Allura is able to excise Honerva's connection to Tavo, one of the Altean pilots, in the form of a Quintessence entity, but she is still enthralled by it even after Sam manages to contain it.
The Atlas is strongarmed into joining the Swathian's Clear Day celebration while on the lookout for Robeast activity. The paladins and crew go to enjoy themselves. Keith and Hunk get stuck on a ride, Lance tries to win Allura a prize, Shiro wins an arm-wrestling competition, Coran wins a yalmor-calling contest, and Pidge asks for more tokens from her parents.
Meanwhile, Lotor seemingly visits Allura and says that they have the same goal. He informs her that she can use Honerva's thrall to defeat her. Allura dreams herself in one of Honerva's mechs fighting the Galra on the day Altea was destroyed. Allura envisions Lance, Lotor, and her mother convincing her to release the entity, and she eventually does so.
