Welcome to my page. My name is Bruce Wayne but you would remembered me as Batman (or The Batman in some universes).

As you all know me well, I am a caped crusader who protects the citizens of Gotham City which is plagued by the crimes from my rogues gallery.

If you wish to know about me, my story begins one fateful night. It was many years ago during a visit to the theatre (or an opera) where my parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, and I had left for the night. However, as we were walking down the alley, a man named Joe Chill cornered us, and, before I knew it, they were gunned down before my eyes.

Following my parents' passing, I was raised by my butler, Alfred Pennyworth, as I dedicated my life to protect Gotham City with my own bare hands and continue my family's enterprise.

It wasn't long until I finally donned the cowl and became Batman, a hero who strikes fear into the eyes of evil and a vigilante in the eyes of the GCPD. Of course, Commissioner Gordon is aware of my intentions but he has his own worries about me.

As a long-runner who has been created in May 1939 by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, I have a lot of history similar to Clark's.

Starting from the The Golden Age of Comic Books, it has me using guns and killing people with ease, a far-cry compared to my stance on firearms nowadays.

Then came the The Dark Age of Comic Books, home of the Darker and Edgier stores like Watchmen and from my franchise, The Dark Knight Returns. These times saw my return to being moody and grim.

When it comes to my live action portrayals, I have been played by a lot of actors such as: Adam West in 1966, Michael Keaton in 1989, Val Kilmer in 1995, George Clooney in 1997 (However, we DON'T talk about that; Not even George Clooney himself), Christian Bale in 2005, 2008, and 2012, Ben Affleck in 2016, 2021, and 2022, Kevin Conroy in 2019 (albeit in an alternate universe), David Mazouz in 2014-2019 (TV series that is), and finally, the latest one is someone named Robert Pattinson.

I also have been in animated series. It began on 5 September 1992 with the iconic series, Batman: The Animated Series courtesy of Kevin Conroy. In fact, it was also the start of the DC Animated Universe. There was also The Batman that first came out on September 11, 2004 and ran concurrently with Justice League Unlimited series (which has a similar art-style to the DCAU version of me, which I suppose could explain why you all were initially were hostile to the show.) I also have appeared in Harley Quinn's show, Harley Quinn (2019).

And by the way Joker and Harley Quinn, if you're reading this, I am coming for you.

These tropes have been either named after me or associated with me.

And these are the rest of the tropes.

Alfred: Master Bruce, I think the city is calling for help again.
Batman: As always Alfred.
Alfred: You know, I heard from Dick that Catwoman is helping out as well. And you know, she could still make quite the Mrs. Wayne someday... Or not.
Batman: Have faith, Alfred. Faith.

How well does it match the trope?
