RULES TO AVOIDING RESERVATION CLASHES IN REGARDS TO ASCENDING A DEITY:
Step 1: Know the trope you're about to work on.
Step 2: Go to the trope page.
Step 3: Click 'Related'
Step 4: Search for keywords 'Pantheon' or 'Sandbox'.
Step 5: See if it's taken.
It's EASIER that way.

IMPORTANT NOTES TO SELF:

1) Don't create deities whose titles play with tropes!
2) Warn tropers beforehand before you modify titles to your style in their sandboxes. If you're not sure of the gender or how to word the trope, LEAVE IT BE, no matter how awkward the page would now look!
3) Do not make templates before the troper wants it to, not even hidden ones.
4) Reservations for candidates for tropes are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. Any hopes to claim another's is all up to the troper. And there are some, like r-lock256, who are territorial about it in regards to specific tropers such as nightelf37.

Profiles I'm Working On

    Madotsuki
Madotsuki, Goddess of Surreal Horror and Preferring Dreams to Reality
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/madotsukibase.png
  • Intermediate Goddess potentially Overdeity if she were to wake up and in her Evil form
  • Symbol: Her shirt pattern
  • Theme Song: Yume Nikki's Title Screen Theme or the Save Theme
  • Alignment: True Neutral, with some hints of Evil
  • Portfolio: Eyes Always Shut, Desensitized to Horror, Likes Knives, Never says a Word, Hikikomori, Unknown Age, Surreal Symbolic Heads
  • Domains: Dreams, Surrealism, Horror, Knives
  • High Priest/Herald: Urotsuki
  • Followers: Sabitsuki, Usotsuki, Chie, Me, etc.
  • Allies: The Human Child, Ness, Kirby, Sayori, Sumireko, The Wind Fish, Steven Universe
  • Enemies: Giygas, Monika, Freddy Krueger, Atropos, Ruvik, Mara
  • Tolerates: Haruto Tsukishiro, Soldier # 25954, The Inception Crew, Ni GHTS, SCP-990, Azathoth
  • Opposes: Darkrai, Ysera, Sigmund Freud
  • Opposed by: Sans
  • A mysterious young girl who spends most of her time dreaming. That’s not to say that she’s unconscious, however, given that the Pantheon itself appears to be her dream at the moment. She is a silent individual, with no clear goal whatsoever. She is usually seen exploring the surroundings without interacting much with anyone, although she has no qualms about stabbing anyone who gets in her way or, sometimes, on a whim.
  • Her personal dream world is known to be a dark and strange place, often featuring surrealistic landscape (even more than most of the house of Dreams), gore and sometimes downright Freudian imagery. Despite this, it seems to be where she is the most at ease, and certain deities have found certain places in the dream world to be relaxing indeed.
    • Several deities have shown interest in the more dark side of her dreams, including the House of Slaughter visiting the Eyeball World and Freud visiting places such as the Numbers World or the Infinite Road. Madotsuki usually reacts violently to anyone entering her domain without her permission, including well-meaning entities. This puts her at odds against most deities capable of manipulating dreams.
  • Seems to dislike Monika, due to her using her powers to force her own friends to suicide, something she has almost experienced in the past. On the other hand, she seems to sympathize with Sayori, even if the latter finds the little girl to be a bit off-putting.
  • Due to their similar origins and status as Heroic Mimes, she is often seen with Ness and the Human Child. Notably, she opposes Giygas alongside Ness, due to the abomination reminding her of a certain trauma hidden deep within her dream. While the Human Child generally appreciates her, they are worried about her tendencies of stabbing monsters on a whim and thus try to keep her away from their friends from the Underground.
    • Flowey has taken interest in the girl, due to her similarity with the Fallen Child. However, Madotsuki ignores him at best, if not outright attempts to murder him.
    • For the same reasons, Sans is very wary of her, especially when she is around other monsters.
  • Steven projected into her dreams by accident, and upon bumping in to her, immediately apologized for walking into her dreams without her permission. Surprisingly, she accepted it, and the two ended up becoming friends. When Steven's asleep, they like to race each other on occasion, Steven using his rocket shoes and Madotsuki using her fast-travel effects.
  • Madotsuki is extremely protective of her dream journal. Not only does it keeps all of her memories of her dream, but last time it was destroyed, she went on a rampage and almost destroyed the entire dream world. Needless to say that she doesn’t want it to happen again.
  • She seems to tolerate the presence of other dream-walkers in her own dreams, such as Haruto Tsukishiro and Agent # 25954, as long as they don’t interfere too much with her own dreams.
    • Due to both being isolationist individuals who escaped reality through their dreams, she seems to respect Sumireko quite a lot, with them even visiting each other’s dreams (which is Gensokyo for Sumireko) on occasion. Yukari is keeping an eye out for both, given their frequent travels through the barrier.
    • She absolutely hates Freddy, due to his habit of invading her dreams and attacking her in them. However, Madotsuki is not as vulnerable as most of the killer's victims, so these encounters often end up as a brawl between the two.
  • Madotsuki finds Kirby to be absolutely adorable, despite not expressing it so clearly. She allows him in her Dream World from times to time, where he will usually copy the ability of a few denizens to match Madotsuki's effects.
  • Will react extremely violently against anyone with a history of rape or anyone wielding strong sexual imagery, for some unknown reasons. Thus, she tends to avoid the House of Love, particularly the Subhouse of Lust.
  • As Madotsuki is currently dreaming herself into this world, and due to her Dream World now being connected to the Pantheon, it is believed among many deities that Madotsuki waking up could cause the temporary destruction of the universe. Parallels have been drawn between the girl, the Blind Idiot and the Wind Fish. Precautions have thus been taken to ensure that nothing would cause her to wake up, whether willingly or not.
    • Her status has drawn the attention of the GUAD as a potential tool for the destruction of the world and of the Magical Girl Sisterhood as a potential new member, on top of keeping her in check. Madotsuki hasn’t shown any desire to join either group, however.
    • She has actually been seen in company of Azathoth quite often. No one knows how she manages to keep her sanity intact in its presence, although some theorize that she simply can’t see it due to having her eyes shut all the time. She also seems to be on good terms with the Wind Fish, due to facing her own nightmares in her dreams. Although unlike him, Madotsuki would rather stay in her dreams than wake up, so being trapped in her own dreams wouldn’t have bothered her as much.

