Now in college, Julia - along with Eli, her boyfriend Quinn Mallory, Raylan Givens, Roxanne Parks, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer - are hunted by a new Ghostface, who this time is played by Raylan himself and Shaggy's mother Jackie Harris, out for revenge against Julia.

- Scream 4: Ten years later, Annie Griffin and Aria Montgomery are offed at the start of a film watched by Sookie Stackhouse, who then gets offed by Veronica Mars at the start of a film which is being watched by Julie Taylor and Lux Cassidy, who just before Julia returns to Woodsboro become victims of a brand new Ghostface intent on tormenting her, Claire Bennet, Julia's niece Addie Singer, Annie Edison, and the rest of the town (with Dale Turner and Morgan Hess as film geeks, and Dakota Block, Seth Cohen, and Mahalik as cops). And this time Ghostface is played by famewhore Addie and deluded Morgan.
- Scream (2022): Ten years later, Princess Isabel is attacked by Ghostface, whom her sister Vanessa believes is hunting her because she's the secret daughter of Jake Green. Vanessa's boyfriend Brad Boimler and her friends Blizzard, Taissa Turner, Max Fox and Andrew seek the aid of Mr. Jimmy, later joined by Julia and Monica. Ghostface turns out to be deluded fans Brad and Max, who were incensed by the Rian Johnson-directed eighth installment of a popular franchise and want to bring things "back to basics".
- Scrooge (1951): Miss Fritton is a mean miser, until the ghost of her former business partner, the King of Euphrania, and three other spirits pay a visit. One of the spirits shows a vision of the past, when Fritton was Flash Harry and the King was John Steed, which includes the death of Fritton's sister Lucy Holmwood, while the other two show visions of the present and future that feature the put-upon clerk Walter Craig, his wife Ellen, and their children.

- The Sting II: Ralph Kramden comes up with a scheme to con Det. Lt. Mike Stone out of a fortune. Pulling strings behind the scenes (or so he thinks) is Proximo. Joining Ralph in the con is Inga. Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and Willie Tanner also show up.
- Stone: Tyler Durden gets his wife, Leeloo Dallas Multipass, to romance his emotionally fettered parole officer "Ace" Rothstein.
- Strange Days: Lord Voldemort is a Los Angeles police officer just before the Turn of the Millennium who comes into possession of a recording that puts his life and career at risk.
- Stranger Than Fiction: P.L. Travers narrates the life of Ron Burgundy, who thinks his life is so delusional about being killed by her that he goes to psychiatrist Ben Braddock for help. Also features Buster Bluth.
- Straw Dogs: Mr. Focker is menaced by various creepy locals.
- 2011 remake: Cyclops and his wife Lois Lane are menaced by Eric Northman and Lester.
- Street Fighter: This video game adaption features Fake American Col. Master Croc against evil dictator Gomez Addams. Croc's allies include Lieutenant Charlene Robinson and reporter Mulan. Leatherface 2003 is the Dumb Muscle.
- Street Kings: Detective Neo works for Idi Amin while being investigated by House because his former partner President Camacho was killed in a robbery gone wrong. Captain America helps.
- Streets of Fire: When Martha Kent is kidnapped by Vulko, Tony Villicana and Annie Kinsella are hired by Wayne Szalinski to recover her. Also featuring Bill Henrickson as a bartender and Tommy Pickles as Martha's roommate.
- Stripes: Peter Venkman and Egon Spengler enlist in the army, where they meet fellow recruits Buck Russell and Billy Rosewood while they're getting trained by Sgt. Sam Wood.
- Stuart Little: Marty McFly is adopted by Thelma and Dr. House. Ray Boyd doesn't welcome him at first and Timon, Runt of the Litter and Sonny want to get rid of him. Also starring Principal Rooney, Lou Loomis, and Sophia Petrillo as various members of Thelma & House's family, Ed Furillo and Celia as Marty's false parents, and Pete Puma as the announcer of a local boat race, among others.
- Stuber: Plimpton is an awkward guy who works as an Uber driver. One day, he picks up a no-nonsense detective named Tong Po, who's on the lookout for Yuda, a ruthless drug lord. Plimpton ends up going on a wild ride where he needs to work with his tough passenger while keeping that high customer service rating of his.
- Marvel Cinematic Universe version: Kingo is an Uber driver and picks up Drax and Drax's partner Nebula was murdered.
- Suburban Commando: Rip is an intergalactic soldier who is forced to go to Earth and ends up in the home of Emmett L. Brown and Olive Oyl.
- Sucker Punch: Violet Baudelaire is thrown into a Bedlam House where she escapes into action-filled fantasies along with an owl, a Catholic school outcast, a nerdy songstress, and a demon's daughter. Also starring an ad man and an aging superheroine.
- Sudden Death: Guile works as a fire marshall during a hockey game which gets held hostage by a group of terrorists led by Gorilla Grodd.
- Suffragette: Daisy and "The Devil" want women to vote in England.
- Suicide Kings: Max Zorin is kidnapped by Elliot, Young Indiana Jones, Cyrus Lupo, and Leonard Hofstrader. Captain George Stacy is Zorin's right-hand man.
- Sully: Captain Phillips (or if you prefer, Woody) lands a passenger plane in the Hudson River.
- Summer Rental: Stressed-out air traffic controller Del Griffith tries to go on a calming beach vacation with his family, including wife Lana Wagner and eldest daughter Andy Carmichael, but after unwittingly making enemies with Colonel Samuel R. "Sam" Trautman, he teams up with Zed, Captain Stillman, and Admiral Owen Paris to defeat him.
- Superbad: Schmidt and Scott Pilgrim want to go to a party hosted by Gwen Stacy, but need to bring beer first. Meanwhile, their friend Fishlegs befriends cops Flint Lockwood and Ben Stone.
- Superman: The Movie: Don Vito Corleone of Krypton launches his infant son away from the dying planet, to grow up on Earth where he is raised by Johnny Farrell and Ellen Lawson. The son grows up into Richard Collier, who has superhuman powers and can fly. Richard falls in love with newspaper reporter Gaia, befriends Dave McFly, and stops the evil Popeye Doyle and Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear from blowing up the West Coast.

