  • It was just a normal day in the Trope Pantheons. Everyone was going around in their daily lives and battles. Sound normal, right? On the next day, it once again seems normal... except everyone is doing the exact same activities yesterday. This irked Simon, Kamina, Yoko and Nia when their respective friends acted liked nothing's wrong and keep insisting that is the case. Simon and Nia managed to not make too much of a scene while Kamina and Yoko's encounters ended up in violence, causing them to discover their strange blue-coloured blood. The four meet up and immediately, EVERYONE is after them even their fellow Dai-Gurren members with glowing eyes and mouths. Their chase ended in a conspicuous pub known as 'The World's End', where they hide. When the commotion seemingly died down, Kamina pulled down a dispenser lever for a drink, but it actually activated an elevator that spans the bar area which descended to an underground chamber. Lights went on from the robot duplicates of their allies and enemies, revealing the true mastermind: The Network.
    • The Network then explains his mission: he wishes to bring Earth to join an intergalactic community where everyone is at peace with each other and anyone opposing that will be replaced. The biggest obstacle he's faced is that humans are too flawed and chaotic to do that, not to mention that they don't like being told what to do; so, he had to replace a lot of humans to make up for that and later send them to be made into compost.
    • The four refused to accept this; they do want a happier world, but they don't want everyone to lose their individuality as well. Kamina also refuted that humanity's flaws IS what makes them so special and that taking their right to be free away from them will make them lose their specialty. The Network grew irate, since he first heard that kind of refutation from Gary King, an alcoholic who wants to relive his glory days again and began to bombard them with the duplicates. Out of nowhere, the remainder of Team Dai-Gurren appear in flesh and blood with the Gurren Lagann, giving the four a chance to beat the duplicates and disabled the Network's core. After the incident, the Men In Black confiscated his core for repair so that he can be trialed properly for his crime towards the Pantheons.

  • Admires: Omnimon, Mido, Reinforce Zwei, Judai "Jaden" Yuki, and any other user of Fusion Dance. Also Freddy Fazbear and Naughty Bear
  • Special Relationships: Yugi Muto, Judai "Jaden" Yuki, Yusei Fudo (fellow duelists)
  • Ascended after he faked his way into the Pantheon, proclaiming himself to be Judai Yuki's High Priest. Everything was going OK for everyone since Judai happened to like his adorable enthusiasm for the technique until Sora noticed that Yuma Tsukumo was already Judai's High Priest (For Lucky Draws, but still). He completely flipped his shit and tried to assault Yuma until Judai separated them.
    • What really cemented his position in the Pantheon was that the gods discovered that nobody, not even Yuya who supposedly could see through his charade, could notice he was more than just a Bratty Half-Pint back in his world or rather, the world he was spot on until it was too late.
    • He gained his other title because his entire deck, the Frightfurs, are an entire archetype consisting of twisted fusions of the meek and adorable Fluffals with the violent and vicious Edge Imps, turning them into Chuckie-like/Freddy-like murderous plushy abominations.
  • Despite the incident mentioned above, Sora has tried to make Judai not hate him (Because he really likes Fusing), usually by pulling out his act of "cute boy" and some Puppy-Dog Eyes for good measure. The latter doesn't know what to think of this. He has also tried to get closer to Reinforce Zwei and Omnimon for the same reason but Rein can see through his act inmediately. Not that it helps.
    • Sora also has another reason or reasons to seek Judai's company: He remids him a lot of his friend Yuya and they are both from Duel Academia, or so he says. Sora is actually trying to see if he can give his Dimension an edge in the Summoning War by requesting the help from the god of Fusion Summoning himself. Judai is not aware of this in the slightest.
  • Sora has made himself acquaintances with Sae Kashiwagi and Miu Matsuoka in order to perfect his charade since some gods on the Pantheon could see through his act. In particular, he wants to learn how to pull off those seemingly-true tears that Sae can fake so perfectly. Though his Crocodile Tears aren't anything to scoff at, as Sae told him.
