Far From Home is a roleplay by Flameal15k, and is a Massively Multiplayer Crossover set in the same universe as two of his other stories, Conquest in the Name of Advancement! and Prehistoric Park: Returned from Extinction.
While trying to help stop the Shadow Carja from awakening the FARO Plague and destroying the world, Commander Flameal15k is attacked by a machine belonging to an unknown group, resulting in him being sent across the multiverse. Said machine promptly lays siege to his 'hub' universe, teleporting in beings from other universes as a way of distracting the hub's defenders. This is their story.

Unmarked Spoilers For Events Up To Arc 7 of Conquest In The Name Of Advancement
- Four Lines, All Waiting: None of the players in the RP have met yet, so all of their actions are happening simultaneously at different locations, which can lead to some confusion at times regarding who is who.
- Meaningful Name: Among the planets shown so far in the setting is Fimbulvinter, a Slippy-Slidey Ice World named after the extremely long winter that will herald the coming of Ragnarok in Norse Mythology.
- Science Fantasy: One of the players is a Cyborg, another is a Demon, and the others come from all kinds of places. This trope is in full effect.
- Self-Insert Fic: To a much further level than normal - at least two of the player characters for the RP are Self Inserts, in addition to their 'host' also being one.
- Slippy-Slidey Ice World: Planet Fimbulvinter is characterized as being almost completely covered in ice, with all the scenes happening on it so far featuring battles involving snow and ice.
