  • Adventures In Fantasy.
    • Ifreet are the giant devils of the Jinn race. They have a strong hatred for humans because they believe humans are responsible for the fall of the Jinn. They never forgive humanity for that and never miss a chance to gain revenge. They have flaming red eyes.
    • Tigbanua are a type of Buso demon. They eat dead human flesh, and never miss an opportunity to change live humans into dead humans so they can fill their bellies. Each of them has a single red eye.
    • Vampires are undead corpses posessed by a demonic spirit. They exist only to attack human beings and drain their blood. When a vampire's bloodlust is sated, it has red Glowing Eyes.

    • All the Worlds' Monsters I:
      • The Chaotic Evil Coachman of Death and his horse have glowing red eyes.
      • The Lesser Demon has glowing red eyes.
      • The Night Hound, which hunts down and kills all Lawful beings, has red eyes.
      • The Evil undead Lemure monster has glowing red eyes.
      • The powerful and dangerous Three Horsemen of Doom all have flame red eyes.
    • All the Worlds' Monsters III:
      • The Flame Devil is a Chaotic (Chaotic Evil) demon that looks like a jet black Dungeons & Dragons kobold with red eyes.
      • The Frost Horror is an elephant-sized white dragon with red eyes and a fiery Breath Weapon.
      • The Hell Sprite is a short two-legged Chaotic (Chaotic Evil) monster with two glowing red eyes.
  • Arduin
    • Arduin Grimoire. Deodanths are black 6-7 foot tall humanoids with flaming red eyes. They can rip an ordinary human being to pieces in seconds.
    • Arduin Grimoire Volume 6: House of the Rising Sun. The Old God named Molodahr has smoldering scarlet eyes and is truly vile and evil, being a deity of the evil goblin races (including orcs) and trolls.
    • Arduin Dungeon #2 The Howling Tower has a deadly steel tiger monster with red eyes.
    • The Compleat Arduin Book 2: Resources:
      • Night Demons are cruel, untrustworthy and are devoted to killing all non-demonic creatures. Their eyes are like blazing pools of scarlet flame.
      • The Greater Demon Abbadon has a single ruby red eye that shines like the light of an oncoming train. He is the Locust Lord of Hell and demands the sacrifice of 13 intelligent beings in return for providing the services of his Demon Locusts.
      • The Greater Demon Arioch Death Tongue is a Lord of Hell with a single glowing eye that looks like a faceted ruby. He is summoned by anyone who wants help with assassination and other forms of murder.
      • The Greater Demon Gorog-Nor, the Hungry One, has 9 saucer-shaped red eyes and lives on the 11th Plane of Hell. He can mimic the voices of creatures he eats: he uses this ability to lure the victim's friends to him so he can devour them as well.
      • The Greater Demon Tyl-Rhaen the Hound of Doom is a six legged monster with a venomous bite. Once on the trail it is a Super-Persistent Predator, able to track its victim without fail regardless of anything. It never gets tired, never gives up and always tracks down its prey.
      • The Drich undead has glowing dull red eyes. They are evil beings that survive by drinking the blood and eating the hearts of living, sentient beings during a horrible ritual. Each victim sustains them for a week, so they spend all their time hunting down new ones.
      • The Fury is a red-eyed gargoyle/harpy hybrid that hates all other creatures and viciously attacks without any real reason. They are untrustworthy, have vile habits and no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
      • The eyes of Hellhounds are "red lanterns glowing like the very gates of Hell". They live on the Tenth Plane of Hell, are utterly without fear and relentlessly attack other creatures.
      • The Ibathene is a giant reptile (up to 400 feet long) with a tongue up to 40 feet long and a huge red eye on an eyestalk. Its victims are dragged to its mouth by its tongue and Swallowed Whole.
      • Madwings are an insanely chaotic type of Faerie with red eyes that cruelly torture and slay any creatures that enter their domain.
      • Morghuuls are a type of undead with blood red eyes and their touch causes paralysis and rot.
      • The Quarl is a feline as large as a tiger, with a blazing red cycloptic eye and incredibly keen senses of smell and hearing. It is vicious, cunning and totally without fear, as well as being a Super-Persistent Predator that stalks its prey for days.
      • Red Wraiths are soulless undead skeletons that were once priests of the dreaded Elder Gods. These abominations are evil incarnate, consort with demons and other foul things and exist only to destroy. They have dancing red-black flames for eyes.