  • He really hates, hates, hates, hates, hates Xyz Users and anyone with anything to do with the summoning technique. Reasons? Well, why not?. His one source of joy is that no one from Yugioh ZEXAL will ascend into the Pantheon because of their extreme Broken Base. He also believes that he is practically doing everyone a favour by destroying Heartland City.
    • Because of this, he once tried to attack Ichigo Kurosaki, believing him to be related to the Xyz Duelist and Arch-Enemy Shun Kurosaki. Sora was curb-stomped and sent back to his temple inmediately and even though he wasn't the same Xyz User who once beat him in a duel, the duelist swore to get his revenge on this new humilliation some day.
    • He did not take Yuma's ascension well. This also made him oppose back the other Sora.
Sora: ... WHO KEEPS ASCENDING THESE GUYS?!?!?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
  • Once mistook Harry Potter for his friend Yuya, apparently because their voices are similar (in japanese, anyway). At first, Sora tried to befriend since he missed Yuya but Harry didn't like his two-faced nature and bigotry and rejected him.
  • Ironically for all of these confusions, Yusei also mistook him for his friend Lua/Leo when they first met each other. Sora didn't seem to mind this and was surprisingly nice to him since he still has to decide whether he hates Synchros as much as he does Xyz. He still hasn't met with any duelist from the Synchro Dimension after all.
    • Even though he has a psychotic devotion to Fusions and hatred for Xyz, he is willing to teach all five techniques of summoning to anyone who asks him about it, as he told Yugi, Judai and Yusei. All of them still approach him with caution for obvious reasons.
  • He has some similarities to Mitsuzane's past self note . Micchy didn't like this one bit, saying that even at his worst he wasn't anything like Sora. Sora on his part taunts Micchy about it by saying that he hasn't betrayed Yuya in spite of his antagonizing, very much unlike Micchy did to Kouta. They don't get along.
  • Kurapika has gained his dislike immediately upon ascension. Not only did the Kurta give the feeling of a more uptight and soft-spoken version of that Kurosaki, but his Dowsing Chain was instantly seen by Shiun'in as a serious threat to his cute-child act. Kurapika, meanwhile, didn't even need his abilities to notice his Jerkass and bigoted tendencies (and the blond certainly disapproves of those), but has preferred to simply ignore the brat for the moment and focus on more important matters. note  Kurapika has yet to find out about Shiun'in's role in the Interdimensional War. Fortunately.
  • Never seen without some candy on his person, and as such he often goes to the House of Food for some lollipops. Curiously, he is even able to weaponize these lollipops, as he used one to whack Yuma and Ichigo in the head. Sure, he lost against the latter but the thought is what counts, right?
    • He is not an idiot to simply use lollipop sticks and he actually used the blade of his Duel Disk and even punches and kicks to fight Ichigo. This is why Sora considers his defeat against him too humilliating (Though not as much as the other Kurosaki).
  • One of the few deities in the Pantheon who genuinely loves playing Five Nights at Freddy's and is a huge fan of Freddy Fazbear, due to the fact that he and his gang looks like his Extra Deck of Frightfurs.
    • It's for this reason that he designed his temple to look like a candy parlor with Fluffals on the outside and Frightfurs on the inside to mess with everyone. As many gods will tell you, this is really fitting.
    • He doesn't like all of them, mind you. Springtrap is the one he absolutely hates. The way he killed children is way too gruesome even for him. And this is coming from a little boy who associates with an organization that seals people in cards. Some gods say that Springtrap is calling Sora "enragement child", though no reports has him stating that he wants Sora to inhale his dong.
  • Gets along with Ballon Boy, believing the robot to be similar to himself with the way he is associated with Freddy and the other animatronics and himself with the Frightfurs. There's also the rumour that Shiun'in is actually afraid of meeting Freddy now due to his actions back in his home world and as such feels more comfortable with the Balloon Boy.
