A French short comedy series depicting the daily lives of several couples at different stages of their lives, freely adapted from the Spanish series Escenas de Matrimonio. The series has been running on the M6 channel since the end of Kaamelott in 2009.

The couples are:

  • Raymond and Huguette, a pair of senior citizens re-learning to live together now that they are retired (left after season 14),
  • José and Liliane, two new empty-nesters in their fifties,
  • Cédric and Marion, active thirty-year-olds trying to shift into an adult relationship (left after season 9),
  • Fabien and Emma, city mice who moved to the countryside after the birth of their little girl (arrived in season 3),
  • Philippe and Camille, a May–December Romance pair who form a reconstructed family (arrived in season 7),
  • Léo and Leslie, recent college graduates who just moved in together (arrived in season 10),
  • Jalil and Louise, also active thirty-year-olds trying to build an adult life and careers (arrived in season 13),
  • and Gilbert and Christine, who started dating and moved in together in their sixties (arrived in season 14).

Not to be confused with the 1954 comedy film Scènes de ménage.

Scènes de ménages provides example of:

  • '50s Hair: Liliane often dresses in a style reminiscent of '50s housewives. Emma too, but more in a hipster way.
  • Action Girl: Camille is very sporty, a yoga teacher, and the captain of a local soccer team.
  • Actually Pretty Funny: Played with. Leslie occasionally laughs at Léo's humor, but it's definitely not the reason she's dating him. According to her, dating funny guys has ruined all of her relationships, because she has an incredibly Annoying Laugh.
  • Alcoholic Parent: Leslie's mother is a heavy, heavy drinker. Apparently, it was even worse in her twenties, which is why she doesn't remember a thing about her daughter's father. Played for Laughs.
  • All Girls Like Ponies: Played straight with Chloé, who loves horsies. Averted by Emma who, even when she gets past her idea that horseriding is a bourgeois hobby even in the country, grows very quickly tired of her daughter's obsession.
  • Alpha Bitch: Marion loves being the little chief of her friend group, and later her company.
  • Ambiguously Bi: Léo is (according to Leslie) obsessed with the male physique, and not above flirting with male friends to annoy his girlfriend. He also has a "LGBT" sticker on his laptop.
  • Amicable Exes: Fabien's ex starts working in the same school as he does. Emma isn't happy about it at all.
  • And Starring:
    • Doesn't come with the actual words, but Gérard Hernandez, who plays Raymond, is always the last to be introduced in the opening, and is the one with the most extensive career of the cast.
    • The specials always have a lot of famous guests.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: All couples have their moment, but especially Raymond and Huguette, who spend most of their screentime being awful at each other. They even have an episode with no other joke than Raymond repeating to his wife to be careful when crossing the street every day, and planning to continue, just because he loves her.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Léo and Leslie are only in their early-to-mid-twenties, by far the youngest couple of the show.
  • Back to School:
    • Marion returns to college in her early 30s to study psychology in season 3.
    • Leslie enrolls in nursing school at 25 in season 13.
  • Beach Episode:
    • The 9th special, Enfin en vacances à la mernote . Cédric and Marion go to a resort in Morroco, Liliane and José are invited by friends at their seaside villa, Huguette and Raymond take their RV to their usual seaside campsite in Brittany, Emma and Fabien visit Fabien's family beach house, and Philippe and Camille take their first trip as a couple to Bali.
    • To an extent, the 13th special, Cap sur la Rivieranote , which is set on the Côte d'Azur with some of the couples being around the sea, notably with Cédric and Marion trying to sneak onto his ex-boss's yacht in Cannes to get him his job back, and Emma and Fabien assisting her family with their beach snack bar.
  • Behind Every Great Man: Liliane pushes her husband to run for mayor of their town. He is elected, and holds her for his greatest support. She is also the patroness of local artists, one of which even manages to snatch an exhibition in Paris thanks to her.
  • My Beloved Smother: Leslie tells Léo that he makes her think of a Greek hero. Oedipus, to be exact.
  • Berserk Button:
    • You can insult Philippe's house, job, language tics, appearance, but don't you dare disrespect Tom Cruise in front of him.
    • In the 14th special, Fabien takes down several armed militia soldiers when one of them says that "educación es mierda".