      • Spectres are former evil mages or priests who made pacts with demons for eternal life. They have red fire where their eyes should be.
      • Spiga are spiders that can grow as large as a school bus, have glowing ruby red eyes, are highly intelligent and can use magik. They come from the 4th Plane of Hell and are faithful followers of the evil god Shaggrath the Red Moon Spyder.
      • Star Dragon eyes are described as twin suns of crimson raging flames.
      • Star Spiders are about ugly creatures with long Combat Tentacles that constrict their victims. Opponents that are sucked or pulled into their mouths are destroyed by heat and radiation, which also consumes the victim's soul. They have a single glaring red eye like the headlamp of a giant train.
      • The Vampyre is a powerful undead, the Arduin version of Our Vampires Are Different, with eyes that become blazing red when it's angry.
      • The Windego is a tornado-like creature from the 18th plane of Hell that grows up to 300 feet tall with two glowing dull red eyes.
      • Wobra are green bat-winged cobras with ruby red eyes. Their bite injects a deadly venom that they can also Super Spit up to 30 feet away. They flock like birds and go into a shark-like feeding frenzy when they smell blood.
      • Yellow Dragons have a Breath Weapon of deadly nerve gas that either kills or incapacitates victims. The gas also temporarily blinds any creature in it as well as having a chance for the blinding to be permanent. Their eyes are a bright ruby red.
      • Yeti are large carnivorous humanoids with blazing crimson eyes.
  • Ars Magica
    • Lion of the North supplement. Brude Deathless, the oldest and most powerful gruagachan in all Scotland, has a terrible temper and loves to put curses on anyone who annoys him. His eyes turn red when he gets angry.
    • Tales of the Dark Ages supplement, adventure "Copse of Skulls". The Norke are monsters which reject compassion and morality and engage in deliberate cruelty, inflicting pain and death. They have the brilliant red eyes of fiends from Hell.
  • Atlantis The Lost World: Wraiths (based on J. R. R. Tolkien's Ringwraiths/Nazgûl) have two glowing red eyes that are hidden in shadow. Bat Horins are lesser devils whose eyes radiate an eerie crimson luminescence.
  • Blood of Heroes: Both the supervillain Lord Bane and his horse Hell's Mount have glowing red eyes.
  • Call of Cthulhu
    • Evil deities with red eyes: Atlach-Nacha (Great Old One), the Haunter of the Dark (avatar of Nyarlathotep), Ithaqua.
    • Evil monsters with red eyes: Black Unicorn of Averoigne (Worlds of Cthulhu #3, "Dark Ages Averoigne"), Bunyip (Terror Australis), ghouls (glowing red, Shadows of Yog-Sothoth adventure "The Warren"), Necromantic Skeleton (The Asylum and Other Tales - "Black Devil Mountain"), Proto-Shoggoth (The Asylum and Other Tales, "The Asylum"), rats (Masks of Nyarlathotep - Kenya section), Spectral Hunters, The Thing from Between the Planes (The Fungi from Yuggoth), Undead Sorceress (Dreamlands adventure "Pickman's Student"), Werewolves (Worlds of Cthulhu magazine #3, adventure "Malevolence").
    • Supplement Dark Designs, adventure "The Menace from Sumatra". The evil Vibur (AKA The Thing from Beyond) has three triple lobed burning red eyes.
  • Carcosa: Weird Science-Fantasy Horror Setting: In hex 0814 is a Spawn of Shub-Niggurath of Chaotic alignment (worships and serves the extremely evil deities of the Cthulhu Mythos). It has a single red eye.
  • Champions
    • In the supplement Enemies II the supervillain The Monster has glowing red eyes.
    • In the adventure Deathstroke, the supervillain Doctor Death wears an armor suit with a deep red light coming from his eye sockets.
  • Mayfair's Chill. Evil game monsters that have red eyes: Barghest, Ghoul, Hook Thaggis, Spectral Hound, Werewolf (wolf form).
  • Chivalry And Sorcery: In the 3rd Edition adventure Stormwatch, kobolds living in a copper mine have been kidnapping, killing and eating human miners and other villagers. They have ruby red demon eyes, red as sparks and hellfire.
  • GDW's Dark Conspiracy supplement Dark Races Volume I.
