The first Winx Club movie, set between Season 3 and Season 4.
The Winx graduate from Alfea, but Bloom has one thing set in mind: She is determined to solve the mystery behind the disappearance of her birth parents and find them no matter what. The Winx begin an adventure which takes them to places they've never seen before, and Bloom learns the most important thing is staying true to herself.

- Big Damn Reunion: Bloom finally being reunited with her birth parents.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: Riven ends up like this for part of the movie.
- The Cameo:
- Strangely enough, Nabu only shows up near the end of the movie during the celebration of Domino's revival. A few other characters, including both of Stella's parents (making this the first time Queen Luna has appeared in person, until Season 5) cameo during this scene as well.
- The Trix also appear at the end, see Sequel Hook below.
- Dub Name Change: When the movie was redubbed by Nickelodeon, Ron, the cat Bloom befriends, was renamed Purr.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: Bloom destroys Mandragora with Sky's help, saving Domino and liberating her birth parents, which completes her Enchantix, and the whole family is finally reunited.
- Graduate from the Story: The movie begins with the Winx graduating from Alfea.
- In Medias Res: The movie starts with the Winx battling an army of rock soldiers.
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: How Mandragora is defeated. Sky stabs her with Oritel's sword, causing her to release the Ancestral Witches from her; Bloom then zaps her with the Dragon Flame, destroying her and blowing up Obsidian, saving Domino.
- Mood Whiplash: The film ends with a party celebrating the restoration of Domino, Bloom reunites with her birth family, Sky proposes to her, and the Winx become the new Company of Light; but then we're given a Sequel Hook where the Ancestral Witches are revealed to be freed and possess the Trix; after that, cue up that happy end credit music!
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: In the process of restoring Domino to normal, Bloom and Sky end up unknowingly freeing the spirits of the three Ancestral Witches.
- The Reveal: A vision Bloom experiences when forced to see her biggest fear reveals what happened to her birth parents: The Ancestral Witches pulled Oritel into Obsidian as imprisonment, and was eventually petrified; Marion absorbed herself into Oritel's sword so she can be with him, and she was eventually trapped inside during the petrification.
- Sealed Good in a Can: Before Oritel was pulled into Obsidion and Taken for Granite, Marion was absorbed into his sword so that she'd never leave him.
- Series Fauxnale: This movie was originally planned as the finale of the show, given Bloom comes to the end of her mission and saves her birth parents, and the Winx graduate, become guardian fairies, and form the new company of life. However, given the show's extreme popularity, it continued on from there, and The Stinger suggested a new mission for the Winx as well.
- Sequel Hook: The Ancestral Witches are in a scene at the end shown planning something, and have teamed up with their descendants, the Trix. This will be solved in the second movie.
- Taken for Granite: Oritel's fate upon being pulled into Obsidian.
- Wham Episode: Domino is restored to its original form, Bloom is reunited with her birth parents, and her Enchantix powers are finally complete.
