The cast are put though a war movie challenge. Justin’s technique for manipulation begins to wane, while both sides begin to have leadership issues.

Tropes:

  • Aborted Arc: The first episode where Justin starts to slip in his role as big bad. While he did start the episode off by asking Lindsay and Beth to break his fall for him while they were on the plane, Lindsay and Beth still never care about his welfare in the slightest during the challenge. He manages to manipulate them into voting off Izzy though.
  • Balloon Belly: Leshawna's stomach bloats up with gas to the point of resembling a pregnancy after drinking a couple of Chef's bran smoothies. Leshawna goes as far as calling it her "air baby" and noting that it wants to be born, which her teammates, with whom she's hiding in a hole, unsuccessfully try to prevent from happening.
  • Big "WHY?!": Duncan and Harold cry "Why?" dramatically when the Trunk of Mind Blowing Secrets is revealed to be empty.
  • Caught in a Snare: Duncan splits from the Screaming Gaffers' digging to set traps for the Killer Grips instead. One is a semi-hidden net that snatches up the opposing team as they come running to attack the Gaffers for the trunk in their care. Duncan swoops in and cuts the rope holding the tree the net is connected to down, which sends the Grips flying back to their side of the stage.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Justin votes Izzy off because she said she never found him attractive.
  • Gasshole: Leshawna has serious gas from drinking bran smoothies, which makes things difficult, since it gives the Gaffers' hiding place away to the Grips (plus it stinks).
  • General Failure: Admiral Lindsay Her Hotness, who appropriates the look of a general (but wants to be an "admiral" just because it sounds cuter) but has no real plan for leading her team, leading to their loss.
  • Glad I Thought of It: Beth has to explain to Admiral Lindsay her Hotness how their strategy to optimally cover the stage in paint works. Lindsay is impressed and very happy with this plan she herself came up with. The credit theft leaves Beth unamused, but she lets it slide.
  • Hair Flip: Justin develops a sexy hair flip when he discovers that just being hot no longer grants him control over women.
  • Heh Heh, You Said "X": Harold reacts this way in the confessional when Duncan says he’s going to go make some booby traps.
  • Kung Fool: Harold tries some kung fu tricks with his "Num-Yos," but Duncan's interference leads to an awkward position and a Groin Attack.
  • Lampshade Hanging: With Izzy eliminated, Chris expresses his hope to the audience that she's not coming back later like she already has before (twice).
  • Mad Bomber: Izzy's "Explosivo" persona is obsessed with massive explosions, which doesn't go well for the Grips since "he" just creates a huge explosion without controlling or stylizing it as the challenge required.
  • MacGuffin: Parodied with the Trunk of Mind Blowing Secrets, a hyped-up chest which the Gaffers must protect in the second challenge as the Grips try to steal it away. After the challenge, the chest is ultimately revealed to be empty and thus worthless.
  • Pet the Dog: After Duncan verbally antagonises Harold after he tries playing nice with him, he admits that Harold "might" be good at something, and then gives him all the credit for the Gaffers' success.
  • Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title:
  • Rousing Speech: The Killer Grips have to enact a war scene for a trunk that the Screaming Gaffers are guarding. The Grips aren't feeling it, so Admiral Lindsay her Hotness gives a spirited speech that gets her team, Beleaguered Assistant Beth included, ready to throw fists. Lindsay herself stays seated to wait for the Grips' victorious return.
  • Shout-Out: The Trunk of Mind-Blowing Secrets is based on the Ark of the Covenant from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Chris also states that the contents of the Trunk will "blow a person's brain to bits", which is a reference to the fates of the movie's antagonists at the climax after opening the Ark.
  • Skewed Priorities: During the ceremony, Chris highlights the legitimate reasons Izzy is facing elimination. Justin, however, only voted her off because she said she never found him attractive.
  • Smoke Screen: Leshawna's gas problems, which were a problem for the Gaffers throughout the episode, becomes this when Harold curb stomps the Grips after they charge at them.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: The First challenge is all about making the coolest controlled explosion. Duncan creates an impressive skull pattern, while Izzy (as Explosivo) just blows up the set.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Duncan and Harold, who are forced to protect the chest together.
  • Trap Master: Duncan reveals a talent for setting traps.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Heather disappears completely after leaving the Gaffers' hiding spot once Leshawna starts farting. She's not shown being captured by the Grips after leaving the hideout, nor is she shown with her teammates after they win.
  • You Need a Breath Mint: Duncan gets in Leshawna's face about how she's a liar and that he doesn't mess with liars. Leshawna retorts that he should get to messing with winter mint.
