Czas Honoru (eng. Time of Honor) is a Polish TV show set in Nazi-occupied (and later post-war communist-ruled) Warsaw, very loosely inspired by the histories of various covert units of Home Army active during WWII: most famously the Cichociemni note , but also various other units of Kedyw note .
The show centers around four young Polish officers: Bronek, Władek, Michał and Janek, following both their wartime exploits as soldiers in the Home Army and their turbulent personal lives.
It was one of the most popular Polish TV shows of its time and ran for seven seasons (2008-2014). The first six covered the period from 1941 to 1946, while the seventh went back in time to 1944 and depicted Warsaw Uprising the show initially time-skipped over.