  • Bittersweet Ending: For Philippe and Camille in season 12. The boat traffic charges against Philippe are dropped, but the actual culprit, Camille's brother, goes to jail, and they have to postpone their adoption projects again to take his son in.
  • Big Fancy House: Philippe lives in a gorgeous duplex with an ocean view, and is very proud of it.
  • Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: The three original leading ladies, with Marion as the blonde, Huguette as the redhead and Liliane as the brunette. Later, Emma joins the crew as a hot-headed redhead, Louise as a brainy brunette, and Christine as an attractive blonde. The associated tropes are ignored with blonde Camille and brunette Leslie.
  • Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick: When Louise gets frustrated because she can't whip her egg whites properly.
Jalil: I know how you feel. Yesterday I gave a guy a heart massage for half an hour, he still died.
  • Brilliant, but Lazy:
    • How Philippe sees his son Ulysse.
    • Marion is The Ditz, but she becomes very successful very quickly after creating her company in season 7.
  • The Bro Code: In full action between Léo and his gym bros.
  • Calling the Old Man Out: Léo is furious when his father ends up in prison when he spent all his life teaching his sons to be upstanding citizens, dumping all of his responsibilities on them.
  • Career Versus Man: Averted. Jalil is 100% supportive of Louise's ambition of opening a restaurant and left his apartment, his job and his friends to help her take over his father's old place.
  • Casting Gag: During Cédric and Marion's wedding, another bride comes to pick a fight with Marion. That bride is played by Alexandra Lamy who, on top of being Audrey Lamy (Marion)'s sister, also played the lead in another M6-produced romantic shortcom series a few years prior, Un gars, une fille.
  • Celeb Crush:
    • Huguette is crazy about Michael François, a Frédéric François Captain Ersatz, and the president of his fan club.
    • Not exactly a crush, but Philippe is obsessed with Tom Cruise.
  • Christmas Episode: Some regular episodes and the 16th special. Raymond and Huguette break out a friend from his retirement home for Christmas; José and Liliane host their son with his girlfriend and daughter; Fabien and Emma man a stand at a Christmas market; Philippe and Camille have a Circus Episode for charity; and Leslie and Léo spend Christmas with her whacky mom.
  • Circus Episode: During the 16th special, Camille and her fairground-running family set up a Christmas circus for charity, in which she is ringleader and Philippe an animal handler.
  • Comically Missing the Point:
    • Leslie and Léo are both excited for her to go back to college; she because she will get to study something interesting, take back control of her own life and make a difference; he because she'll be getting all the student discounts.
    • Leslie's mom is at one point furious that her new boyfriend Alain lied to her: he claimed that he worked in politics, but she googled him and he's only a secretary. Léo is the one who has to clarify that he is Secretary of State.
  • Control Freak: Liliane is very prissy and likes everything neat. She eventually learns to loosen up, but it takes her a while to figure out a middle ground.
  • Cool Aunt: Camille takes in her nephew Dylan in season 13, and does not mind allowing him a lot of leeway, since standards are pretty low in her family.
  • Cool Teacher: Fabien tries to be this to his middle-school students, but is not always successful.
  • Deadpan Snarker: All characters have their moments, but Raymond and Huguette easily take the cake. They have had decades to perfect their jibes, after all.
  • Dead Sparks: At the beginning of the series, José and Liliane have been married 20 years, and while they're fond of each other, the fire is gone. They try everything to rekindle the flame, but eventually accept that their marriage is a fairly happy one even if the passion of their youth has faded away.
  • December–December Romance:
    • Raymond and Huguette have been married fifty years at the start of the series.
    • Between Jalil's father Messaoud and his friend Marguerite.
    • Gilbert and Christine just got together in their sixties.
  • Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life:
    • Marion, at first. The dynamic changes when she starts her own business but Cédric gets laid off.
    • Played With: Léo and Leslie both studied graphic design, but they are too busy trying to make ends meet with odd jobs to worry about their calling.
  • Disappeared Dad: Leslie never knew her father, and has been trying to find him since season 11.
  • Discriminate and Switch: In one episode, Léo is upset that Leslie would go to a party wearing a very revealing dress... because he finds her too attractive to focus on his friend's birthday. They solve the problem by having sex before they go.
  • The Ditz: Marion and Leslie.
