This is the episode list for the Nelvana animated series Wishfart, a surreal Urban Fantasy-Fantastic Comedy that debuted in 2017 on CITV. It stars a non-traditional teenage leprechaun named Dez, a talking puffin named Puffin, and a Japanese ghost girl named Akiko who get into various escapades in the magical city they live in, usually as the result of backfired wishes granted by Dez.

Episode List

1. Cartwheel! Cartwheel! Cartwheel!: Akiko wishes to become a living girl again so that she may enjoy the sensations of being alive once more. However, Akiko's wish has upset the balance between life and death, and now the King of the Underworld himself is hot on Dez and Puffin's heels.

2. Chopstick Jab: When Puffin wishes to move the couch so he can reach the TV remote, it releases a spirit of leprechaun greed sealed under the sofa by Dez's father. The evil spirit makes Dez and his friends extremely selfish, but the feline mystic Fireball Cat has just the solution to restore the trio.

3. What's Up, P. Buddy?: Puffin has been behaving strangely ever since he wished for his favorite video game character, Major Abs, to become real. As Dez and Akiko discover, Major Abs has hypnotized Puffin and many others in a plot to capture Dez and use his leprechaun wishes to take over the world.

4. Litterfools Ain't Cool: Dez has been granting random wishes in his sleep, so he, Puffin, and Akiko (as well as Dez's mermaid crush Tsuni, who joins a little bit later) use a device from Fireball Cat to travel inside of Dez's mind and see what's making him act the way he's been acting.

5. Aw, Man!: Dez loves granting wishes to benefit the lives of others. However, a yeti named Samuel, who had once wished for ice cream from Dez, shows the young leprechaun that his wishes have had disastrous consequences for the many people who have come to him for wishes.

6. Let's Ditch Dorkus: Puffin wishes for somebody else to play Dez and Akiko's convoluted game of Flip-Flop Dungeon, which ends up summoning the King of the Underworld. The King soon befriends Dez, Puffin, and Akiko, but his bullying behavior proves to be a bad influence on the trio.

7. Does This Please the Jigmaster?: Dez's complaints about leprechaun stereotypes get him arrested by leprechaun enforcers, Malachy and Finnuala, who take him to their Leprechaun Reprogramming Facility to relearn what it means to be a traditional leprechaun.

8. Baby...Seal...Thingy: An infant selkie imprints on Akiko, who wishes it was big enough to take care of itself instead. The now adult-sized but still baby-brained selkie then ends up becoming mayor of the city through a series of coincidences, and his first mayoral duty is dining with the ferocious Turtle Monster!

9. Spicy is Paradisey: Puffin wishes to be able to eat forever at a buffet. 5000 years later, Puffin is now a living mountain being worshiped by a cult that wants to feed him all he can eat. Now, it's up to Dez's descendant, Wise Dez, to convince the cultists to stop feeding Puffin.

10. Goodbye, Short Pants: Akiko wishes that Dez was old enough to drive so that they can get to a concert being performed by their favorite musician, Hairy Smilez the God of Rock. However, the wish causes Dez to age rapidly until he's on the verge of death.

11. Normal Sad: Tired of listening to the depressing rainy-day stories of Dez's Uncle Phil, Puffin wishes for the weather to improve, which causes rainbows to fall from the sky. The rainbows cause people hit by them to become happy to dangerous levels, so Dez has to find a way to put an end to their excessive joy.

12. We're a Ragtag Team: Puffin wishes for him and his friends to pull of the ultimate heist, but it lands the trio in a storage locker with a sack of gold. However, the gold they heisted was that of Dez's parents, so the trio now have to pull a reverse heist and get the gold back in storage before they are caught.

13. Why Don't We All Have Capes?: Akiko wishes for Tsuni to sing karaoke night due to Dez's insistence on having her sing, but Tsuni's horrible singing awakens the Kraken in a very foul mood. As Tsuni faces the Kraken, Dez can't help but feel guilty and tries to help Tsuni against the sea monster.

14. Le Sigh: Everyone knows that Fireball Cat's noodle shop is the best place to go when you're feeling down, but when the lineup one day is too long for Puffin's liking, he wishes for faster service, which turns the shop into a robo-automat and causes Fireball's noodle soup to lose its famous cheering-up power.

15. It's Cake Time, Bro: Puffin and Akiko wish for Dez to be a merman so he can go to King Neptune's party, which Tsuni is also attending. However, Dez finds that he really needs to go to the bathroom, except A) he doesn't know how merpeople use the toilet, and B) Neptune's decrees are absolute for all sea-dwellers.

16. I Wear This Hat Ironically: Tired of having Dez always open jars for them, Puffin and Akiko wish to be strong enough to open any jar. Jealous of the two's new skills, Dez turns to a wicked witch named Dusty, who gives him a cursed jar to challenge Puffin and Akiko with.

17. Hot Spicy Breath: Fed up with the surfeit of undead gingerbread man movies on TV, Akiko wishes nobody cared about them, which creates a zombie apocalypse scenario as the now jobless Gingerdeads turn on everyone in the city and transform them into more "zombiscuits".

18. Million Mo' Wishes: Wizard brat Leslie wishes for one million wishes as a birthday gift from Dez. However, it turns out such a wish is a super-illegal (and super-annoying) offense amongst leprechauns, as Finnuala comes after the wizard boy to arrest him.

19. Clip, Clop, We Won't Stop: Puffin wishes that Dez's childhood brogues could speak, and now the shoes want Dez to fulfill his childhood bucket list. The one thing on the list Dez can't complete though is facing the monster under his bed, as it never actually existed. But the brogues won't let him off that easy.

