Yugi plays Magical Hats in a combo with Dark Magician to protect it from Pegasus' attack, but Pegasus uses his Millennium Eye to read Yugi's mind to find out where Dark Magician is hidden. As Yugi wonders if there is any way to beat Pegasus, he hears a voice inside him. It is the real Yugi who's calling and the other Yugi travels to his soul room, where the two Yugis meet for the first time. Yugi explains that he wants to help the other Yugi defeat Pegasus, and we return to the real world, where Pegasus orders his Toon Summoned Skull to destroy Dark Magician. When the smoke clears, Pegasus sees that the hat he destroyed was empty and that the real Yugi is in control. Yugi plays a card face down and ends his turn. Pegasus tries to use his Millennium Eye to find out which card Yugi played, but the other Yugi takes over and, as he doesn't know what card Yugi played, Pegasus can't read his mind to find out. Pegasus orders Toon Summoned Skull to destroy another of Yugi's hats, but the hat is empty. When Yugi's turn starts, the real Yugi takes over again. He draws Living Arrow, which allows him to use a spell card that he would normally only be able to use against himself against Pegasus. He puts it face down and ends his turn, changing to the other Yugi. Pegasus draws and plays Magic Neutralizing Force, which removes all magical effects on Yugi's side of the field, revealing Dark Magician. Pegasus attacks with Toon Summoned Skull, but the real Yugi takes over and plays his Living Arrow, aiming it at Pegasus' Toon World. He also plays Mirror Force, redirecting Toon Summoned Skull's attack towards Toon World, destroying it and reducing Pegasus' Life Points to 800 (Yugi: 900).
