Recap / Yu Gi Oh Arc V Ep 74 Mask Of The Clown

Go To

The last match for the first round of the Friendship Cup is between Kurosaki and Dennis, both Lancers. Yuya questions why Lancers are facing each other in the first round, while the Council and Reiji each state that they have their interests in the duel. In his first turn, Dennis quickly summons Entermage Trapeze Magician and three Entermage Shadow Makers. Kurosaki retaliates by targeting Trapeze Magician with his trap, Raidraptors Target Flag, and then destroys it with Revolution Falcon, forcing Dennis to reveal his hand. Dennis reveals his Polymerization card in his hand, confirming Kurosaki's suspicions — Dennis is an agent of Academia.

His true nature revealed, Dennis's demeanor changes, as do his dueling tactics. He activates Antique Gear Chaos Fusion to Fusion Summon the monstrous Antique Gear Chaos Giant, shocking the Lancers watching and infuriating Kurosaki, who recognizes the monster as the main attack force of Academia when they invaded the Xyz Dimension. The episode ends with Dennis saying that a hunting game has started.
