- The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. While out in the van searching for the Were-Rabbit Gromit turns on the radio, which plays a couple bars of "Bright Eyes" before Gromit rolls his eyes and turns it off.
- Dorothea from 20th Century Women read the book and was inspired by it to make little wooden rabbit sculptures.
- In Peter Rabbit, Peter's injured face looks a lot like one of the injured rabbits from the film.
- In When My Heart Joins the Thousand, Watership Down is Alvie's favorite book. Her online handle, ThousandEnemies, comes from the line "All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you."