  • Divorce Assets Conflict: Philippe and his ex-wife Isabelle still share ownership of a chalet in the mountains. After a mix-up in dates, Philippe and Camille have to spend a vacation with Isabelle and her new boyfriend during the 11th special.
  • Doting Grandparent: Liliane and José love their granddaughter and are delighted to see her more when their son returns to France.
  • Doting Parent:
    • Fabien is head over heels about his daughter, while Emma is more willing to be the mean parent when she has to.
    • Liliane is devastated about being an empty-nester and misses her children terribly.
  • Double-Meaning Title: In French, a "scène de ménage" is an expression designating a fight — or shouting match — between a couple. The opening credits play on this by showing all the characters throwing various household items at each other. However in the series proper, although they can happen such fights are quite rare, thus making the title non-idiomatic: it is mostly about ordinary, slice-of-life scenes between couples.
  • The Dreaded:
    • Léo and Leslie's landlord, initially. Now, they've exhausted him so much that he's half in tears every time he has to beg them to pay their rent.
    • Philippe and Camille live in terror of their house cleaner.
  • Dumb Blonde: Ludivine, Fabien's sister.
  • Eloquent in My Native Tongue: Messaoud, Jalil's father, immigrated to France as a youth speaking only Arabic and learned French as he went along — as a result, decades later, he still has a thick accent and often mixes idioms, making sound at time like a Funny Foreigner.
  • The End of the World as We Know It: The 20th special, "Plans sur la Comète" note , has all the couples reacting to a broadcast prank by Raymond claiming that a comet is going to crash on the French territory. José and Liliane prepare the rescue effort in their town, Emma drags Fabien into her doomsday prepping, Philippe and Camille go on a hedonistic extravaganza, Léo and Leslie get stuck at the hospital where she works, Jalil and Louise take in the huge mass of both their families, and Gilbert and Christine try to flee to Switzerland because "nothing ever happens in Switzerland".
  • The Faceless:
    • José and Liliane often mention their children, but it took nine season for one of them, Manu, to finally show up on screen.
    • For years, Fabien and Emma's daughter Chloé was portrayed by a doll in a crib, when she was not just offscreen. Since season 10, she has been portrayed by a child actress.
  • The Fashionista: Marion is crazy about eccentric fashion. Her wedding dress included a full-glitter bodice and a feathery headdress.
  • Fish out of Water: Philippe spends Camille's 30th birthday with her family, who own a fairground.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling:
    • Emma is the responsible sibling to Hervé's much more foolish sibling.
    • Jalil is the responsible sibling, and is furious about his brother Bilal's wackier life choices.
  • For Want Of A Nail: Invoked by Liliane. She wants José to help her choose the new curtains, because the president might drive by their house, and his wife may like the curtains as they drive by, and they might think José is a man of taste, and the man might ask him to work with him. Or maybe it's the préfet who drives by, and he is so shocked by the garish colors that he gets in a car crash, and José, as a local mayor, becomes the next préfet. So what curtains for the kitchen, José?
  • The Gambling Addict: Liliane. She gets into a manic state when she gets a lifelong ban from casinos.
  • Gene Hunting: As of season 11, Leslie is looking for her biological father, which is complicated since her mom can't remember a thing about him.
  • Gentle Touch vs. Firm Hand: Fabien is the gentle touch to Emma's firm hand.
  • Getting Crap Past the Radar:
    • At one point, Leslie compares Léo's body to a castle, and suggestively asks if she can visit his dungeon... and his oubliettes.
    • They're also actively having sex, barely offscreen, during the final countdown of the 20th special.
  • Good Stepmother: Camille is on great terms with both of Philippe's children; after all they're not much younger than her. She helps Philippe stay grounded about Pauline's homosexuality and tries to help Ulysse figure out what he wants in life (when what he wants is not to flirt with her). Pauline even asks her to be her daughter's godmother, for all their shared values.
  • Happily Married: At the end of the day, all the couples love each other (even though they're not all married).
  • Heist Episode: Raymond and Huguette spend the 16th special breaking one of their friends out of his retirement home for Christmas.
  • Heroic BSoD: Cédric does not take well to being laid off.
  • Heritage Disconnect: Léo's father wants him to take over the family estate on Reunion. Léo does not care to go back at all.
