After receiving information that their colleague Yves Adele Harlow (introduced in The Lone Gunmen spin-off) may be one of the super soldiers, the Lone Gunmen investigate and find a conspiracy involving biological weapons based on shark organs.
Tropes:
- Arc Words: Morris Fletcher blurts out "Super Soldiers!" to hook Doggett and Reyes.
- The Bermuda Triangle: Area 51 Man in Black Morris Fletcher claims to be the one who originally coined the term and insists that powerful, primal, other-worldly forces are hidden beneath the waves, waiting to be plucked by man.
- Bittersweet Ending: The Lone Gunmen pull a Heroic Sacrifice by locking themselves in the building with Professor Gillnitz's, saving countless lives. At their funeral, Scully states that they will always remember the helpful favours the three did for her and her friends, as seen in the page's end quote.
- Continuity Nod: Fletcher is shown holding a copy of the TLG's magazine which mentions Captain Toby from the trio's own show.
- A Day in the Limelight: For The Lone Gunmen. Unfortunately, it's the last time this happens for them in the show.
- A Death in the Limelight: It is revealed to be as such for the Lone Gunmen, who perish by the episode's end.
- Face Death with Dignity: Knowing they will die because of exposure to Professor Gillnitz's virus, the Lone Gunmen do not panic. They walk to the metal door's window and give Jimmy and Yves some final pieces of advice, remaining content to lay down their lives for the greater good.Frohike: Buddy, fight the good fight.

Byers: Never give up. - Fully Absorbed Finale: For The Lone Gunmen spin-off.
- Heroic Sacrifice: The Lone Gunmen pull the building's fire alarm, freeing thousands of people but locking themselves in with Professor Gillnitz, whose internally-stored infection will be released in a mere minute. All they can do is say their farewells to Jimmy and Yves.
- Killed Off for Real: The Lone Gunmen, sadly.
- Stuff Blowing Up: Morris Fletcher's borrowed boat has gasoline splashed on it and ignited by terrorists. He quickly jumps off the boat as it goes down in a ball of flame.
- Window Love: At the end, where the Gunmen trap themselves in a room with a biotoxin and say their last words to Jimmy and Yves through the metal door's window. Frohike, Langly, Byers and Jimmy are the ones to do this.
