The Baby Bears fight with some scrappy urchins over a pizza, and settle it with a game of basketball. The Bears' teamwork is more than a little lacking, however.

- Defeat Means Friendship: After winning the game, the Bears decide to share their pizza with the Ragtags and befriend them.
- Down to the Last Play: The game is settled on the last point after it ends up tied 10-10.
- Graceful Loser: The Ragtags take their loss in stride and reward the Bears with the pizza, claiming they never break a promise.
- Helpful Hallucination: When the Bears start arguing about their basketball strategy, they imagine the image of Charles Barkley from a lenticular trading card comes to life and offers them some advice on the importance of teamwork.
- Mundane Made Awesome: Being able to touch the net is a point of pride to the Ragtags.
- Origin Story: This episode shows the first time the Bears formed the Bear Stack.
- Special Guest: Charles Barkley appears As Himself (or at least an imaginary advisory version of himself). Sister network TNT was airing the NBA All-Star Game the weekend of the episode's premiere, and Barkley is an analyst for TNT's NBA coverage.
- Street Urchin: The Ragtags are a whole gang of plucky street urchins, armed with attitude and dart guns.
