- In The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark, Dooley at one point borrows Guybrush's penchant of examining an object and proclaiming it to be the second biggest (whatever) he's ever seen.
- In the first Ecoquest game, Adam asks a pirate skeleton, "Are you by any chance related to a guy named LeChuck?" The skeleton doesn't answer.
- The titular hero of Pirate Hunter is modelled directly after Guybrush, right down to his brown vest and blonde ponytail.
- In Sea of Thieves, there is a whole location
dedicated to Monkey Island. Five journals, scattered across Sea Monkey ship, are hinting that Threepwood may be in Sea of Thieves. - Virtua Verse has a scene where Nathan has to dig up a bone. After he's done, he muses that at least his pants didn't fall down like Guybrush's did when he dug up Largo's grandfather.