    Promestein
Promestein, Goddess of Experimenting on Oneself
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/80_stein_st01.png
  • Intermediate Goddess Overdeity using the White Rabbit drug
  • Symbol: The silhouette of her hair surrounded by a transparent halo and a transparent pair of wings
  • Theme Song: Promestein 1, Promestein 2 when using the White Rabbit drug
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil (Though her methods are evil, the results and goal of her actions often go from Neutral to Good)
  • Portfolio: Having Science as a Goal, Being a Hot Scientist, Mad Science, God Killer, Rebelling Against her Own Species, Rebelling against the Heavens, Manipulating Seaweed, Magitek, Fighting Evil while being Evil, Being Prepared for Nearly Every Situations
  • Domains: Science, Holiness, Seaweeds, Genetic Engineering, Technology
  • Herald: La Croix
  • Followers: Laplace, Lucia, most scientists from her home series, the five Next Dolls, most of her chimeras
  • Allies: Victor Frankenstein, Cave Johnson, Bondrewd, Prometheus, The Medic, GLaDOS, Albert W. Wily, Alfred Drevis
  • Enemies: Luka, Alice, YHVH, Big Brother, Aya Shameimaru
  • Opposed by: Most Good-aligned deities in the House of Science, Most holy deities
  • Respects: Lucifer, Albert Einstein, Kratos, most human scientists
  • Uneasy Relationship with: Truth, The SCP Foundation, The Immortal God-Emperor of Mankind
  • Following her defeat against Luka and Alice, the reaction of Chaos within her own body caused a rift in space-time to manifest, which sent her decaying body into the Pantheon, several months after the ascension of her previous opponents. While this event caused her to lose the modifications caused by the White Rabbit drug, it also saved her from her previous fate. She was ascended shortly after her appearance in the Pantheon.
    • Both Luka and Alice were horrified when they learned about her ascension, as she was one of Goddess Ilias' main Dragon. As her appearance here was caused by the fusion of Holy and Dark magic in her body, either Ilias or Black Alice following suit to Promestein isn't too far-fetched according to the duo.
  • Unlike a lot of mad scientists in the Pantheon, she sees science and knowledge as both a mean and a goal. All the weapons and pieces of technology she develops are made either to research the truth of the universe or to exterminate those who oppose that ideal.
    • While she isn't opposed to working with scientists with a far more evil agenda than her own as an alliance of circumstances, she will only truly ally herself with those who follow the same path of Truth as her and has no qualms about getting rid of her former allies if their plans were to ultimately enter into conflict with hers.
  • Although she identifies as a "Seeker of Truth", she doesn't have a fully positive relationship with the actual Truth, as she sees its attitude of punishing alchemists to be limiting towards their true potential. In turn, the Truth keeps a close eye on Promestein, especially after her attempts at taking down the God of her universe.
  • She has come to admire the SCP Foundation, due to the organization embodying what she wishes humanity was: a civilization capable of standing on its own even against the supernatural and who seeks to understand said supernatural phenomena, although she wishes for the Foundation to invest a lot more in the research in the SC Ps themselves and frowns upon their habits of hiding the truth to most of humanity. The Foundation, on the other hand, stay wary of Promestein, mostly due to her still being a supernatural threat and due to her lack of morals, even compared to them. They are, however, interested in her abilities to combat, defeat and seal immensely powerful beings like Goddess Ilias through sheer technology alone.
    • The two have cooperated from times to time, with Promestein helping contain several SC Ps. Rumors of Promestein being considered for recruitment into the Foundation, or even secretly being already a member, have been spread around, although neither of the concerned parties has confirmed nor denied this.
  • Although she was put off at first by Lucifer, she quickly started to sympathize with his rebellion against his God and his support of humanity in this aspect. She still has her reservations about the utterly lawless world he wishes to create, as she believes that humanity needs some degree of order and cohesion to move forward.
    • The fact that Lucifer's own God resembles Goddess Ilias so much is also one of the great factors of her respect towards Lucifer. Naturally, taking down YHVH has been one of her main goals since she discovered his existence.
    • Her interest in joining the GUAC was cut short when she realized that one of the leaders of the organization was Alipheese the Sixteenth. Although she doesn't actively hate the Monster Lord, she doesn't fancy the idea of working as her underlying, especially as she helped in her original defeat. Moreover, Alice violently opposes Promestein due to their past, making an alliance between the two highly unlikely.
  • Has taken interest an in GLaDOS, as the AI closely resembles one of her dearest creation and possesses an insatiable thirst for knowledge and science, much like her. Both have collaborated several times, with Promestein providing test subjects and GLaDOS sharing the results of her experiments with the angel.
  • Due to both being her namesake and due to sharing many characteristics with them, she gets along very well with Dr. Frankenstein (or the Modern Prometheus) and Prometheus himself. The latter still has some reservations about the girl, however, given her ruthless treatment of humans despite her self-proclaimed love towards them.
  • Given the instability of the White Rabbit drug, she prefers to not use it despite the immense increase in power this would give to her. Instead, she is currently seeking an immense source of Holy magic to absorb in order to keep her body stable once she does use it. Luka seems to be her primary target, mostly as a payback for her original defeat. Most angelic entities and especially God-like beings tend to avoid her for this very reason.
  • She deeply respects human scientists in the Pantehon as they embody all that she believes in: that humanity will resume her work and walk the same path of truth she walks. As such, she gets along with Evil or Amoral scientists and truth seekers a lot. On the other hand, most good-aligned scientists oppose her ways of putting aside any morals for her work, although most of them do respect her ambitions and scientific feats.
    • Edward Elric, in particular, is disgusted by her experiments involving sentient beings fused with others against their wills. Her Chimera Beasts freaks him out the most out of all her creations.
    • Given that her fellow Seekers of Truth didn't ascend with her, she is currently looking for others truth-seekers from the Pantheon in order to reform her previous group. As of now, it's not clear whether she plans to create her own group or to join "The Lab" from the GUAC.
  • The Immortal God-Emperor of Mankind has mixed opinions on her, admiring her drive to defeat ignorance and abusive gods, alongside her love for humanity, but reviles her usage of humans as guinea pigs and livestock as a mean for this.

