Pending Gods

Mortal Kombat Gods:

    Ferra and Torr
Ferra and Torr, Deities of Huge-Tiny Dynamics (Ferra/Torr)
Above: Ferra. Below: Torr.
  • Potential House: Friendship
  • Lesser Deities
  • Symbol: A Red hood-mask with metallic claws arranged in a crossbones pattern.
  • Alignment: True Neutral
  • Portfolio:
  • Domains: Kombat, Symbiosis, Bonds.
  • Allies:
  • Rivals:
  • Enemies:
  • Once upon a time, there was a moment when these pair of symbiotes were captured by a horde of Tarkatas. It was Kotal Kahn the one who freed them and as a result, they were appointed as his personal enforcers.
  • Ferra happens to talk in nonsense and nicknames every deity either by their looks or personalities. She has a list of nicknames for future deities. Torr, on the another hand, is more of an action guy and smashes everyone who crosses paths with them.
    • Due to Ferra's nicknaming, she challenged Taokaka in who nicknames every single deity, and in every house of the Pantheon first. Taokaka got confused, but as a popular meme says: Challenge Accepted!
    • There was one time who Torr actually talked, the word in question is the same one said by Ferra each time they win a match, as exemplified by the following quotes:
      Ferra: Yeah, woohoo! Good boy.
      Torr: Good boy.
  • They are impressed that their big boss Kotal Kahn has joined the Pantheon.
  • While they're not collecting others' eyes, they can be seen playing in many parts of the Pantheon like child's play.
  • One day, during their House travels, they entered to the House of Narrative, where they met Timmy Turner, and Ferra noticed that the kid sounds similar to her. However, calling him "Twerp" infaurates him as it's the very word Timmy's evil babysitter Vicky says to him everyday. Timmy had to wish these two to get out of his temple.
  • They visited the House of Prophecy and they revealed that their future as a duo wouldn't last long. Because they saw that sooner or later, their bond will be broken as a result of Ferra entering the metamorphosis phase and because of that, Torr will eventually pass away. The process would last three Outworld years for Ferra to become a Brute, and a new Pygmy rider would be chosen to take her former place. One could wonder why many cried after saw their future.

Jade, Goddess of the Perfect-Play A.I.
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her Staff and Razorang.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good (Chaotic Evil as a Revenant)
  • Portfolio: Perfect-Play A.I., Being the Bodyguard of Kitana, Staff Wielders, Throwing Her Razorangs, Being Ambiguously Brown (But Not Too Much), Having a Meaningful Name, Attractive Women with Sexy Legs, Can Tresspass Projectiles, Battle Couple with Kotal Kahn, Undying Loyalty.
  • Domains: Kombat, Friendship, Loyalty, Patriotism, Love (shared with Kotal Kahn).
  • Allies:
  • Rivals: Syzoth/Reptile, Ermac.
  • Friendly Rivals with: Kitty Pryde, Chun-Li.
  • Enemies:
  • Ascended at the recommendation of Princess Kitana. When she was a child, her family offered her as a tribute to Shao Kahn after her realm of Edenia is conquered. She and Kitana are closest friends since childhood and both were trained by the emperor as assassins. Due to Kitana's royal status, Shao Kahn appointed her as the bodyguard of the princess until both decided to defect the tyrannical emperor and sided with Lord Raiden and the Forces of Light.
  • For an Edenian, Jade sometimes looks African and sometimes looks Arabian, mostly due to her complicated skin tone's history depending on the timeline.
  • Jade is an expert weapon user, with her reliable staff and razorang as her weapons of preference, making her an effective Kombatant. In addition to that, she can tresspass projectiles at will. Both Donatello and Sokka are impressed with Jade's Kombat skills.
    • She's also the most difficult Kombatant to defeat among Gamers, especially in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, given that each time a Kombatant uses a projectile, she can use her trespasser ability instantly, allowing her to counter each Kombatant's strategies well.
  • Kitty Pryde, trained in Ninjutsu, has heard about Jade's phasing on projectiles and affirms that the Mutant can pass on solid matter. To prove the young girl's theory right, Jade accepts her challenge in the House of Power. After a hard fight, both recognize their phasing skills.
    • A similar rivalry happened with Chun-Li, this time to determinate which kicks are the most faster. While she admits that Chun-Li is indeed the Strongest Woman in the World, the Chinese Street Fighter is impressed at Jade's Kombat skills.
  • Is entirely happy to see Kotal Kahn in the Pantheon. It's revealed that before her death, she and Kotal were lovers. An emotive moment for her past self ocurred in the moment she sees the former Osh-Tekk general turned noble emperor of Outworld again.
    • Through Kitana questioned her relationship with Kotal because of his hard heart and iron fist at first, she still loves him. The moment Kotal attempted to execute an innocent Tarkata in front of her, she proved her friend's point right, but as an optimist, she needs to reconsider Kotal's actions. For her bad luck, a time displaced Shao Kahn oreders his troops to capture Kotal, and subsequently, Skarlet took her as a sacrifice tribute.
    • Fortunately, Kitana, alongside with Liu Kang and Kung Lao (disguised as Outworld troopers) rescues Jade from being sacrificed by Skarlet. After returning to the Koliseum, she helped Kitana to defeat Shao Kahn in the Second Outworld Civil War and at the same time, allowed her friend to rescue Kotal Kahn from being executed. Her actions warmed a crippled Kotal Kahn, who decides to give the throne to Kitana.
  • Back in the Previous Timeline, she defended the ideals of Edenia as a true patriot. This is the reason why she hates evil traitors, if Rain and especially Tanya are an indication. Because of this reason, she gains the friendship of Captain America.
    • Earlier on, during the return of the Dragon King Onaga, she succesfully planned the death of Tanya by lobbing an orb of concentrated Tarkartan pheromones at her, making Baraka and the Tarkarta rip her apart as they thought the backstabbing Edenian was a rival Tarkartan? Well, Tanya hasn't.
  • Despite the fact that she and fellow Kombatant Johnny Cage share the Shadow Kick, they are not in relationship, especially considering that Mr. Cage is Sonya's ex-husband. This fact is lampshaded like the following:
Johnny Cage: "My green magic, your green outfit."
Jade: *laughs* "By the gods, no."
    Johnny Cage: "Your loss, sweetheart."
  • As a fellow bodyguard to a royal figure, she gets well along with Pearl of the Crystal Gems. Because of this, both were sent to the House of Royalty to protect and help the benevolent Gods from harm.
  • Although she wasn't present in the event where the MK and DC worlds collide, Kitana at would at least tell her to be careful around Darkseid.
  • "This will be easy!"

