This review provides examples of:
- Big Damn Heroes: Chester shows up to save Critic from the Strangers by providing him with the necessary clue he needs to beat them.
- Big "WHAT?!": The Strangers do a double take and then shout this when NC says the series is actually average.
- Bile Fascination: Invoked by Agent Schmuck. He wants the Critic to finish his review so that people will want to see the film for themselves.
- Cast as a Mask: While Schmuk is played by Doug Walker throughout the entire parody his true form is played by Trevor Mueller.
- Evil Laugh: Critic finds that the one Agent Smith makes when he takes over the Oracle is so over the top that it could be used for a Hugo Weaving Muppet.
- Rasputinian Death: What NC thinks Trinity's death scene is like.
- The Reveal: Agent Schmuck turns out to be one of the Strangers from Dark City.
- So Okay, It's Average: Critic's ultimate view of the films. While he personally doesn't care for them, he ultimately acknowledges their contributions to film in spite of their faults, admits that each of them actually does have some sort of strength as well, and personally doesn't find them bad either; they're just harmless entertainment. This ultimately ruins the Bile Fascination angle Schmuck is trying to go for.
- Something We Forgot: The other room full of Agent Schmucks.