    Urotsuki
Urotsuki, Goddess of Fan Sequels
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/urotsuki.png
  • Intermediate Goddess potentially Overdeity if she were to wake up
  • Symbol: Her shirt pattern
  • Theme Song: Yume 2kki's Save Themes
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Eyes Always Shut, Chainsaw Good, Never says a Word, Surreal Symbolic Heads, Biker Girl, Tomboy, Japanese Delinquent
  • Domains: Dreams, Surrealism, Fanbase
  • Followers: Sabitsuki, Usotsuki, Chie, Me, etc.
  • Allies: Madotsuki, Ness, Kirby, Sumireko, The Wind Fish, Steven Universe, Jotaro Kujo
  • Enemies: Freddy Krueger, Atropos, Ruvik, Alfred Drevis
  • Soon after the ascension of Madotsuki, a similar closed-eyed dreamer showed up and with her, another, far larger Dream World. This girl was apparently already familiar with Madotsuki, and the two immediately started hanging around. Not long after that, she was granted the title of Goddess, allowing her to remain in the Pantheon.
  • Her circumstances appear very similar to Madotsuki's. Both are silent girls who are currently dreaming themselves into the Pantheon. They are also seen together more often than not, even casually visiting each other's Dream Worlds. However, Urotsuki seems a bit more hesitant in visiting Madotsuki's Dreams than the opposite.
  • While still somewhat of a shut-in, Urotsuki is far more outgoing than her close friend, making her more popular overall. This is reflected in her Dream World, which is not only bigger but contains far more sentient beings. It isn't without its fair share of horrific scenery though.
  • She gets along with most of those who also get along with Madotsuki, including the Human Child or Ness, and is seen in their presence considerably more than her fellow dreamer.
  • She has taken a liking to Jotaro Kujo, due to her liking of similar school delinquents. He has the same dismissive behavior he has for most girls towards her but has come to stand her a bit more than most.
  • While she has attempted to befriend Aya Drevis, her blind admiration towards her father has put her off quite a bit, due to some rather traumatic experiences she had with scientists in her own dream world.

