  • Everyone except Margo in Brandy & Mr. Whiskers. ESPECIALLY Ed Otter and Lola Boa. In one episode Ed even stated "I cannot see your face, stranger for I must hide my own in disgrace but if you have come from distant lands, feel free to ridicule me as you would your own" after being embarassed by having whipped cream on him. In another episode, Brandy cuts Ed from the coco ball team. His reaction? Silent, painful tears. And let's not forget the episode where Mr.Whiskers verbally abused Ed and made him cry when all Ed wanted to do was help. Lola Boa has very low self-esteem, too. Also, both Brandy and Gaspar count as Jerkass Woobies. Brandy has trouble adjusting to jungle life, being all pampered and Mr.Whiskers practically drives her crazy.
  • Oopsy was designed to be the designated woobie of Adventures In Care A Lot. Unfortunately, it only resulted in a Broken Base- some fans really do find Oopsy adorable and wants to cuddle him all the time, others really hated him with a passion and want him removed from the series.
  • Several of the characters from The Mr. Men Show are considered Woobies. Some fans feel bad for Mr. Grumpy, though he doesn't get it as bad as the latter characters. Mr. Quiet and Miss Calamity due that they get bad luck (Mr. Quiet especially because he just happens to live next door to Mr. Loud). Mr. Bump due that he always get hurt, Mr. Persnickety/Fussy due to always being scapegoated and living in a duplex with Mr. Messy, and even Mr. Happy from some of the fans. Whenever he feels sadness, anger, anxiety, etc, he hides it behind a smile so other people will still be happy, making him suffer in silence the most out of anyone in the show, without most of the Mr./Misses knowing.
  • Mr Bump. He has Miss Whoops for a sister. We'd hate to be him. And in some cases, this trope can expand to Mr Quiet. Miss Calamity, until her disappearance in season 2, was also part of this trope.
  • However, since some people are amused by how Mr. Bump gets repeatedly harmed, you could describe him as The Chew Toy. Miss Calamity fitted this trope, too.
    • Mr. Happy is also considered one. There are some fans who feel sorry for him. While the Chew Toys/Butt Monkeys always express how they feel and get back on their feet, Mr. Happy has to hide his other emotions behind a smile and suffer in silence.
    • Mr. Nervous. He's practically scared of life itself!
    • Mr. Quiet - the poor dude is just looking for some peace and quiet but ends up being walked over by others or dragged into their mess.
    • Miss Sunshine in the Surprise skit (even if it was for a moment).
  • Oscar's Oasis:
    • Jerkass Woobie: Harchi, in spades. Popy and Buck have their moments but generally, Harchi is the most sympathetic of the three. In the episode Lost, he gets separation anxiety from being apart from Popy and Buck and he starts crying because he's scared of being alone and he even tearfully begs Oscar not to leave him. He may pick on Oscar just like the other two but his heart is in the right place. Buck's suffering is more Played for Laughs than Harchi's suffering in general.

Paw Paw Bears:

  • Jerkass Woobie: Slippery Paw and Bumble Paw, Dark Paw's two henchmen, play this straight. Sure, they are jerkasses, but they're also Adorable Evil Minions whom Dark Paw uses as his personal punching bags.
Dark Paw. He tries so hard to get the moonstone yet always fails.
  • The Woobie:
    • Trembly Paw, particularly in the episode "Honey of a Robbery." No one believes him when he sees something because he's such a Nervous Wreck, so the others mock him and laugh at him for it.
    • Totem Turtle also qualifies. He's the Non-Action Guy of the totem mecha and he even sheds a Single Tear when Princess calls him "too slow".
    • Another example would be the unnamed Slave Mook Paw Paw who was turned into a greedy greenie. He's portrayed in a rather heartbreaking manner.
    • Shortfeather also qualifies, as he's the horse counterpart to Trembly Paw.
    • Angel!Trembly in the episode "The Great Paw Paw Turn Around". All he does is shiver and look sad and he tells Trembly that he almost got them killed by beating up the meanos.
    • Trembly Paw from Paw Paw Bears. He's a Nervous Wreck and whenever he sees something actually happen the other characters don't believe him and some even laugh at him about it. There's also the fact that he is one of the only Paw Paws without a plush doll. Had the show been more popular, he'd probably sell many plushies due to being a woobie.
  • The Powerpuff Girls has a few examples:
    • Each of the girls have had their woobie moments, such as Blossom in "The Mane Event," Bubbles in "Octi Evil" and "All Chalked Up," and practically any episode (except "Moral Decay") that revolves around Buttercup.
    • The Professor has a few woobie moments in the post-movie seasons.
    • Ms. Bellum herself can also count, due to her employer getting a case of Flanderization in the post-movie seasons as well.
    • Some of the villains can count as well, especially Mojo Jojo in "The Powerpuff Girls Rule!!" special.
  • Yipper from the Pound Puppies (2010) episode "The Yipper Caper" spends most of the episode depressed because he thinks nobody want him. At least he gets his happy ending at the end of the episode.
  • Gus Griswald from Recess. Being a Military Brat, his family always has to move from state to state, he has a Friendless Background, and he's always picked on by the other kids at school.
  • Rick and Morty: Poor, poor Morty. He is often a guinea pig for his grandfather Rick's crazy scientific escapades, his parents bicker constantly, and these are just the tip of the iceberg...
While Rick is typically a drunken Jerk Ass, the Rick from G-19 Zeta 7 a.k.a. Doofus!Rick is definitely not the case. Because of Rick G 19 Z 7 being soft-spoken and having no children of his own (which means no corresponding Morty), the other Ricks ridicule and ostracize him.

YMMV/Recess:

  • Jerkass Woobie:
Spinelli might be rough and cold to a lot of people but she has a very overbearing mother to deal with, and it's implied she's very insecure about not fitting in with the other kids.Ashley A. in "Outcast Ashley" where she's kicked out of the clique for forgetting to wear purple on Purple Day. She looks genuinely sad and is so lonely afterwards.
  • Randall in "Randall's Reform", to the point where even TJ feels sorry for him.
  • "Without friends, a kid's birthday is just another day of the year."
  • Normal Woobie:
    • Gus. As the new kid, a perpetual Butt-Monkey and even a bully victim, the poor guy needs a hug. In the movie he bursts into tears that he's never had any good memories of summers with friends.
    • Vince in the episode "I Will Kick No More Forever" - it's clear that being thought of as yesterday's news is devastating for him. There's even a scene where he's the last choice for kick ball and the two captains are arguing over who has to take him. Ouch.
    • Gretchen often has to deal with people tormenting her (Geoffrey, Becky Benson) or else not being able to relate to her friends for being much smarter than them. And in "More Like Gretchen" Spinelli's parents favouring her nearly destroys her friendship with Spinelli.
    • Miss Finster in "Weekend at Muriel's" - when she realises how miserable Spinelli is at spending time with her.
      • "Is it true, Muriel? Have you gotten...boring?"
