Chaotic Evil in his other forms. - Portfolio: Being the embodiment of a universe's cancer, Going from being a Pencil Pusher to destroying a universe, COMPLETELY derailing the game of Sburb, Omnicidal Maniac, Holding a soft spot for two people in his life, Being an impossible to beat boss, Starter Villain, Wielding a VERY powerful ring, Losing a LOT of importance to the story, until the final fight were he was De Powered, Hating harlequins, Ultimately being an Unwitting Pawn in the end.

- In the game Sburb, one of the cosmos way of reproducing universe, one must pass a very powerful obstacle; the Black Queen. Sburb gives people a way around her however without fighting her; Jack Noir who has serious issues with her. The Trolls played this game and Jack Noir... did his job with no fuss. He isn't the Jack who has ascended here. However, in a rush to beat the game before the time limit hit zero, they skipped a step in creating the new universe, leaving it short of some vital genetics needed to be healthy. The universe got cancer, and would become the universe John Egbert and his friends would live in. And they were about to start up a whole new Sburb session of their own...
- Due to this new game of Sburb having players from a cancerous universe, the fate of the Jack Noir in the session would be quite different from the others. He would both be put into a situation that eventually drove him berserk, and be given a way to dispatch the Black Queen before the players could even meet her. He then stole the Queen's Ring, the source of her power, and went on a slaughterous rampage throughout Sburb. Then things got even worse.
- One of the rings main abilities is to give the wearer attributes of what the the Sburb players Prototype (essentially turn into their Exposition Fairy for the game) Jack Noir was tough enough to fight with the attributes of the Prototyped Harlequinn doll, the Crow impaled with a sword and the dual prototyping of cat and Cthulhu-like doll. But the fourth Player's prototyping was her dog, Becquerel - who was also a First Guardian. With that fourth prototyping, Jack Noir gained the nigh limitless power of the Green Sun and became completely unstoppable. The Sburb session had become so hopeless that the only way to continue was to reset it - and everything in it.
- Unfortunately, he was able to escape the reset and head into the Troll's Sburb session with a transporter, deny them entrance to the universe they created, and wreak havoc in their session. Then, when there was no obstacles left in his way. he then turned to the universe the Trolls created, the Universe whose cancer he was the embodiment of, and destroyed it. After that... A survivor of his rampage found the counterpart to his ring (The White Queen's Ring) traveled to his location with the same transporter and chased him down in the Furthest Ring for THREE YEARS before cutting off the arm holding his ring, rendering him a threat no longer. The rings were then melted in a volcano, ending the danger they posed for good.
- These days, now that he no longer has his all-powerful ring, Jack usually spends his time trying to collect a Mobster gang and trying turn as much of Pantheon as he can into his own territory. He's... really not much of a threat. And while he definitely isn't a good person, or very merciful, he is no longer the mass murdering lunatic he once was now that the cancer he was the embodiment of has done it's job. He is willing to help the good guys, if he has to or will benefit from it. One of the the best ways to get him to do something for you is to bribe him with Black Licorice Scottie Dogs. (Yes, these are actually a real thing.)
- Some People have wondered why his Bec Noir form was labeled an Overdiety when Doc Scratch is a Greater God, (Albeit a very powerful one.) when they both use the same power source (the Green Sun). Doc Scratch explained the key reasons; first, the ring Jack used was already the power source of a powerful boss before it got the boost from the First Guardian powers. Second, the ring came with a built in attack that Jack Noir could actually pour his First Guardian power into; Red Miles, where the ring spouts a massive bunch of red energy tendrils that would multiply, burn, rip, tear and devastate everything. This is the attack he used to destroy the universe when he gained his First Guardian powers. Also, he has a sword; you would be surprised how much that helps.
- Jack despises all clowns and especially harlequins, as being forced to wear multiple Harlequin outfits over, and over and over, was the catalyst for for him snapping and going on a rampage. Some have tried to use this fact to point him toward the Joker, but it doesn't work very often since he usually ignores him to go after Harley Quinn instead, since they are usually together and harlequins take priority on his stabbing list.