20. And They Ate the Goldfish: Puffin and Akiko's parents are invited over to meet Dez's parents. The problem is that Akiko's parents seem to be perpetually unimpressed by her haunting skills. So to make them proud, Akiko wishes to be the most terrifying ghost to ever haunt the world.

21. Warmer Pants for the King: After being forced to taste some truly vile greens, Puffin wishes that vegetables didn't exist. When the nutrient-deprived populace begin to attack snowpeople for their noses, Dez tries to set things right, only to be made the snowpeople's king when he chickens out of fessing up to them.

22. Strangely Perfect: An accident causes Dez and Finnuala's wishing rainbows to switch hosts, meaning that Dez's wishes are now flawless, while Finnuala's always backfire. Unfortunately, Akiko's nemesis, the Gum King, runs into Finnuala and begins to use her now-wonky wishes to his advantage.

23. Guess What, Picasso?: Puffin incurs the wrath of Smitty, the Minotaur ice cream artisan, in an argument over mixing flavors. Now, Smitty has trapped Puffin and his friends in his magic labyrinth where Puffin must face three trials of customer satisfaction or be stomp-eaten by the Minotaur.

24. Gross But Noble: Akiko runs afoul of the Gum King once more and tries to fight him as he goes about his duties. In the process, Akiko learns that her archenemy is not quite as evil as she believed. Meanwhile, Dez saves Puffin's life, and Puffin becomes obsessed with repaying him.

25. Team Shazamrock: Dez is invited by Finnuala as a guest speaker to her Little Shamrocks, a Scouts-like group for young leprechauns, so she may show the kids how leprechauns should not act. Unamused by this, Dez establishes his own group called Team Shazamrock to teach the kids the Dez way of being a leprechaun.

26. Christmas Times the Max: Samuel wishes that it was Christmas in July, and Dez gets to meet his wish-granting hero — Santa Claus! However, Santa isn't willing to do his Christmas work in the heat of summer, so he asks for Dez and his friends to organize Christmas (in July) for him.

27. In Your Face, Wishpower!: Tsuni wishes she could go with somebody to see a movie starring her favorite actor. But when Tsuni's movie date ends up being Neptune, a jealous Dez tries to prevent the date from occurring. However, wishing magic is a dangerous thing to fight against.

28. Knit Harder: Tsuni invites Dez and his friends to join Fireball Cat's knitting circle. Determined to impress Tsuni with his knitting skills, Dez decides to try them out on the scarf that Fireball's been working on. However, that scarf is the fabric of reality itself, and his interference has grave consequences.

29. Classic Uncle Phil: Dez learns that Uncle Phil is as miserable and miserly as he is because he was too scared to grant a wish to his crush as a boy. So Dez brings him to reunite with his crush at a surfing contest and it works, restoring Phil to his long-lost joyous generosity. However, Dez soon becomes jealous of the new Uncle Phil.

30. Agita Una Gamba!: Akiko meets a dark, handsome, and mysterious angel named Aurelio who warns her not to answer any party invitations. When she does receive one, Akiko and her friends ignore Aurelio's advice and soon find themselves at an abandoned factory facing a winged ghost hunter.

31. Ciao, Bright Eyes: After getting into an argument with Puffin about whether he is Dez's pet or not, Dez kicks Puffin out of the apartment. While Puffin finds himself adopted by Dusty and Dez decides to liberate everyone else's pets, the two soon begin to reevaluate the nature of their friendship.

32. Customer Service is My Jam: Tsuni leaves Dez in charge of her comic book shop while she runs some errands. Dez assumes that, given Tsuni's laidback attitude, it must be the easiest job in the world. Of course, when you're working in a magical comic book store, the job is anything but easy.

33. Chill, Moms: Fed up with not getting any invitations, Puffin wishes that he was the guest of honor at an important dinner party. The wish instantly transports him to the King of the Underworld's family dinner party, where Puffin is the main course!

34. You've Been Funky Warlocked: Puffin and Akiko wish that G the Gargoyle, security guard of Dez's apartment, could take a break from his job and hang with them for once. But without G's protection, the King of the Underworld gets the deed to the apartment and is going to evict everyone unless the trio can get G back in his lookout post.

35. We Can Eat Sand!: It's Puffin's birthday, and Dez and Akiko take him to the comic book store to get a gift. However, it's busy that day, so Akiko wishes the comic book shop was less crowded, which causes everybody in the world except Dez, Puffin, and Akiko to mysteriously vanish.

36. We are Cheetah Face!: Dez and his friends want to become music stars by performing in the Battle of the Bands, but they're no good at music. Deciding it would take too long to practice their skills, Puffin wishes for a shortcut to fame, which instead turns the trio into roadies for Hairy Smilez.

37. Needs Ketchup: Dez and Puffin are tired of how Akiko beats them at everything, but Akiko wishes they would accept their defeats honorably. This gets her transported to a strange waiting room that Dez and Puffin must free her from by watching three stories provided by Fireball Cat and answering what is out-of-character for Akiko in each.

38. Chopped Salad!: Dusty tricks Akiko and Puffin into stepping onto a cursed chopped salad food truck that always requires at least one person to be inside it. Dez manages to rescue them, but ends up trapped on the food truck in their place. Now the trio need to find somebody willing to stay in the cursed food truck forever.

39. Clown Shoes Never Solved Anything: Dez wishes on himself in a mirror to see if it can bypass a leprechaun's inability to grant wishes for themselves. Instead, it releases doppelgangers of the trio into the world, and now two parallel universes are at risk of disastrously colliding with one another!

40. Happy Green Weirdo Day!: Fed up with having to celebrate Leprechaun Day, Dez sarcastically wishes that he wasn't a leprechaun. His parents inadvertently grant this wish, stripping the family of their wishing powers. But that's not all - now all the magic in the city is gone! Can Dez restore magic without his magic?
