A Canadian Dawson's Creek look-a-like, (complete with Dawson Casting), but educational. Plenty of Aesops abound, and much heartbreak and Hilarity Ensues along the way.
The series lasted from January, 2001 to July, 2005. A total of 70 episodes in five seasons.
Tropes:
- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: After Myles Ferguson was killed in a car accident after the filming of Season One, his character Scott Linton was dropped without explanation.
- The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: The show is based around teenagers in high school, but the students are never shown actually in class (and rarely studying or doing homework). Of course, showing a scene in class would clash with the fact that There Are No Adults.
- There Are No Adults: There are no characters over the age of 21. Parents and teachers are only mentioned.
- Wardrobe Wound: One of the girls thinks Laurel has spread rumors about her, so she confronts Laurel at the local hangout and dumps a basket of greasy fries on her, ruining Laurel's dress.