  • High-School Sweethearts: Louise and Jalil have known each other since middle school. Subverted in that they only started dating in their mid-twenties.
  • Housewife: Huguette and Liliane.
  • Huge Guy, Tiny Girl: Jalil is significantly taller than Louise. He hangs the new bathroom mirror according to his own height, and when Louise complains that she can't even use it to put on makeup, he picks her up so she can apply it.
  • I Have Brothers: Emma has two older brothers who are as tough as she is.
  • Incredibly Lame Fun: There's not much left to do for fun when you're in your eighties. At one point, Raymond is asked to DJ for an after between 4 and 6 in the afternoon. Complete with Tylenol pills.
  • Informed Location: Marion and Cédric as well as Léo and Leslie specifically live in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. José and Liliane live in the same town as Julien Doré, which is Marseillargues, Hérault. The location of the other couples is not given, though it can be deduced through clues:
    • Raymond and Huguette live in an active city in the department of Vienne, as Raymond worked a few cases there when he was a gendarme, so probably Poitiers.
    • Fabien and Emma may live somewhere in Poitou-Charentes, as their town's mayor's wife has an affair with the deputy mayor of Juignac, Charente.
    • Philippe and Camille live in a seaside town with a country club. Earlier seasons imply that they are on the Mediterranean, notably the 19th special which has them try to sail Philippe's boat all the way to Sardinia, but season 15 heavily hints at them living on the Aquitanian coast, not far from Bordeaux.
    • Jalil and Louise live in a city with important minor crime rates, which is being gentrified, not too far from Lyon (as Bilal once went to buy furniture for them there), and close enough to the mountains that they can make a day trip of hitting the slopes — likely Grenoble.
    • Gilbert and Christine live in outer Île-de-France, specifically 10 km away from Grigny, but far enough from Paris to make a luxury campsite profitable.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Frequent. For example, Louise is furious about the risks Jalil takes as a fireman, because if they had a child, that kid might be orphaned. Therefore, they need to get pregnant on the spot so that Jalil will be more careful for the baby.
  • Interclass Romance: Invoked. Léo grew up rather wealthy, while Leslie grew up in a cité. However, now, they're both broke college grads.
  • Insult of Endearment: Between Camille and her cousins. They are actually offended that Philippe doesn't call them assholes when introducing himself.
  • In-Universe Nickname:
    • Raymond calls his wife "Guéguette".
    • "My José" from Liliane and "Lili" or "my Lili" from José.
    • Fabien and Emma call each other "Chaton", or "Kitty" in English.
    • Camille calls Philippe "Doudou", which one could translate to "Plushie" or "Teddy Bear".
  • Ironic Name: Hipop is short for Hipopotamus. Hipop is a three-pound chihuahua.
  • I Want Grandkids: Jalil's dad Messaoud, and Louise's mom Josseline. Jalil and Louise are not ready.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Jerk: Raymond and Huguette do love each other... but no-one else. They're the type of people to call the police on partying neighbors even though they're out of town the night of the party.
  • Jungle Japes: Fabien and Emma get lost in a South American jungle while on a humanitarian trip in the 14th special.
  • Karma Houdini: Liliane spies on her neighbors, runs a clandestine casino, and uses her husbands's position to get town employees to do her yard work. So far, none of that has come to bite her in the ass.
  • Kissing Cousins:
    • Emma is convinced that everyone's first kiss is with their cousin, and assumes that her daughter hasn't had her first kiss yet because she doesn't have any. Fabien thinks she's insane for this, even though his first kiss was also with his cousin.
    • Philippe lost his virginity with his cousin Catherine.
  • Lame Last Words: Jalil gives Louise a passionate Dying Declaration of Love every time he goes on a dangerous mission, just in case. She loves finding ways to make him say the most common or stupid things before locking him out of the appartment.
  • Law of Inverse Fertility: Camille really wants to have kids with Philippe, but he doesn't want to be a father again. Eventually, they agree on an adoption, but it has been years, and there's always something that delays their parental bliss.
  • Lethal Chef: Leslie. After removing all the ingredients she can't figure out how to work with from a recipe, she ends up serving her boyfriend a bowl of hot water.
  • Like Father, Unlike Son: No one believe Gilbert's youngest is actually his son, because he's an extremely handsome guy.