Cetrion, Goddess of Merciless Nature Protectors (Goddess of Virtue)

Geras, God of the Resurrective Immortality
  • Intermediate God

  • Enemies: Jax Briggs, Sonya Blade, Hanzo Hasashi/Scorpion, Kenshi Takahashi, Erron Black, Kano.
  • Opposes: Netherrealm Studios, for treating him as The Chew Toy and Cosmic Plaything.
  • Opposed by: The Mortal Kombat fanbase.
  • Evil Counterpart to: Scrappy-Doo.
  • You think that the most despised Kombatant of all time wouldn't make it to the Pantheon? Behold Hsu Hao, the greatest example of unlikeability in the Mortal Kombat universe. So unlikeable that even the creators hate him!
  • Debuting in the previous timeline during the moment Shang Tsung and Quan Chi joined forces as the Deadly Alliance, he was sent by Mavado of the Red Dragon Clan to infiltrate the Special Forces as an informer, only to betray them instantly, earning the ire of Sonya Blade and Jax Briggs. Needless to say, he had it coming when Jax ripped his cybernetic heart implant!
    • In his short-lived return during the current timeline, he pursued Kenshi for betraying the Red Dragon Clan and almost killed the blind swordsman, only for Scorpion to effortlessly killing him.
    • To make things worse, Erron Black killed him too, complete with his decapitated head falling to the ground.
  • Many Deities in the Houses of Combat, Power and Slaughter like to kick his insufferable butt and dismember his poor excuse of existence as a training dummy.
  • When not in Kombat, he can be seen selling watches in the House of Commerce. Unfortunately, no one brought a single watch… much to his dismay.

Heidern, God of Manly Angst
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: An Eyepatch and a Beret.
  • Theme Song: "Desert Requiem".
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Portfolio: Manly Angst, Eyepatches, Guile Heroes, Fights without Supernatural Powers, Stormbringer, Neck Rolling, Claws Hidden in his Gloves, Stoicness, The Colonel Badass and Mentor of the Ikari Warriors, Serving as the Big Good of the Series.
  • Domains: Combat, Strength, Emotion, Family, War.
  • Allies:
  • Enemies: Rugal Bernstein (for killing his wife and biological daughter), Leopold Goenitz, Original Zero, M. Bison, Johann Schmidt/Red Skull, Glenn Arias, every evil Deity in the House of War.
  • Respects: Ash Crimson (for saving the world after the events of KOF XIII).
  • The commander-in-chief of the Ikari Warriors. Prior to the events of KOF '94, he saw how his wife and daughter were kidnapped and then murdered by Rugal Bernstein in front of him. On the top of that, Rugal took one one of his eyes as well, due to the fact that he was investigating the crime lord's activities too much. Since that day, he swore to eliminate Rugal down. His ascension is a remainder of that even the manliest of the warriors have sad moments.
    • While his hatred against Rugal is what he motivated to compete in the first KOF tournaments, it's Kyo Kusanagi the one who defeated the crime lord. Heidern has nothing to say but thanking the often-absent slacking high schooler for that.
    • Is not pleased to see Rugal in the Pantheon, and this time, his enmity with the crime lord is personal. Fortunately, this enmity doesn't extend to Rugal's mortal children Adelheid and Rose Bernstein.
  • When not participating in The King of Fighters tournaments, as he only participated a few times, he oversees further events as a tactical coordinator behind the scenes.
  • Despite his mysterious demeanor and incredible fighting skills, he's not an alien. As a matter of fact, his gloves hide claws that can slash with precission, and the way he siphons the health of others is merely technological.
  • He's glad to see his adoptive daughter Leona in the Pantheon, and is currently arranging the ascensions of his two trusted soldiers Ralf Jones and Clark Still.
  • Has a good kinship with Nick Fury, as both of them are overseeing commanders with eyepatches. Also, he can sympathize with Batman, due to both of them are unpredictable planners with tragic pasts.
  • Guile once told to him that Rugal has one statue of the Street Fighter in the Blacknoah, and he knows it. Both of them team up to make sure Rugal will not make a replacement.
    • As a matter of fact, he performs joint military operations alongside with Guile, Cammy and the Special Forces, currently led by Sonya Blade in the latter case.
    • It's no stranger to him to hear about the exploits of the Regular Army's best soldiers. The quartet, in response, has a good opinion of him, given that his squadron of the Ikari Warriors co-operated with them.
  • He's very wary of Glenn Arias. While it's true that he sympathizes with the moment Glenn lost the latter's wife in the wedding day, Heidern prefers to not cross the line as the bioterrorist.
  • Frequently visits the House of War due to his seasoned veteran status.