  • Dangerous Journeys: In the adventure "It's Never a Good Day to Die", the evil necromancer Horace Quintell has eyes that burn with an intense redness.
  • DC Heroes: In the adventure When a Stranger Calls, when Batman is revealed as being possessed by demons his eyes will glow and flash a wild red while he's fighting.
  • Dungeons & Dragons
    • Most versions of drow or dark elves have red eyes. They are Always Chaotic Evil and the exceptions inevitably have other eye colors such as violet or yellow. They all have red eyes in deep darkness, however. It's part of their darkvision.

      • #1 adventure "The Dark Tower of Cabilar": A wraith (Lawful Evil undead monster) the PCs encounter has red Glowing Eyes.
      • #12 adventure "Intrigue in the Depths". The adventure's new monster, the saltwater aboleth, is Lawful Evil and has red eyes.
      • #13 adventure "The Ruins of Nol-Daer": The Chaotic Evil major cambion MacDaer has red Glowing Eyes.
      • #14 adventure "A Question Of Balance": A "demon" summoned during a magical lightning storm has red eyes, and is Chaotic Evil and extremely powerful.
      • #18 adventure "Tallow's Deep": The AD&D 2nd Edition Monstrous Manual says that worgs are large, Neutral Evil wolves, but doesn't mention their eye color. This adventure says they have crimson eyes.
      • #23 adventure "The Pyramid of Jenkel": The Chaotic Evil 2nd Edition monster called the abhir (AKA the 1st Edition Type V demon) has fiery red eyes.
      • #25 adventure "The Standing Stones of Sundown": A Neutral Evil ju-ju zombie has red Glowing Eyes.
      • #25 adventure "Of Kings Unknown": The Lawful Evil moonorc Retch has red Glowing Eyes.
      • #26 adventure "The Inheritance": The carnivorous ape (similar to a gorilla) named Redeye has red eyes and is extremely powerful. He has 5 times the Hit Points of a normal human being and can easily kill a regular human being in one round of combat.
      • #28 adventure "Sleepless": The Abyssal demon lord Siragle is Chaotic Evil and has solid blood red eyes.
      • #31 adventure "Bane of the Shadowborn": The earth weird is a Chaotic Evil monster with burning red eyes, and when the Chaotic Evil sword Ebonbane manifests its spirit as a face, it has burning red eyes.
      • #32 adventure "Side Trek": The Chaotic Evil albino red dragon named Whitefire has blood red eyes that burn like a fire.
      • #43 adventure "The Price of Revenge": A Lawful Evil wraith (undead monster) named Hess has malevolent, red Glowing Eyes.
      • #45 adventure "Prism Keep": A Chaotic Evil dretch (weak demon) the PCs encounter has red Glowing Eyes.
      • #58 adventure "Caveat Emptor". A Chaotic Evil greater seawolf is described as having large red eyes.
      • #59 adventure "Seeking Bloodsilver". A Chaotic Evil undead monster called a skelter has red Glowing Eyes.
      • #60 adventure "Nemesis". Shaktari is the Chaotic Evil marilith (Type V) demon ruler of the 531st level of the Abyss. She has flaming red eyes.
      • #61 adventure "To Save A Forest". The Lawful Evil orcs who attack the Player Characters have red Glowing Eyes.
      • #63. In the adventure "Blood and Fire", the Sleepwalkers (extremely dangerous golems) that guard the stronghold of the Brotherhood of the True Flame have red Glowing Eyes. In the adventure "Beauty Corrupt", the Chaotic Evil green hags and sea hag has bulging bright fiery blood red eyes.
      • #64 adventure "Bzallin's Blacksphere". Mezzoloths are creatures from Hades who are of Neutral Evil alignment and have red Glowing Eyes. A Neutral Evil hordling has three red Glowing Eyes. In the adventure "Last Dance", some Neutral Evil giant rats have beady red eyes.
      • #72 adventure "Mistress on the Mere". When the head of the Lawful Evil penanggalan Mistress Adele is detached, her eyes shine a fiery red.
      • Two in #73. (a) Adventure "Quoitine Quest". The AD&D 2nd Edition Monstrous Manual says that worgs are large, Neutral Evil wolves, but doesn't mention their eye color. This adventure says they have red eyes. (b) Adventure "Eye of Myrkul". The knight denizen is Lawful Evil and has red Glowing Eyes, and the ghost form of the dragolich is Lawful Evil and has "flaring red" eyes.