    • However, he was definitely more than willing to meet Naughty Bear. While Naughty was a bit unnerved by his actions and is certainly planning on giving him justice, he also sees that Sora does have some standards of his own. He settled for joining Sora on fights against other deities he has on his Long List of those that he's seeking revenge on.
  • One day, he heard that a five-headed dragon ascended into the Pantheon and believing it to be that Five-Headed Dragon, he sprinted into the House of Dragon to see it. Turns out it was actually Tiamat, who would have killed him on the spot if it weren't for Judai and his draco-demon that saved his sorry butt.
  • Seems to be part of a Pink Girl, Blue Boy duo with fellow Deliberately Cute Child Momo Karuizawa and they seem to want to create a group based on using charms with Sae and Miu.
  • Not to be confused with the other Sora. Ever.

  • Domains: Redemption, Darkness, Friendship, Horror, Trickery, War, Cuteness, Fusions, Toys, School

  • Opposed by: Solo
  • As part of Duel Academia, Sora Shiun'in was sent to infiltrate the Pantheon and he forced his ascension by using cutesy faces to win over some gods and murderous teddy bears to silence others. He felt that he had to leave as a way to atone for his actions, but he was stopped by Riku and Mitsuzane Kureshima after hearing of his defection to join in his friends as a lancer and how they accepted him back.
  • The former Duel Soldier still has a cordial relationship with most Killer Teddy Bears like Naughty Bear and Freddy Fazbear even after freeing the position. Naughty Bear was just as friendless as he used to be before meeting Yuya, and Freddy is just like his Frightfurs. For this reason, Sora loves the rest of animatronics except Springtrap because it used to be a Serial Killer of children. Some gods say that Springtrap is calling Sora "enragement child", though no reports has him stating that he wants Sora to inhale his dong. Sora also hates Monokuma, read below for why.
    • He likes toys so much that he partnered with Banette, in spite of the mon's hate of children, and is on friendly terms with the shinobi Haruka and Murasaki (also because he has a friend ninja and is kinda ninja-like himself). He also gave a miniature Fluffal Bear to Gertrud Barkorn as a sign of peace.
  • Used to be a would-be follower of Vector, though the latter doesn't mind his growing beyond that. The Barian still loves to call him "destroyer of worlds" and "grim reaper" as an inside joke and to troll him (see below), but they mostly behave like an Evil(-ish) Brains and Brawn duo. While Vector has Super Power Lottery and Sora can be The Smart Guy, the latter's childish pride means that he will always charge in while Vector (usually) bides his time better. They have a common flaw though: They love to drag out their finishing move to troll their opponents, giving them a chance to fight back. Sora is also Vector's personal assistant.
    • He also has other "brothers" with Johan Anderson and Bruno, and a "cousin" with Micchy (due to being similar to him as the smart guys of their group that became antagonistic), who were happy to hear about his redemption. The latter, along with Kouta and Mai, was very proud to see that it didn't take Yuya too many hardships to bring him back, though he did cringe at Sora nearly commiting the same mistake he did regarding loved ones and evil professors.
      • Speaking of Mai, she has been very interested in teaching Sora how to dance, though she is still dumbfounded that a dance between his bear-chimera and Yuzu's Bloom Prima defeated mooks.
  • Xyz was his biggest hate as he was taught that they were weak ones to be stomped on. But on the Pantheon, Yuma never gave up on him and his being similar to Yuya confused him. They're more friendly now. It's similar with Gentaro, and Sora never had a trouble with him anyway since his desire of making everyone smile reminds him of Yuya. Though he learned that Gentaro isn't fooled by puppy faces.
    • Despite stopping to hate Xyz, not everyone has forgiven him. Eliphas won't back down until the day Sora is dead, and not even Yuma seems to be able to calm the alien down. Sora feels horrible at having enraged a god with his actions. Anna did hate him quite a bit too but eventually gave up on that and is more cordial towards him. It might be because he sounds like Umimi. It does unnerve her to see Sora being so nonchalant with Vector for the same reason.
