- One of the mini-shorts for Nickelodeon's Nickmas promotion was a parody titled Patrick the Snowman, featuring Patrick Star as Frosty, Nigel Thornberry as the narrator, and the cast of Jimmy Neutron as the kids. In a bit of a coincidence, Bill Fagerbakke, the voice of Patrick, would go on to voice Frosty himself in The Legend of Frosty the Snowman.

- Once Upon a Studio: At one point, Timon calls Olaf "Frosty".
- The Big Bang Theory: In "The Maternal Congruence", Leonard tells Penny that whenever they watch Frosty the Snowman, Sheldon always roots for the Sun. Sheldon retaliates by saying that the Sun is essential for all life on Earth, whereas Frosty is merely a bit of frozen, supernatural ephemera in a stolen hat. A crime, by the way, for which he is never brought to account.

- In the same vein as The Joker singing "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells", Dr. Eggman (voiced by Mike Pollock) from Sonic the Hedgehog sings about his titular hated nemesis to the tune of Frosty the Snowman. You can hear the song here.
- In Fleeing The Complex, if Henry tries to escape the Wall by disguising himself as a snowman, one guard will panic and shoot at Henry while shouting "Frosty is escaping!".
- The Nostalgia Critic: In his review of Jack Frost (1998), the Critic calls the titular "Frosty T. Blowman" and "Freaky the Snowman".

- In "I Love Lisa", an old episode of The Krusty the Clown Show has Krusty asking Robert Frost, "Hey, Frosty! How'd you like some snow, man?".
- In the Christmas-theme openings for "Gone Boy" and "'Tis the 30th Season", Groundskeeper Willie brings Frosty to life with a magic hat, only for Bart to plow through him on a snowboard.
- South Park:
- In "Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls", when Mr. Hankey apparently dies, a Durante-esque voice sings a sad rendition of his theme song, similar to when Frosty melted.
- In "Brittney's New Look", Kyle tries to save Britney Spears from the paparazzi by taking her on a train bound for the North Pole. One scene even features a Durante-esque narrator.
- SpongeBob SquarePants: In "Pre-Hibernation Week", two kids build a sandman and try singing "that song" to bring it to life. At that moment, SpongeBob speeds through it while doing some extreme boarding, resulting in him wearing the sandman over him as he boards.Kid: Maybe we didn't sing it right.
- Teen Titans Go!:
- In "Second Christmas", Cyborg brings a snowman to life by putting his head on it.
- "Pepo the Pumpkinman" is a Whole-Plot Reference to the TV special.
