Jordan Peele: Meet Harry Pine. Up until now, he's failed to realize that he's not the center of the world. But, as you can see, he's also not entirely himself at the moment. Harry's mind is an uninvited guest in an unfamiliar body. He's about to go on a journey of self-discovery, the kind that's only possible here... in the Twilight Zone.

Struggling actor Harry (Ethan Embry) risks everything to catch his big break, but an impulsive scheme takes a few turns no one saw coming.

  • Bank Robbery: This is when Harry realizes he has the ability to switch bodies when he does so with a bank teller by looking into her eyes.
  • Body Surf: Harry does this when he begins to possess one person after another. Each time he possesses someone, the previous person goes back into their own body while the current person inhabits his original body.
  • Book Ends: The episode begins with Harry trying to audition for a role. It ends with him, now in Reese's body, auditioning for a role.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Keith freely admits to being a scam artist, but even he finds Harry's actions despicable.
  • Hero Antagonist: Reese, a policeman who is trying to capture the protagonist, a bank robber.
  • No-Sell: Harry's body-swapping power fails on a woman in an apartment building, so he swaps with her son instead. It's not explained why this is, but it may have to do with the fact that she wears glasses, as she is the only one of his targets who does so. At the end of the episode, as Reese, Harry is now wearing glasses, presumably to prevent himself from possessing anyone else.
  • Spiritual Successor: To the original series' episode "The Four of Us Are Dying".
  • Villain Protagonist: The main character is Harry, a very selfish man who robs a bank and starts stealing people’s bodies.

Jordan Peele: Harry Pine took a dangerous risk. One that cost him his body and his soul. But in a way, he caught the big break he was waiting for. For better or worse, he'll have plenty of time to practice for this performance. If you're looking for Harry Pine, you'll find him starring in the role of a lifetime on a show that will run forever here... in the Twilight Zone.