  • Likes Older Men: Camille, evidently.
  • Like Parent, Like Child: Ulysse turns out to be a ruthless money shark. His father is shocked, but Camille thinks that Philippe was just like this before they got together.
  • Lovable Jock: Léo is a gym mouse, always working out, and very proud of his body.
  • Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy: Emma is a handsy, tough, no-nonsense businesswoman who works at a home improvement store, while Fabien is a much more prissy French (and later History) teacher who does most of the housework.
  • May–December Romance:
    • Philippe is in his mid-forties and Camille in her late twenties when they arrive in the show.
    • Furthermore in the 14th special, when Philippe's 60-something father starts dating a girl called Mélody, who is in her early twenties. It obviously doesn't work as well, and they break up at the end of the special.
  • Miniature Senior Citizens: Huguette wonders if her husband did not lie a little with is height on his driver's license. He says he just shrank with age.
  • Momma's Boy: Léo.
  • Not That There's Anything Wrong with That:
    • Philippe loves his daughter and is proud of her for living her love with Amandine freely, but he doesn't really know how to be natural about it.
    • Liliane is rather shocked that their new neighbors are a polyamorous throuple, but she tries to be cool about it.
    • Fabien can't help but tick at his five-year-old daughter having a girlfriend at her preschool; he's cool with it, but it's something that sticks with him.
  • Not with Them for the Money: Philippe is extremely well off, but Camille, who is a bit of a hippie, could not care less about that. It turns out that her father is actually very wealthy from owning a fairground.
  • Obnoxious In-Laws:
    • José's mother and Liliane hate each other, and Liliane calls her "The Monster". Inversely, José is constantly disrespected by Liliane's aunt Odette.
    • Liliane herself was initially very wary of her daughter-in-law. She eventually warmed up to her after Bao gave birth to her granddaughter, and even calls her daughter by the sixteenth special. Now she's obnoxious in another way, refusing to leave her and the baby alone.
    • Léo doesn't actually hate Stéphanie, Leslie's mother, but she can just be a lot.
    • Averted with Messaoud, who is actually nicer to Louise than to his own son Jalil.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Léo. His full name is Léonard, which Leslie finds hilarious. Also applies to his brother Jimmy, full name Jean-Michel.
  • Papa Wolf: Bao, José and Liliane's daughter-in-law, fully enjoys being on a break with their son. Surprisingly, Liliane is somewhat admirative of her free sexual spirit, even supporting the "they were on a break" argument and it's José who has to coldly remind her that she hurt their boy.
  • Parental Favoritism: Huguette and Raymond have two grandsons. They think Corentin is not the brightest bulb, but love that Anthony is as annoying as they are.
  • Parent with New Paramour:
    • Philippe, as well as his ex-wife Isabelle.
    • Messaoud does not want Jalil to know that he is dating a friend of his, but is happy to ask Louise for romantic advice.
    • If Fabien survived the news of his parents' divorce, this one ended him for sure.
    • Gilbert and Christine both have children from their previous marriages.
  • Precious Puppy :
    • Liliane is obsessed with her chihuahua, Hip-Hop, even preferring her over her husband and granddaughter.
    • Léo and Leslie adopt a stray they call Barny after he follows Leslie home.
    • Kiki, Huguette and Raymond's (but mostly Huguette's) dog.
  • Preppy Name: Played With with Léo and his brother Jimmy. Their full names are respectively Léonard and Jean-Michel. While they both grew up in a rather bourgeois environment, they're also part Creole, and names like these are more common in Creole culture.
  • Pretentious Pronunciation: Played with. Philippe is obsessed with Tom Cruise, but even when everyone around him pronounces it right, he keeps saying "Tom Crû-eez".
  • Prison Episode: Léo and Leslie are arrested for trespassing and grave-robbing in the 18th special (they were just following their dog), and are sentenced to 90 hours of community service.
  • Really Gets Around: Manu, following his final separation with Bao. He goes on Tinder date after Tinder date.
  • Relationship Revolving Door: Between Liliane and José's son Manu and his girlfriend Bao. At one point, not even he can tell whether they're in a relationship or not.
  • Retired Badass: Averted. Raymond used to be a gendarme, a military police officer, but he was not really good at it. When he gets a medal for his years of service, not even he can figure out why.
