The president is trying to invite Chairman Farad of the Palestinians and the Israeli Prime Minister to a peace summit at Camp David while the nation is trying to get him to respond with military force instead.
- Armor-Piercing Question: Doubles as an Armor-Piercing Response from Bartlet when practically ordered by Leo to make a military strike.Leo: The Lincoln [Battlegroup] will be in position in a few hours and then you are going to have to give the go-ahead for the bombings.
Bartlet: ...Or what? (Leo doesn't have a response) Let me know when Chairman Farad calls, I'll be in the residence. - Revenge Before Reason: From where Bartlet is standing, the justice that Congress is calling out for, doesn't sound all that different from revenge.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Pretty much everyone, from Speaker Haffley, the Joint Chiefs, to Leo, is disagreeing with Bartlet for not responding with military force for an attack that killed two congressmen, a legal aide, and Admiral Fitzwallace. It's pretty much the only time that Leo is getting furious with Bartlet.