- The Grand United Alliance of Destruction is interested in hiring him, but he doesn't want to get involved with a bunch of lunatics that would probably get him killed in the end. They claimed that they could probably replicate the ring that gave him his incredible powers, but he turned them down hard; that ring got him chased through the Furthest Ring for three years by a vengeful mailwoman which ended with his arm getting cut off. He wants nothing to do with it.
- He has had soft spots for two people in his life. the first was Jade Harley, a friend of John Egbert. This is because the First Gaurdian, Becquerel, he once copied his powers from was also Jade's pet, meaning Jack also inherited Becquerel's dog-like loyalty toward her. It is unknown how Jack feels about her now that he no longer has those powers.
- The second person he ever cared for is Ms. Paint, Andrew Hussie's assistant. In fact, having a crush on Ms. Paint seems to be normal for every Jack Noir that exists, since the Troll's version of Jack also fell in love with her as well. He sometimes visits her in Andrew Hussie's temple.
- To this day, he still doesn't know that his rampage as Bec Noir was all orchestrated by one of Doc Scratch's incarnations, as the universe he destroyed was one of the two universes Doc Scratch used to fuel the creation of the Green Sun, and arriving at the Trolls Suburb game would allow a meteor to bring Lil Cal (Who he was holding onto) to Alternia so that he and Lord English would be born and summoned.
- John was't happy to see that Jack Noir had arrived at the pantheon, since he was responsible for killing John's Dad. Dirk is a bit... iffy. While Jack did kill his Pre-Scratch counterpart, Bro Strider, Dirk doesn't have that high of an opinion of him anyway. Either way, they are both prepared to stop him if he gets any funny ideas.

- Alignment: True Neutral. However New information revealed that Doc Scratch can influence it's wielder if he knows someone is using it. He doesn't do this often though.
- Domain: Prophetic Orbs
- Portfolio: Orbs that answers ANY question, Awesome, but Impractical, Kryptonite Factor
- The Magic Cue Ball is a cue ball that will answer any question, not matter how obscure the answer is. The only problem is that unlike a Magic 8-Ball, there is no portal to see the answers inside the orb.
- So far, known ways to use the orb is to have special eyes like Hinata, use an X-Ray, or have have a connection to the Sburb aspect of Light like Vriska.
- Doc Scratch created the Cue Ball, so that it's blueprint would be one of the basis to create his younger self. It's ability to answer any question was bolstered by his First Guardian genetics to give him Nigh Omnipotence.
- Due to The Magic Cue Ball's origins being based on the pendulum of Lord English's broken God-Tier Clock, any weapons related to it will have the ability to kill him.
- While the powers required to use the Magic Cue Ball are a bit rare in the Pantheon, X-rays are not. And anyone who can't use it could simply ask for the help of someone who could. Therefore it is used occasionally to answer important questions that people have. Doc Scratch really doesn't mind people using it now and again but he has warned if they try to use it to craft weapons to kill his master, Lord English, he WILL know, and he will detonate the Orb while it is in their hands, hurting them greatly. And since Lord English is destined to be summoned in Alternia later in his life, killing him in the Pantheon wouldn't work anyway.
- As for weapons that already exist one is Doc Scratch's pistol, the Duedly Firearm and the other is Dave Strider's sword Caledfwlch. However, While Doc Scratch's pistol is in the pantheon, it's not armed with any bullets.
- Spongebob and Patrick saw the cue ball once and thought that Doc Scratch had stolen Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy's Orb of Confusion for evil uses. They calmed down when Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy proved that they still had the Orb.
- They eventually figured out the the Magic Cue Ball is supposed to do, and Spongebob challenged a deity using the Cue Ball by using the Magic Conch. The Orb gave some simple and effective instructions on how to beat the challenge. The Magic Conch told Spongebob to do nothing. They somehow ended up tying, and even Doc Scratch has given up on trying to figure out how it happened.
- It was revealed in the Homestuck Physical books that when Rose became Grimdark, it wasn't due to getting an incomprehensible answer about the Horrorterrors. Doc Scratch did that himself. Therefore, security for the Orb has been tightened so that more vulnerable people can't use them.
- It's also revealed that if you crack one in half and use it as a bowl, Doc Scratch can fill it with an infinite snack of his choice. So... that's something. It's not known what else he can with these things.
