Roget speeds up the semi-finals of the Friendship Cup, and Yuya faces Crow. Roget thinks he needs Yuya to deliver a stunning duel, to distract the city from what will happen when Sergey attacks the Executive Council. To ensure Yuya gives him such a duel, Roget has implanted a control chip in Yuya's helmet. In the stadium, Crow apologizes for thinking the Lancers could work for Tops, and has realized the truth by dueling Kurosaki. Yuya also tells Crow about Roget's coup against the Council, and Crow agrees to help Yuya save them. As the duel begins, Yugo is still searching for Yuri in the city, while Tsukikage and Reira get Serena to safety. Sora hears of the duel and runs to the stadium, grabbing onto the wheel of Melissa Clair's helicopter to watch the duel.
The duel is lighthearted, with Crow going along with Yuya's Entertainment Duel as their monsters dance together. Crow reveals that the duel track takes them by the Capital Building, and their dance was a distraction to buy time until they arrived, and Yuya could leap off his D-Wheel to go help the Council. At this time, Roget activates his control chip, shocking Yuya to drive him to aggression. The shocks awaken Yuya's Berserk Mode; around the city, Yuri and Yugo also awaken, and Serena and Yuzu's bracelets begin to pulse with light. The enraged Yuya begins to duel seriously, and sets "Xiangsheng Magician" and "Xiangke Magician" in his Pendulum Zones, letting him summon "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" against Crow. He attacks, Yuri and Yugo giving his commands in time with Yuya, and the blast takes Crow down to 2400 Life Points in a single blow.
Crow wonders if Yuya's earlier plan was a trick, and summons "Assault Blackwing - Raikiri the Rain Shower" and uses it to destroy Yuya's field, attacking for 2600 direct damage. Yuya begins his turn, and watching the duel, Sora briefly sees him as Yuto, as the voices of Yuya's counterparts speak in unison through him. Yuya retrieves his two Magicians and re-activates them, summoning back Odd-Eyes, along with "Entermate Longphone Bull," and uses the effect of the latter to search out and summon "Entermate Amenboat." Yuya overlays his two Entermates to summon "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon."

- Evil Sounds Deep: Yuya's voice whenever he is in Berserk Mode is noticeably deeper.
- Failed a Spot Check: Even if one presumes the dark aura around Yuya is just cool animation and isn't actually there, there's still the glowing eyes, growling, deeper voice, and all the screaming Yuya was doing that should have tipped Crow off that something was wrong.
- Finishing Each Other's Sentences: Due to their synchronized Berserk Modes, the four Yus engage in this heavily during the episode's second half.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus:
- When Yuya first turns Berserk, there is a shot of a city being destroyed. The city does not resemble any city so far seen in the series.
- There is a shot of Yuya holding his duel disk before the duel, explaining his plan to escape
- Mood Whiplash: For the first few turns, Yuya and Crow ham it up then Roget turns on the chip .....
- Nightmare Face: A lot of Roget and Berserk Yuya's faces for this episode are this.
- Obfuscating Stupidity: Both Yuya and Crow for their first turns acted like idiots to complete their plan.
- Shoo Out the Clowns: Berserk Yuya's first action was destroy the Hippo Cards that he had summoned earlier.
- Speak in Unison: The four Yus switch off between this and finishing each others' sentences in the second half of the episode
- Superpowered Evil Side: Yuya's came roaring back with the added bonus of Yugo, Yuto and Yuri's too.
- Synchronization: Exaggerated, where Yuya, Yuto, Yugo and Yuri all synched up.
- Unspoken Plan Guarantee: Yuya and Crow's plan to save Reiji and Reira was doomed to fail when they mentally recounted what they were going to do.
- Unstoppable Rage: Berserk Yuya was incredibly pissed this episode.
- Wham Episode: Due to a chip in Yuya's helmet, he, Yugo, Yuri and Yuto will go berserk.
- Wham Shot:
- When Yuya enters Berserk Mode, we see a City being razed when a red eye opens.
- We have a shot of Serena's bracelet, which to this point has done nothing, blinking.
- Yuri and Yugo, synchronized with Yuya, call out his Pendulum Summon call as he performs the move. Later, Yuto comes into the mix too.
- Would Hurt a Child: Roget once again proves this by putting an electrical chip to shock Yuya into entering Berserk Mode.
