Mauri Antero Numminen (born 12 March 1940) is a finnish artist(singer, musician, composer, author, producer, scriptwriter, cinematographer...) mostly known due to his avant-garde underground music and idiosyncratic singing.
His music spans many genres including Blues, Jazz, Rock(psychedelic and Progressive), Tango and Techno.

- Silly Rabbit, Idealism Is for Kids!: "Jag vill inte vara prinsessa" starts with numminen telling that he believed in those fairly tales where the princes get the princess after beating a witch. The stories and dreams changed at "the door to adulthood" and the prince might find the Witch to be more enchanting and that he no longer believe in those fairytales.
- Stage Names: La Kamarado, Ruotsin Kuningas, Viljo Kyttälä, Oriveden Kenkätehdas, Usko Suomalainen, E. Väline, Gommi, M.A. Numminen is some times also shortened to just M.A.N.
- Stylistic Suck: Often uses this. Especially with the singing, like sliding the tone up and down seemingly randomly (but quite artfully), suddenly switching to a falsetto 'scream' and the back to 'normal'. There also many examples of instruments being played badly, lyrics not fitting with the music, and so on.
