A comic book adaptation of the cartoon show episode "Once In A Blue Moon", in which the Smurfs first meet Baby Smurf.

- The Cameo: Gargamel has this kind of appearance in the story.
- Child Hater: Grouchy seems to be this at first but it's later averted as he proves that he truly cares about Baby.
- Delivery Stork: What brought Baby Smurf to the village in the first place, what also took him away, and what also brought him right back.
- The Faceless: The stork has wrongly delivered a Baby Smurf to the Smurf village. To whom was Baby originally meant to, then? Other Smurfs? Who are they?
- Is That Cute Kid Yours?: The Smurfs are all wondering whose child that Baby Smurf is, and Brainy has the audacity to suggest that the child could be Smurfette's, to which she rewards by throwing objects at Brainy.
- Who's Your Daddy?: The issue of paternity shows up in the story, despite the fact that the child came by Delivery Stork.