  • Might not be the nicest person around or have a working moral compass, but damn if he doesn't stick by his friends when it counts, this being the reason why he changed sides. And he really doesn't take it well if someone suggests otherwise. Sora has gotten into fights against Kamen Rider Eternal as a result.
  • Riku has jokingly commented on the kid "earning his name" as a result of the above. The Keyblade Master also offered him a spot on his new group for redeemed people.
  • Masato Kusaka once saw potential on Sora after hearing about his jerkass racist ways so he tried to expand his hatred of Xyz into a hatred of non-humans. This died down with Sora's redemption but they really don't have any hard feelings about it, though Kusaka was disappointed.
  • Hates Xehanort without a hint of irony due to his being like Professor Leo Akaba, the one who corrupted Duel Academia and made him a Duel Soldier. It doesn't help that Xehanort targets Kairi, who reminds Shiun'in of Yuzu (which is a no-go on his book).
    • Sora also agrees with Vector's anti-corruption sentiment ever since Academia decided to use brainwashing, on Yuzu and her Identical Strangers. He especially opposes Takuma Saiou because of the fact that he might be named after the SORA Kill Sat.
    • Speaking of Academia, Sora doesn't like neither Monokuma, nor his mastermind. They just bring him bad memories of the place, especially after hearing about Junko's sister Ikusaba.
  • Allied with Sae Kashiwagi, Miu Matsuoka and Momo Karuizawa to perfect his act since some could see through it and to learn how to pull off those seemingly-true tears that Sae can fake, though she told him that his Crocodile Tears aren't that bad. He also formed a Pink Girl, Blue Boy duo with the latter. But even then, he opposes the more evil saccharine gods like Nui Harime, B.B. Hood, Airy and Umbridge even after giving up his old Deliberately Cute Child position since he only used his cuteness for free breakfasts and general freeloading.
  • There were news of a new Sora who started out being heroic. Too bad that he is as psychotic as ever. Some people like Gentaro (after it became clear that Sora was lying about being Ryusei in this continuity) do wonder if Sora really has a sister or if he was in drag that time.
  • Can sometimes be found sparring with Annie Hastur and Angelia Avallon. He is more evenly matched against Annie due to both of them using bears (and maybe tipped in his favour given that he call forth more plushy animals) but Angelia will always beat him if she is fighting with her sister.
  • Sora stil tries to be with Judai. Or any fusion user, for that matter. Reinforce Zwei knows he can't be trusted but it doesn't help at all. Though he's the most adamant with Judai, since he looks like Yuya. Judai eventually conceded that Sora does look like Sho and accepted him after recent events.
    • While he fails at stalking Garnet due to her seeing it coming, Steven Universe has befriended him as Sora reminded him of Peridot, note . Both children like to eat donuts together after that., and Sora often tries to see him or the gems fusing whenever he can. He has also attempted to teach him to how "fusion summon" food, which Steven has taken to immediately... Except for sardines with chocolate, that's just disgusting.
  • More often than not, Sora can be found eating candies in the House of Food, especially lollipops that he will always eat even when he is angry. If he really starts wasting them, beware. He usually eats them with Kyoko Sakura, Minori and Stocking Anarchy.
    • After hearing about this, Mai wasted no time in taking him to eat in Charmant. Sora really liked Oren's pastries too and became a welcome regular customer afterwards so long as he keeps his experiments with food out of earshot of the Rider. Sora was also surprised with how they are both silly people with a bit of an attitude that just so happen to be soldiers.
  • Don't confuse this Sora with Gremlin or Sora Kasugano. You don't want to know what happened to the last schmuck that did. He doesn't mind that much if it's Naegino or the keybearer due to a mix of resignation and admiration... Unless the latter happens to be around. Then he will complain loudly about it.
    • Want to press your luck if Sora let this slide? 1) Harm his friends or put into question his loyalty to them. (As mentioned, he has deep resentment for Katsumi Daido after he did the latter.), 2) Pulling the punches because they pity him too (he will do anything in his power to just force his opponent into finish him off if they try) as he views those as looking down on him, 3) Tell him that his Fluffals suck.
