The real Good King has been replaced by an impostor, so he can make off with the jewels during the Prince's wedding. Meanwhile, it's Peewit's birthday and no one seems to care (except for the Smurfs, who prepared a present for him). After our heroes save the day by retrieving the jewels and returning them to the castle, the ceremony begins. Peewit is ordered to bring in the King's bust, which ends up breaking.
This episode contains examples of:
- Accidental Misnaming: The impostor (while disguised as the Good King) accidentally gets Peewit's name wrong by addressing him as "Peter".
- Birthday Episode: Subverted, given that Peewit's birthday is merely a subplot and not the main focus.
- Rage Breaking Point: At the end, Dame Barbara finally loses it after Peewit accidentally broke the Good King's bust. She, in a fit of rage, begins to chase the frightened court jester around the castle.
