 2019, primarily starring comedian Cak Lontong. It was originally conceived as a parody of motivational TV show with Cak Lontong as the "motivator", before changing format and becoming more known as a parody of quiz show with him as the question giver. Both the motivational speeches and quiz answers are absurd and relied on Ambiguous Syntax, Insane Troll Logic and Puns, based on Cak Lontong's iconic comedy style. Fitri Tropica and Nabila Putri take turns as the host of the show while Akbar and Peppy are mainstay participants.

Waktu Indonesia Bercanda contains examples of the following:

  • The Artifact: Long after the game show aspect become the main part of the show, episodes still start and ends with a motivational speech about a specific theme from Cak Lontong, a carry-over from the original premise.
  • Batman Gambit: One of the crossword clues is something along the lines "Makes people angry." The answer is completely unrelated to anger and relies on making the players angry with its nonsensical nature like how they typically react to Cak Lontong's answers. Peppy catches on and calms the others down before they get angry in order to disprove Cak Lontong's argument, although this "angers" Cak Lontong.
  • Confetti Drop: Due to the difficulty of getting even a single answer right, any time a team do it, they get to be showered in the middle of the stage while celebratory music plays.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: For a show (in)famous for being a game show, it might surprise some people who watch earlier episodes and find out they have no quiz or game segment at all.
  • Enemy Mine: In earlier games, both teams usually decide that they hate Cak Lontong and his answers more and work togehter to beat the game instead of each other. This is dropped later on where the they play up the competitiveness.
  • Interface Spoiler: All questions spoken by Cak Lontong are also displayed as text for the audience at home (but not to the participatns). Unfortunately, the audience won't share the participants' surprise if the questions relies on homophones or puns, since the text shows the intended words. Sometimes, the show tries to avoid this by not displaying the text until the answer is revealed, but it still spoils that puns are in play.
  • Promoted to Opening Credits: Bedu started out as one of the recurring participants, but he appears so often that he is considered part of the main cast and is eventually given a spot in the intro alongside Cak Lontong, Akbar and Peppy.
  • Unsportsmanlike Gloating: It's the norm for anyone who gets an answer right to mock their opponent. These usually take forms in jokes about the number 0 (if that's the opponent's score) or their "neighbours" being poor.