    • He also dislikes FUCKING BIRDS since Kurosaki had those as his deck. He doesn't quite hate them now but The Crow gets on his nerves since they sound alike and crows were the theme of the deck of his ally in Synchro Crow Hogan.
  • Due to a misunderstanding, Sora once attacked Solo believing him to be that same stupid Captain Solo. Solo was not amused with this and feels disgust that Sora wouldn't look for redemption of his homeland by himself, relying on his friends instead. After all, Sora became stronger by his lonesome so Solo thinks that he didn't need them.
  • Sora really loves Halloween. Tricks, treats, scaries, it's like the day was made just for him! He likes helping Jack Skellington with his show by summoning his many Frightfurs and has many costumes for his use like a demon and a wolf (contrasting his rival the keybearer)
  • Being evil and alone was sad for me, but then I met you. You taught me friendship.
  • He was seen very sad of lately because of the carding of Asuka and his ally Tsukikage.

  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: The pink ribbon that Rachel gave him as a gift, amidst a blood-red moon which has his crest etched upon it on his emblem.

  • Domains: Canines, Butlers, Hybrids, Heroism, Time
  • Followers: Sajin Komamura, Z.W.E.I
  • Allies: Rachel Alucard, Hakumen, Hayate Ayasaki, Fiona Mayfield, Genn Greymane.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork With: Ragna the Bloodedge.
  • Enemies: Yuuki Terumi and Relius Clover, anyone who dares to impugn Rachel's honor, Baby Bonnie Hood (werewolves are her #1 enemy).
  • Valkenhayn was once a follower of Hayate Ayasaki, God of Battle Butlers, and made a few appearances here and there at the behest of Rachel Alucard, for he shall always be available to tend to her ladyship. After amassing even more power after her deification, Rachel was finally able to fully manifest Valkenhayn within the Pantheon as the God of Cool Werewolves.
    • Despite common misconceptions, he is not a "true" werewolf (in the traditional sense), but actually a wolf beastkin who can transform into both a wolf and a hybrid form that is similar to the modern depiction of a werewolf. Hence the God of Man-Wolf Hybrids addendum.
  • Is the one who beats the crap out of Relius Clover to near death. However, post-battle, Valkenhayn noticed that the man might have lost his will to fight near the end...
    • It's also said that he lets Guile, Roy Mustang and Archer join in the fun, recognizing their intense distaste for Relius.

  • Domains: Knowledge, Magic
  • Allies: Touma Kamijou, Mikoto Misaka, Othinus
  • Followers: Shiori Momono
  • The first (and so far only) humanoid to make her home within the Treasures of the Gods. She has been allowed to stay on the condition that she doesn't touch anything else in the temple, especially the Demonic Compendium.
  • Just as her name suggests, Index contains an entire printing press' worth of magical lore in her brain. For her own protection, she has made her home in the House of Treasures, kept far away from shady types like Brainiac who seek to unlock the spells within for ill intent.
  • A frequent visitor to the House of Food, she has been known to eat entire kitchens full of food, as she does not have to rely on Touma to feed her anymore.
    • She heard about the Gourmet Race and managed to escape the SCP agent escort assigned to guard her when outside the Vault to take part in the event. Though she didn't make much progress, she still impressed King Dedede enough to be an honorary Gourmet Racer Club member and allowed to sit at the table. When the higher-ups of the SCP learned of this, they demoted the agents to D-Class and assigned a tougher squad to keep an eye on her whenever she goes to the Gourmet Racer Club table.
  • Due to the excessive amount of grimoires she contains and their potency, she has been put within its Maximum Security section.