      • #79 adventure "The Akriloth". A Chaotic Evil vampiric ixitxachitl named Xulkur has red Glowing Eyes.
      • #80 adventure "The Scar". The Chaotic Evil death knight Mohab has red Glowing Eyes.
    • Dungeon magazine #31 Ravenloft adventure "Bane of the Shadowborn''
      • When the PCs try to enter Shadowborn Manor, an illusion created by the Chaotic Evil darklord Ebonbane will appear on the door. The illusion is of a deathmask with eyes that are burning pinpoints of cold red light.
      • One of the monsters in the manor is a Chaotic Evil earth weird, which takes the form of snake-like column of earth with burning red eyes.
    • White Dwarf magazine:
      • Issue #24 adventure "The Lair of Maldred the Mighty": The morghiss is a Neutral Evil monster with two small red eyes.
      • Issue #44 "Fiend Factory". Blacklings are Neutral Evil beings who live underground and have red eyes.
      • Issue #47 article "The Fiend Factory": The krowk is a Chaotic Evil crow-like demon that has blood-red eyes.
      • Issue #60 article "The Fiend Factory": The helghost is the undead form of a Lawful Evil magic user. They appear as a skeleton cloaked in black robes with red Glowing Eyes.
    • 3rd Edition evil monsters with red eyes:
      • Monster Manual: Nalfeshnee (Type IV) demon, drow, gorgon, hell hound, salt mephit, skeleton, wraith, half fiend, lich, lycanthrope in animal form.
      • Creature Collection: Ratmen/Slitheren (all types have red, beady eyes)

      • Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition supplement Kara-tur boxed set. In the nation of Wa, the island of Machukara has intelligent, savage orange gorillas with blazing red eyes who have been trained to act as evil pirates.
      • OA5 Mad Monkey vs. Dragon Claw. The Chaotic Evil vampiric ningyo (mermaids), two evil Dragon Claw warriors the PCs kill, and the giant evil Dragon Claw statue (after it's animated) all have red eyes.
      • OA6 Ronin Challenge. The powerful Lawful Evil Earth Spider and its minions (goblin spiders, giant spiders, and bakemono) all have red eyes.
      • OA7 Test of the Samurai. Bokika Hokio, the Lawful Evil 16th level samurai daimyo of Fochu province, has fiery red eyes and an explosive temper. The krakentua monster is Chaotic Evil, 80-100 feet tall, looks a lot like Cthulhu and has red eyes.
    • Module X2 Castle Amber. In the Indoor Forest, the Chaotic (Chaotic Evil) master of the Wild Hunt (Andrew David Amber) has glowing red eyes.
    • Basic D&D
      • Module O2 Blade of Vengeance. Gorkalk, the great grandfather of the Chaotic Evil red dragon Khordarg, has red eyes.
      • Module B8 Journey to the Rock. The dangerous ghostly horsemen of the ruined city of Tuma have eyes that are dull red, like a dying fire.
    • 1st Edition module I12 Egg of the Phoenix. The Lawful Evil wererats in the "Crypt of Empyrea" adventure have red eyes. This was not stated in the 1st Edition Monster Manual entry on wererats.
    • Ravenloft module RA1 Feast of Goblyns
      • When the PCs encounter a barrier made of skeletons, each skeleton has eyes that burn with a cold, red light.
      • A giant skeleton has pinpoints of red light in its eyes.
      • After Radaga's body is possessed by Daglan, she has cold, red light burning in her eyes.
      • Goblyns has glowing red eyes.
      • Greater wolfweres. In all forms except human, their eyes glow red in the dark.
    • Ravenloft module Death Ascendant. After the creature known as Death is created, it has red Glowing Eyes.
    • Ravenloft 2nd Edition Realm of Terror boxed set. When a PC performs extremely evil acts they have to make a Powers Check or suffer a punishment. One possible punishment is having the character's eyes turn red.
    • Ravenloft campaign expansion Masque of the Red Death, adventure "Red Tide". The Chaotic Evil vampire Dracula has eyes that glow a feral red when he's feeding.
    • Ravenloft RQ3 From the Shadows
      • The PCs are sent back in time to when Strahd von Zarovich was changed into a vampire. After the conversion the Chaotic Evil Strahd is stated to have glowing red eyes, a dead giveaway to the fact that he's now a supernatural creature.
