Haven City
is a forum based around a large, urban city. Drawing thematically from Anime & Manga, especially of the Seinen and Josei variety. It's a fun forum dedicated to telling the story of people whom wind up in a new City of Adventure after opening a mysterious Portal Door. These people are offered a Reset Button for their life .
The forum has a broad central concept that allows the telling of many kinds of stories. You can be anything from a evil wizard to a scheming corrupt official to a silly hero. Whatever you desire. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join. We'd be honored to have you. There is no 'test' for entry, because everyone is welcome! Please, come and tell us your story!
This site provides examples of:
- Alternate Universe: Another Haven. Due to its nature, it doubles as a Dark World.
- Anime Hair: Due to the fact that this is an Ani Manga RP, there are examples of this.
- Asian Fox Spirit: There are a few of these.
- Beach Episode: Haven Beach.
- City of Adventure: The whole town is drawn in to the insanity seeping out from Nurikabe Estate. As such everything gets a bit.. intense.
- Crush Blush: Considering this place has a lot of relationships, seeing a few of these isn't too few or far between in terms of romances or potential couples.
- Damn, It Feels Good to Be a Gangster!: There are a lot of gangsters here.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Most of the people who came into Nurikabe have this.
- A Day in the Limelight: The Spotlight in the home page, off-game. It is used for users, shippings and characters alike.
- Festival Episode: Some events.
- Gangster Land: Whether it be the Yakuza of Japan or the Triads of China, there are many gangsters and gangs in this city to be found.
- Hot Springs Episode: Within Mt. Saruyama, there are the Saruyama Hot Springs. Any RP there that includes a dip in the hot springs can be considered this.
- Neighbourhood-Friendly Gangsters: One gang, Bakuto, can be considered this under certain leadership.
- Our Vampires Are Different: There are at least three different kinds of vampires in Haven City. From species to the Undead. They do not share a strict lore.
- Portal Door: Characters end up in a new City of Adventure after opening a mysterious door.
- Quirky Town: Mostly self-explanatory; this city houses Nurikabe Estate, the Door and seems to attract all walks of life and nationality. Most including those with strange powers.

Shipping: This happens very often. - Shrines and Temples: Kohaku Inari Shrine within the Iwate Forest falls under this category. The shrine is dedicated to the god Inari and the entrance is marked by a red Torii.
- Suddenly Significant City: For such a large city with international citizens and being known throughout the world, it was only established within the past Century.
- The Triads and the Tongs: While outside Haven City and Japan, there are plenty of Triad members and Roleplays that take place mostly in Hong Kong.
- Tokyo Is the Center of the Universe: Not Tokyo, but very similar to Tokyo. Also resides in Japan.
- Urban Fantasy: You can find anything and anyone here. Angels, Demi-Gods, Ghouls, Demons, Ghosts, Assassins, Vampires, Wizards and creatures of all sorts of mythology. Just to name a few.
- Valentine's Day Episodes: Happens around Valentine's Day.
- Yakuza: There are plenty here.