    Shendu
Shendu, Trope Pending
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shendu_stone.png
Shendu imprisoned note
  • Potential House: TBA
  • Demigod (when freed and with all 12 Talismans within him, he jumps up to Overdeity)
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Portfolio: Sealed Evil in a Can, Chronic Backstabbing Disorder
  • Domains: Sorcery, Dragons, Demons, Imprisonment
  • Allies: Ha ha ha...no. He has betrayed everyone he had ever allied with
  • Enemies: Everyone with special emphasis on JACKIE CHAN, Uncle Chan, Jade and Tohru
  • Even though Shendu was banished to the Netherworld along with his son, Quan Chi contacted the demon sorcerer within Netherworld for a chance to be free in exchange for servitude under him. Shendu swore to bow before him and Quan Chi immediately broke him free. When he did, Shendu indeed knelt in front of the necromancer, only to launch a powerful uppercut that took Quan Chi by surprise. Shendu said he while he swore he would bow before him, he never swore loyalty or allegiance. Quan Chi immediately attacked him only to fail due to the demon sorcerer's powers and magic being much greater. After defeating him, Shendu went straight to the portal that led from the Netherworld to the Pantheon.
  • Shendu's rampage through the Pantheon was short but strong. While most of the Combat Dojo and Power Dome deities led by Jackie Chan stalled him, a team of magic casters from the House of Magic led by Uncle Chan arrived with the necessary spell to once again imprison Shendu in his statue form with his magic once again transferred to the familiar twelve Talismans. It was then decided to store his Statue in Maximum Security within a special chamber covered in ofudas and magic wards, to prevent anyone with evil intent to ever enter and free him.
  • Shendu can still communicate telepathically, but the chamber he was stored in is completely shielded by magic which prevents his words from leaving the area. Still, it is warned that nobody should ever make a promise with him. He will break it no matter what happens.
  • Above all, no one should ever insert one of the Talismans into the slots of his statue, especially the Sheep or Rat Talismans. The former can allow him to possess any stray vessel while the latter will return him to his humanoid shape, albeit without any of his magic (though he still retains his raw physical power and stamina).

    Kaban and Serval
Kaban and Serval, Goddesses of All CGI Cartoons (Kaban: Bag)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/55898_150.jpg
Left: Serval Right: Kaban
  • Demigoddesses Serval becomes a Lesser Goddess with Wild Release
  • Symbol: A Japari bun next to a hat with two feathers
  • Theme song: Welcome to Japari Park
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: All-CGI Cartoon, Sleeper Hit, Iyashikei, Reincarnation
  • Domains: Animals, Friendship, Nature
  • High Priests: The characters from ReBoot
  • Allies: The House of Beast, Fluttershy, Len, Ricotta Elmar, Jaune Clafoutis, Millhiore, Leonmitchelli and Couvert, 1401-Iona
  • Commonality Connection: The ascended Touhou and Kantai Collection deities
  • After adventuring around Japari Park to discover what Kaban was, Kaban and Serval left Japari Park to find any potential remnants of humanity and eventually, they happened to find their way to the Pantheon.
  • Many deities have noticed that Kaban and Serval have a very stilted and robotic way of moving. When one deity asked Kaban about why their movements are so stiff, Kaban replied with:
"Strange? Really? That's how all out friends at Japari Park move."
    • Because of their 3D movements, it's a commonplace occurrence to see Kaban and Serval getting along well with other CG deities such as 1401-Iona.
  • Whenever they're not in their temple, Kaban and Serval can usually be found travelling around the pantheon, befriending many of the animal deities they encounter.
    • While Kaban and Serval have a knack for making friends and helping other deities with their problems, they often get along particularly well with other anthropomorphised animal deities.
  • When Kaban and Serval ascended, they brought a chunk of Sandstar with them. While the Sandstar does often interact with inorganic material, creating Ceruleans, it can also make them Friends again in the event they get eaten by a Cerulean.
    • Fortunately or unfortunately, this also has the effect of working on other already ascended animals so several deities have been excited or irritated when their animal friends suddenly gain human-levels of intelligence while still retaining their abilities they had as an animal.
  • Not long after their ascension, Kaban and Serval have been on good terms with the ascended Touhou and Kancolle deities due to all of them really popular Moe Anthropomorphisms.
