After Syou Fu Kan storms off, Tan Hi admonishes the group and runs after him. Kichou also follows her. The remaining four comrades decide to pass through the Labyrinth of Darkness using the Soul Echo Flute. Kichou and Tan Hi find Syou Fu Kan spying on some Onyx Demon soldiers, who are trying to catch more demon birds. The three of them ambush the Onyx Demons and use a bone-whistle to call the demon birds and ride them to the Seven Sins Tower. Once they arrive, they find Betsu Ten Gai waiting for them. Tan Hi immediately attacks him, seeking vengeance for her brother and to obtain the hilt of the Tengyouken. However, Kichou sprays Tan Hi with smoke, causing her to attack Syou Fu Kan instead. Chou Mei then knocks out Tan Hi and arrests Syou Fu Kan. They are then thrown into cages, where they are found by the other four. Syu Un Syou then reveals Kichou's other name, the Enigmatic Gale, while Tan Hi reveals that his real name is Lin Setsu A.