      • Azalin's phylactery takes the form of a huge 200 pound gold-plated dragon skull. Its eyes are rubies and an ever-burning flame is in its mouth, giving the eyes a dull red glow similar to that of the Lawful Evil lich it is magically linked to.
    • Dark Sun boxed set DSE1 Dragon's Crown.
      • Booklet "Out of the Valley". The PCs' nemesis Avegro appears in dream form with eyes "like pits of crimson flame", and later on, the PCs encounter a ghost with glowing red eyes.
      • Booklet "The Road of Fire". A wraith (undead monster) the PCs meet has glowing red eyes.
    • Dark Sun Monstrous Compendium Appendix: Terrors of the Desert.
      • The dwarven banshee. The pupils of this dangerous undead creature's eyes flicker red as if a flame burns them from within.
      • Greater Fire Elemental. It can do up to 40 Hit Points of damage per combat round, and its eyes glow an intense bright red.
      • The Chaotic Evil Nightmare Beast, one of the most feared monsters on Athas. They have large red eyes that glow in the dark.
      • The Sand Bride is a Chaotic Evil monster that drains Life Energy and has glowing red eyes.
      • The Chaotic Evil So-ut (Rampager) has glowing red eyes.
      • The Neutral Evil T'Chowb has beady red eyes. It can permanently drain a creature's intelligence by touch.
    • Dark Sun Monstrous Compendium Appendix: Terrors Beyond Tyr.
      • The boneclaw baazrag has red eyes that glow in the dark.
      • The Dune Reaper has eerie, luminescent red eyes.
      • The Magma Paraelemental Beast has fiery red eyes.
      • The Obsidian Retriever has six red eyes.

      • Issue #25 article "Varieties of Vampires". The Chaotic Evil Ch'ing-Shih vampire from China has red, staring eyes.
      • Issue #51 story "A Part of the Game''. A monster that used its Your Heart's Desire ability to lure 12 men to their deaths has "two red eyes burning like coals in a brazier in the Hall of Pain."
      • Issue #63 article "...but not least: The humanoids". The kobold deity Dakarnok is Lawful Evil and has tiny red eyes.
      • Issue #93 article "Nine Hells Revisited". The powerful Lawful Evil greater devil Malarea has fiery red eyes.
      • Issue #142 "Ecology of the Kech". The Neutral Evil keches have blood-red, pupil-less eyes. They are extremely evil and rapacious, considering all other creatures (including humans) to be food. They love to set up traps to catch victims.

    • 2nd Edition Al-Qadim setting
      • Supplement Arabian Adventures. The spell Unleash Monolith can summon a sea monolith monster that has 30 hit dice, inflicts 10-60 Hit Points of damage and has hellish red eyes.
      • Boxed set A Dozen and One Adventures. The black idol in Al-Anwhar has two ruby eyes that glint malevolently. If the PCs touch the eyes, they can be Mind Controlled into sacrificing themselves to the idol.
    • The Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Coloring Album mentioned a Neutral Evil lich with "eye sockets gleaming fiery red".
    • World of Greyhawk Fantasy Game Setting boxed set (1983) "Glossography" booklet, adventure "The Lost Passage of the Suloise". The title passage is guarded by a huge monster with glowing red eyes (which are actually gems) left by the Lawful Evil Suloise. If it catches a victim it will crush them flat.
    • Mayfair Games' AD&D compatible Role Aids supplements
      • Dark Folk. The Chaotic Evil gnoll deity Xyrmgnollven has blood red eyes and the Lawful Evil goblins have glowing red eyes.
      • Adventure Dragons of Weng T'sen. The Chaotic Evil Ice Wolf monster has red eyes.
      • Undead. The undead Offspring of Nightbay are Lawful Evil alignment and have red Glowing Eyes when they attack their victims.
    • Judges Guild's D&D compatible supplements
      • The Book of Treasure Maps, "Scenario 3: The Lone Tower". The incarnation of the Neutral Evil wolf god Thunderwind is a huge white wolf with red Glowing Eyes.
      • Operation Ogre adventure. Ice Ogres are Neutral Evil alignment and have red eyes.
      • Tegel Manor (1989). In one room are large silver spiders with ruby red eyes. They have a bite that causes paralysis and are powerful enough to easily kill a normal human.