- Superman III: Richard heads to his hometown and reconnects with his old flame Beverly Marsh, while genius computer programmer Wally Karue is roped into helping the corrupt Napoleon Solo commit crimes.

- Superman Returns: Richard, now Todd Ingram, must stop Popeye, now Lester Burnam, from creating a new continent out of kryptonite while dealing with the fact that his girlfriend Gaia, now Anne, hooked up with Cyclops.
- Super Mario Bros. (1993): Eddie Valiant and Sid the Sloth are plumbers who must stop Howard Payne from merging his dimension with theirs. Aunt Petunia shows up somewhere, Crysta is an archeologist that Sid falls in love with, and Goddard is Howard's pet dinosaur.
- Surrogates: A murderer forces a city's population, including Det. John McClane, out of their self-imposed Uncanny Valley-Ridiculously Human Robots-effectively Immortal-bodies.
- Surviving Christmas: Bruce Wayne stays in his childhood home which has since been inhabited by Tony Soprano, Delia Deetz, and Kelly Bundy.
- Sushi Girl: Upon his release from prison, Atreyu is brought to a restaurant by his old associate, The Candyman, to celebrate his newfound freedom. The chef is Hattori Hanzo. Joining in the fun is Luke Skywalker, Miguel, Kurt, Frank Lapidus and Kyle Reese.
- Suspect Zero: Two-Face tracks the Mandarin.
- Swamp Thing: Leland Palmer is studying plants, but after his research facility is attacked by Kamal Khan and Krug, he is turned into a monster. Wilma tries to notify the authorities on the matter.

- Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street: Captain Jack Sparrow is a deranged barber who kills people after failing to kill Severus Snape (and his sidekick Peter Pettigrew), who has a Wife Husbandry plan for Scissorhands' daughter Meg, but she and Marcus are planning to run off with each other; Bellatrix Lestrange bakes the victims into pies out of a strange devotion to him. Borat makes an appearance, and even Giles shows up briefly (he would've had a larger role if Tim Burton liked musicals).
- Showtime TV movie version (where Sweeney is combined with Pirelli and Judge Turpin): The Mandarin and The Fairy Godmother have a profitable partnership which starts to unravel after "The Man Darrin" kills a rich merchant.
- BBC TV movie version: Beowulf "did it because [he] could, and then [he] couldn't... stop."
- Sweetheart: Iris West is friends with Jervis Tetch aka the Mad Hatter.
- Swiss Army Man: Billy Sunday goes camping with Harry Potter, who has become a farting zombie.
- The Switch (formerly The Baster): Eternally friendzoned Manchild Michael Bluth switches Rachel Green's supply of Nite Owl II's baby-making material with his own, then meets his remarkably similar yet infinitely more mature son seven years later. With Brundlefly and Mallory Knox as George and Rachel's respective friends.
- Switching Channels: In this remake of The Front Page, newsanchor Jessica Rabbit meets and falls in love with Superman while on a much-needed vacation, and decides to quit the news business. Her boss/ex-husband Bandit doesn't want to let her go, so he and his assistant Superman wheel and deal to persuade her to stay. Bandit has her interview convicted killer Wilbur the Pig, hoping to get him a pardon from the governor who's up for reelection. But running against the governor is DA Lots o'Huggin' Bear, who'll do anything to get Wilbur into the electric chair. A fun time is had by all (even though behind-the-scenes fighting between Jessica and Bandit made this a notoriously Troubled Production).
- Swordfish: Howard Saint and Storm recruit hacker Wolverine, fresh out of prison, to steal $9 billion from the DEA. FBI agent War Machine is seeking to arrest Wolverine again.
