Eeyore decides to part ways with his tail, but when the others begin using the tail for their own ends, Tigger, Private Ear returns to solve a mystery.
This episode contains examples of:
- Disney Acid Sequence: The first commercial break concludes with a spoken-word song by Tigger as he imagines chasing after Eeyore's tail in a vivid film noir setting.
- (Friendly) Tickle Torture: When Pooh mistakes Eeyore's tail for a "Bee Tickler", he uses it to tickle some bees to distract them so he can try and take some of their honey. Needless to say, this only annoys the bees and they react accordingly.
- Inconsistent Episode Lengths: This episode runs 16 episodes as opposed to the standard 11 or the double-length 22 minute run-time. As a consequence, the subsequent episode, "Three Little Piglets", is a five-minute short.
- Scooby-Dooby Doors: These are used at one point durng Tigger's Disney Acid Sequence
- Sequel Episode: To "Tigger, Private Ear".