      • City of the World Emperor booklet ''Shop Guidebook". The Red Star sisters (Fiiya and Giiji) are Lawful Evil astrologers. When they give a client a reading, they have red Glowing Eyes.
      • The Unknown Gods. The deity Lord Skortch has red Glowing Eyes and is of Chaotic Evil alignment. The deity Mabont has a large red eye in his chest and is Neutral Evil alignment. The deity Ihlwynd has red Glowing Eyes and is of Neutral Evil alignment.
    • In the Deities & Demigods Cyclopedia, in the Cthulhu Mythos section the Lawful Evil Primordial Ones had five red-irised eyes.
    • Dragonlance campaign setting. Morgion is the Neutral Evil deity of disease and decay. One of his avatar forms is that of a cloud with evil red eyes.
  • GURPS:
    • Fantasy Folk. Minotaurs have the disadvantages Berserk, Bloodlust, Intolerance, and Savage. They're aggressively antisocial and eat other sentient creatures. They also have red eyes.
    • Conan: Moon of Blood. The swamp devils have eyes as red as coals of living fire, and the chaken (ape men) have flaming red eyes.
    • GURPS Conan and the Queen of the Black Coast. The Hell Hyenas are huge hyenas with red Glowing Eyes. They have a strong bloodlust, attacking that lives and trying to kill it without pity.
    • GURPS newsletter Roleplayer #10 (May 1988), adventure "The Isle of Night". The extremely evil Eldritch Abomination T'Soquat and its minions have red Glowing Eyes.
    • GURPS Supers adventure School of Hard Knocks. The supervillain Denier is nasty, chauvinistic, selfish and abusive. He also has blood-red eyes in his human form.
    • GURPS Monsters
      • The Mothman has attacked and tried to kill human beings and killed many dogs. It has red Glowing Eyes.
      • Spring-Heeled Jack is a callous bully who likes to terrify people, attacks women and has killed at least one person. He has fiery red Glowing Eyes.
  • Judges Guild
    • Adventure Demons of Dundurn. One of the demons the Player Characters can encounter is Villain the Burrower. He is Chaotic Evil in alignment and has deep-set red eyes.
    • The Dungeoneer magazine
      • Issue #10, article "Monster Matrix". The Loombar is a Lawful Evil devil shaped like a 7 foot tall gorilla. It has scarlet eyes and ruthlessly attacks any other creature it sees in an attempt to kill it.
      • Issue #23, short story "Rattling Bones". The evil necromancer Morbias has the face of a warthog, cloven hooved feet and little red pig's eyes that glare pure malice at his victims.
  • Knights of the Dinner Table #168 "Bait & Tackle" section (adventure seeds). In "Puppetmasters", the inhabitants of a small village develop red eyes when they're possessed by evil demons.
  • Lejendary Adventures:
    • The hobgoblins known as Nis carry out raids: looting, pillaging and taking slaves. They have slanted red eyes.
    • Ulfs are the most vile type of Alfar, even more terrible than ogres. They like to cause misery, suffering, disaster and lingering death. They have glittering red eyes.
  • Magic: The Gathering has Ink-Eyes, a rat ninja with Black Eyes of Evil that look like they're on fire; this is the result of her deal with Kuro to make her more powerful. Kuro also has three red eyes.
  • Paranoia adventure Send in the Clones. The vicious killer rats in the Sewerworld adventure have beady red eyes.
  • RuneQuest
    • White Dwarf #45, article "Dealing With Demons". Demon wolves are large wolves with red eyes. They can inflict a curse that can strike the victim dumb or blind, paralyze their arms or wither their legs, or cause them to be disfigured or turned into a rat.     • Paranormal Animals of North America:
      • The Firedrake and Icedrake (both dangerous carnivores) have red, malevolent-looking eyes.
      • The Gyre (Awakened form of the common turkey vulture) has red eyes. It will attack weak or wounded animals, including humans.
      • The Hell Hound has red-rimmed eyes, and the Awakenings sourcebook clarifies that their eyes are fiery red.
      • The Novopossum has red eyes and acidic saliva. It can fight ferociously when it needs to.
      • The Siren (looks like a small pterodactyl) has red eyes. It is a ferocious predator that attacks and kills humans.
      • The Snow Snake has red eyes that glow in the dark and a poison bite that can kill a human being in seconds.
