  • Silly Rabbit, Idealism Is for Kids!: "Jag vill inte vara prinsessa" starts with numminen telling that he believed in those fairly tales where the princes get the princess after beating a witch. The stories and dreams changed at "the door to adulthood" and the prince might find the Witch to be more enchanting and that he no longer believe in those fairytales.

  • Stylistic Suck: Often uses this. Especially with the singing, like sliding the tone up and down seemingly randomly (but quite artfully), suddenly switching to a falsetto 'scream' and the back to 'normal'. There also many examples of instruments being played badly, lyrics not fitting with the music, and so on.
  • Translated Cover Version: He have done a lot of these like:
    • "Slå mig med din rytmpinne" a swedish cover of Ian Dury's "Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick"
    • "När regnet öser ner" a cover of "I'm Singing in the rain" by Gene Kelly
    • "Tunnelmassa" a Finnish cover of In The Mood. That "In The Mood" was instrumental and had no lyrics to translate wasn't a problem.
    • "Et Kai Ymmärrä Minua Väärin" a finnish cover of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood".
    • "Itsy Bitsy" finnish cover of "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polkadot Bikini".
    • "Kuinka Saisin Rikki Kookospähkinän" finnish cover of "I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts".