  • Riches to Rags: Léo's family was very comfortable when he was a child, but since his father went to prison for embezzlement, he has lost all of his money, has to do odd gigs and beg from his equally broke sons.
  • Second Love:
    • Both Gilbert and Christine were married with children before they divorced their respective spouses and got together.
    • Philippe too was married before getting with Camille.
  • Screw the Money, I Have Rules!: Often a topic of debate between Camille, a determined ecologist, and Philippe, who likes being able to afford his comfort. They both get to convince the other every once in a while.
  • Screw Politeness, I'm a Senior!: Raymond and Huguette just love being annoying old schmucks. They are delighted when they visit Paris and see that people there are just as rude as they are said to be.
  • Serenade Your Lover: Liliane is moved to tears by a beautiful song José sings for her on the guitar. She's the one who wrote the text, though.
  • Sexy Sax Man: What Philippe tries to be. Unfortunately, he can't play the sax. At all.
  • Sitcom Archnemesis: José and his work rival Chamard. Not that either of them is really good at this rivalry thing.
  • Ski-Resort Episode: The 11h special. Raymond and Huguette attend a high-altitude thalassotherapy; José and Liliane are invited by a local mogul to his chalet as part of his election campaign; Cédric and Marion plan a winter seminar for businesswomen; Fabien and Emma manage a school ski trip; and Philippe and Camille get stuck in his chalet with his ex-wife.
  • Snowball Lie: Louise tries to get out of going out with Jalil's coworkers' girlfriends by claiming that they broke up. Cue embarrassment when Jalil walks into the appartment.
  • Soapbox Sadie:
    • Slightly downplayed with Camille: she is a hippie and very involved in a lot of causes, but she is rather reasonable about it. She has become less extreme over the seasons.
    • Léo is extremely passionate about gay rights and the fight against homophobia... in part because he's often Mistaken for Gay.
  • Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome: Chloé, Emma and Fabien's daughter, went from being played by a doll in a stroller (with her back to the camera), to being protrayed by a five-year-old actress.
  • Stealth Insult: Particularly frequent from Liliane to José.
Liliane: Who would have thought you would be elected mayor?
José: You. You kept saying it.
Liliane: Yes, but who would have thought?
  • Sticky Fingers: Dylan, Camille's nephew, is always pinching Philippe's watch, wallet, or house decorations.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Léo and Leslie are brought in as the new young couple after Cédric and Marion are Put on a Bus, and later Jalil and Louise are even more similar to them, being in a more adult relationship.
  • Switching P.O.V.: The show is a series of vignettes depicting the lives of each couple. They have never interacted.
  • Take That!:
    • Leslie has a major freak-out before starting nursing school, crying that it's too complicated. She's not talking about the entrance exam. She's talking about using the universally hated Parcoursup application platform.
    • When Emma and Fabien are captured by Latin American militia soldiers, they happily nod to everything the soldiers say they like about French culture. However, even with a gun to her head, Emma can't let them say that Michel Sardou is a good songwriter.
    • One Christmas, Raymond and Huguette offer each other visits with medical specialists, having planned eight months ahead to get an appointment within the year. Ah, the joys of the French medical landscape.
  • The Olympics: Subverted. Season 15 airing at the same time as the 2023 Rugby World Cup, a large number of skits center the characters reacting to the games.
  • Trivial Title: In the 7th special, Enfin, ils sortent!note , Liliane and José spend most of the skits actually hosting in their house.
  • Unaffected by Spice: Jalil claims to be this, as he grew up eating harissa-filled Maghrebine dishes. He is very much affected by Louise's peri-peri sauce, however.
  • Wedding Episode:
    • Cédric and Marion finally get hitched in the 12th special.
    • Raymond and Huguette spend season 14 preparing their Diamond wedding anniversary (the 60th).
    • In the panic of the approaching end of the world in the 20th special, Jalil and Louise get caught in their families throwing them an improptu wedding. They manage not to go through with it.
  • Wild Teen Party: Léo and Leslie host one every other episode.
  • Written-In Absence: Huguette barely appears in the 19th special, as she ran off to Corsica and Raymond is trying to find her.
  • Women Drivers: It's a wonder José's car still runs, given that at least one episode in ten has to be about Liliane's latest accident.
