, Role Play chronicles the events of characters from a variety of series all crammed together into a Danganronpa-style killing game for the majority of variations.Currently it's main line series is in it's third incarnation, 2.1, which features two distinct variants in Pokemon style version differences called Alpha and Omega.
The sub-series Run details characters Wacky Racing across America.
This series provides examples of the following:
- Alpha Bitch: Plenty of characters have jockeyed for this position through out all the games.
- Always Murder: It's sort of the point.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Thanks to their source material multiple characters have these, even if they are vastly more comedic versions of themselves.
- Early Installment Weirdness: The start of Role Play 1's prologue, not only is it radically different to the start of the later games, it barely fits in with the rest of Role Play 1.
- Loads and Loads of Characters: Role Play 2 boasted a cast of 31, which is one more than both of 2.1's casts combined.
- Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies: Role Play 2's eventual fate.
- Tastes Like Friendship: Alton Brown automatically wins over the characters who don't immediately recognize him by feeding them.