    Clone Zero
Clone Zero, God of Satellites Capable of Nuking Grounds ("Ling")
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: His black coat, surrounded by darkness.
  • Alignment: Lawful Evil
  • Theme Song: "Slasher Zero" or "Dark Gravitation".
  • Portfolio: Impersonating Others After Killing Them, Evil Mustaches, Betraying NESTS for His Own Ambitions, Being a Master of Disguise, Being the owner of the Kill Sat, Absolute Immorality, Overpowered Bosses.
  • Domains: Combat, Treachery, Evil, Manipulation.
  • Allies: Starscream, Yuuki Terumi, Johann Liebert.
  • Enemies: K', Kula Diamond, His own original self, Kyo Kusanagi, Iori Yagami, Terry Bogard and every single Deity inhabiting South Town to an extent.
  • Right after the ascension of his own original self, he outright got irritated that he never got ascended, but he found a way to get a place in the Pantheon. How he got it? Simply: During the events of KOF 2000, he killed Ling, Heidern's closest friend in the military and supplanted him through a doppelgänger that acts as his double with one purpose: create a new world order, not in the name of NESTS, but of himself. His demise in the mortal plane happened when Whip shot him in the forehead.
  • His most powerful weapon is the Zero Cannon, which is used for the destruction of Southtown. To activate it again, he must gather energy from his opponents in combat.
    • Much to his dismay, the city got rebuilt later. Since he's now in the Pantheon, he now swears revenge against every single inhabitant of it.
  • He's also notable for having an elegant moustache that gains the envy of many men in the Pantheon.
  • In his spare time, he happens to play golf and baseball surprisingly in the House of Sports. Don't ask on why he does it.
  • The original Zero is not happy to see him again, mainly for the fact that he betrayed NESTS. The fact that his own original self is loyal to the organization doesn't help at all.

    Benimaru Nikaido
Benimaru Nikaido, God of Flamboyant Heterosexuals
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: One of his Fists performing the Raijinken.

  • Allies: Kyo Kusanagi (his best friend), Shingo Yabuki, Athena Asamiya, Jean Pierre Polnareff, Jefferson Pierce/Black Lightning.
  • Enemies: Rugal Bernstein, Vega.
  • Opposes: Every single Otaku in the Pantheon.

  • As a resident of the House of Love, he's obviously in company of women.
    • At first, many questioned if he's gay or not. He simply says that it's not what you think.
  • He holds a record of winning eight KOF tournaments as an individual: Six times with Team Japan during the first four tournaments, as well in the recent ones in XIII and XIV, one with the team of K' in the tournament of KOF '99 and one with the team of Elisabeth in KOF XI.
  • Having a disdain for nerds, one wonders why he avoids the likes of Gai Ikari, Ryuusei Date and Jeff Albertson.

    Sie Kensou
Sie Kensou, God of Self Proclaimed Love Interests

Krizalid, God of Taking Coats Off in an Epic Way

Saiki, God of Subordinate Mistreatment

  • Domains: Combat, Teaching, Korea.
  • Allies: Kim Kaphwan, Hwoarang (his disciple).
  • Enemies: Heihachi Mishima.
  • Kim Kaphwan used to hold the title in the House of Sports until the Academy is now retooled as the House of Education, and it's time for him to ascend. The two still keep in contact, although Baek still refuses to be an overzealous justice arbiter like Kim; it's just not his style.
  • Is very impressed to see his disciple Hwoarang joining the Pantheon.