    • Paranormal Animals of Europe:
      • The Kludde is a shapeshifter that uses its powers to weaken and terrify its prey (including humans) before killing them. It has red corneas in all of its forms.
      • The spirit horses ridden by members of the Wild Hunt have red eyes. They can breathe fire and expel a noxious breath that can render an opponent unconscious.
    • Sprawl Sites: An apparent vampire who attacks the PCs with spells has red eyes.

      • When the (evil and insane) toxic Rat shaman Jesse Johns uses magic, his eyes take on a red tinge.
      • The decker Ram's icon in the Matrix is a huge, black-furred humanoid with glaring red eyes.
    • Critters: The chupacabras has large red eyes. It feeds on blood and Essence, attacking metahumans in remote areas with its paralyzing touch.
    • Denver: The City of Shadows boxed set: The decker named Bash has a Matrix icon with gleaming red eyes. He exists in a permanent state of barely suppressed rage.

    • The Big Bad Markos Keras has dark red eyes, unusual for an Orion. His servants think they give him supernatural powers. He has a fierce temper, is rash and impetuous, and is likely to try to have the PCs killed.
    • Alien animals called Slethi have teeth that inject a venom that causes intense, immobilizing pain and ultimately leads to death. They also have bright red eyes.
  • Star Wars d6: In the Polyhedron magazine #104 article "Dangers from the Dark Side", the Force Vampire is an extremely evil creation of the Dark Side that has crimson Glowing Eyes.
  • Stormbringer Companion supplement by Chaosium:
    • The Golden Icehound has eyes of red demon-fire.
    • Adventure "Hall of Risk". The demon lord Baaleer has burning-red eyes.
    • Adventure "The Crystal of Daerdaerdarth''. The demon guardian Trunchuss has red eyes.
  • TimeLords adventure Supertanker of Death. The genetically engineered man-eating walrus Fang has red eyes.
  • Tunnels & Trolls
    • Solo Dungeon #4 Naked Doom. In one room the PC will be attacked without warning by a rock troll in a fight to the death. Rock trolls have piggish little red eyes.
    • Pegasus magazine issue #7, solitaire adventure "The Old Dwarf Mine". If the Player Characters pull a stake out of a skeleton, the skeleton will become a evil vampire with red eyes that are like fiery coals.
  • Mayfair Games' generic supplement Undead. The Lawful Evil Offspring of Nightbay appear to be children but are actually undead. When they attack their eyes glow red.
  • Villains & Vigilantes adventure Devil's Domain:
    • On Easter Island a villain has 4 statues with eyes that "smolder evilly red''.
    • The powerful and evil Daven and Abomination demons have red eyes.
  • The entire ork race in Warhammer 40,000 has evil red eyes. The warning part however usually comes from a mountain of weapon wielding green muscle charging you. Besides, the eyes are quite sunken and difficult to see unless you're up close and suicidal.
    • Or unless it's dark. The 3rd edition Ork Codex featured cover art of a greenskin mob charging a trench during a thunderstorm. The Orks in the foreground were well-lit, while all the ones beyond were just hulking shadows with tiny glimmers of red glaring out at you.
  • Witch Hunter: The Invisible World.
    • The monstrous black hounds that roam the English countryside and attack travelers have glowing red eyes.
    • The vampires known as Apotamkin have blood red eyes.
  • It Came from the Late, Late Show II adventure "Bjorn on the Bayou, or Escape from Alkatrazz XII". Alkatrazz XII is a prison planet. Warden Skrank is a corrupt, sadistic, cyborg with a blinking red robotic right eye.
  • Hack Master: In the 4th Edition Player's Handbook's description of the almost Always Chaotic Evil drow it says that their eyes glow a feral red — evidence of the hatred that burns in their hearts and minds.
  • Varanae generic RPG supplement Monstrum 1
    • Eurytion are a race of giants with fiery red eyes that glow in the dark. They have nasty tempers and attack other creatures on sight using a flame Breath Weapon that does an amount of damage equal to the Eurytion's Hit Points.
    • Garmen are the souls of dead dogs with glowing red eyes. They dig up and feed on dead bodies in graveyards and attack and kill all living things they encounter. Their bite can paralyze, cause disease in or kill the victim.
  • Infinity: Played with with the Helots, a species of alien fishfolk. Their eyes change color depending on their mood and are red when calm. However, they become bright blue when agitated.
