  • Off the Mark: Waldo (with his feet in a bucket of cement) appears in this strip, having been found by Dory.
  • Waldo makes a background cameo in a Lanfeust comic.
  • Retail: After losing the Halloween costume contest so many times because he dressed up as characters from obscure media, Cooper decided to dress up as Waldo to stand a better chance of winning. He notes, with some irony, that the costume makes it easier for Stuart to find him. Craig ended up winning, but Marla bribed him ten bucks to let her say Cooper won. Cooper immediately lorded it over everyone.

  • Slug Days Stories: In Slug Days, Lauren's therapist lets her look at Where's Waldo for an extra ten minutes as a reward for listening so well.

  • The Big Bang Theory: As part of the Battle of the Sexes between Leonard, Sheldon and their girlfriends in "The Re-Entry Minimization", Amy and Leonard try to find Waldo without their glasses. Sheldon berates Leonard for losing.
    Sheldon: How could you not find him!?
    Leonard: Because he's hard to find! If he was easy to find, the books would be called "There's Waldo"!
  • Frasier: When the Cranes throw a costume party where guests have to dress up as their favorite characters from literature, "Bulldog" Briscoe comes dressed as Waldo.
  • One Married... with Children episode has Kelly reading the book and attempting to locate Waldo in real life. Amazingly, she does by the end of it.

Video Games

  • Fleeing the Complex has a hidden stick figure named "Waldorf" based on Waldo.
  • Both endings of Grow Valley contain a hidden Onky wearing Wally's iconic outfit.

  • In the Helluva Boss episode "Loo Loo Land", there is an imp dressed as Wally.
  • In the Minilife TV episode "A Dark Night", Michael comes to the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises dressed as Waldo (minus the glasses, which he couldn't find) because he didn't have any Batman costumes.

  • SCP Foundation: SCP-4885 is a Humanoid Abomination taking the form of Wally. Whoever gains the knowledge of its current location, it will travel to that person to murder them. After their death the carcass gets covered in yellow gunge that gives way to Where's Wally? illustrations coating their skin.

  • The Angry Video Game Nerd: In Part One of his "Wish List" video, the Nerd reviewed the Where's Waldo? Licensed Game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
  • In the "Board James" episode Shark Attack, Bad Luck Bootsy wears a swimming outfit with Waldo's colours. Mike tells him to go high, while calling him "Waldo" in reference to Bootsy's red and white stripes. Bootsy is not amused at this.
  • Console Wars: In one episode, Pat and Dan see whether the SNES or the Sega Genesis had the worse version of The Great Waldo Search.
  • In the Star Wars special Joueur du Grenier episode, one of the Rebel pilots at the end of the episode is dressed as Wally and uses the code name "Charlie". Charlie is Wally's French name.

Western Animation

  • Family Guy: In "Saving Private Brian", as part of completing his military training, Brian has to complete an obstacle course where one of the assignments involves a Where's Waldo book.
  • Garfield and Friends: In "A Vacation From His Senses", Garfield shows the viewers a slideshow of the last vacation Jon took him on. When he shows a picture of a beach full of people, he remarks "Every time I look at this shot, I get the urge to find Waldo."
  • The Simpsons:
    • In "Treehouse of Horror III", Bart reads a book called "Find Waldo Yet Again", which has him clearly spotted standing on a beach and for Bart to quip how they're not trying anymore.
    • In "Bart's Comet", Waldo briefly appears as one of the people in Flanders' bomb shelter.
    • In "Hello Gutter, Hello Faddah", Homer dismisses kissing Maggie before heading to work claiming that he has no time, but he does pick up a book trying to locate him and bemoan, "This would be so much easier without all these people around!"
  • Tiny Toon Adventures: The gag credit for "Take Elmyra Please" is "Hey, kids! - Did you spot Waldo?", likely alluding to a scene in the episode where Elmyra's imaginary friend Mr. Skullhead can be seen in a large crowd of people similar to Waldo.