    The Dream World
The Dream World, (Un?)Holy Seat of Lands of Dreams
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_nexus.png
The Nexus of Madotsuki's Dream World
  • A world containing all of the disturbed dreams of several girls.
  • Symbol: A Dream Diary
  • Alignment: True Neutral (This world contains both evil and good entities, with most of them being neutral. While the structure of the world appears quite chaotic from an outsider's point of view, it is quite strict about keeping its order intact)
  • Portfolio: Dream Land, Eldritch Location, Mental World, World of Symbolism
  • Domains: Dreams, Horror, Surrealism
  • Similar Places: Wonderland
  • Sacred To: Madotsuki, Urotsuki
  • Dream Land of Popstar was originally considered for the position but was dropped in favor of this one due to actually being a dream, and not just themed after one.
  • While this world was originally just Madotsuki's Dream World, Urotsuki's ascension caused her own Dream World to be connected to Madotsuki's, creating an even bigger world. Since then, the Dream Worlds of several non-ascended dreamers similar in origins to these two have been connected to this greater world. Nowadays, the Dream World is too large to properly map out or record, with the hundreds of different worlds forming an extremely chaotic maze.
  • It is accessed from Madotsuki's and Urotsuki's temples and is technically an extension of it. While no one actually guards the entrance to it, unsolicited visits may result in a violent reaction from either the residents or the girls themselves.
  • Notably, most beings originating from this world cannot die permanently and will come back from death once the room they are in is left. This extends to most of the scenery of the Dream World, which will return to its default state if altered. This does not apply to outsiders entering the place, even if said outsiders are dream constructs from other Dream Worlds.

    Minecraft
Minecraft, Holy Seat of Sandboxes
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/theoverworld.jpg
The Overworld
  • A set of three infinite worlds composed out of blocks. This includes the Overworld, the Nether and the End.
  • Symbol: A block of grass
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio: Wide Open Sandbox, The Overworld, Classical Hell, New Dimension for the Final Boss
  • Domains: Blocks, Exploration, Creation
  • Sacred To: Steve, Herobrine(?) and the Wither(?)
  • The land of origins of Steve, this world is quite different from the classical Earth-like dimensions. Not only is it composed out of blocks, but it is actually flat, and stretches infinitely on the horizontal axis. On the vertical axis, however, it is only a couple of hundred of blocks tall, with an endless void existing both above and below it.
  • This world is actually comprised out of three connected yet distinct dimensions: The Overworld, a relatively normal world with forests, oceans, deserts and other natural structures, The Nether, a hell-like cave filled with lava and undead monsters, and The End, a series of islands floating in the void, with the central one hosting a dragon in it.
  • There exists actually a nigh-infinite number of variations of the Minecraft world. Some of them only have small geographical changes, while some have outright different laws entirely. The world linked to the Pantheon is just one of them, created specifically for the Pantheon (although it isn't much different than the others like it).
