Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet decide to go camping in the woods. Tigger goes off in search of firewood and lands in a large woodpile. Unknown to Tigger, he has landed in and knocked over a house that belongs to a family of Heffalumps. Papa Heffalump goes after Tigger, but Piglet ends up being trapped in a tree with the Heffalumps' young son. Both the Heffalumps and our friends work together to get the two down and make amends for what has happened.

- Abnormal Allergy: Papa Heffalump is revealed to be allergic to such things as ditches, heights, and marshmallows.
- Camping Episode: Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet go camping in the woods, and when Tigger looks for firewood, he mistakes the Heffalump family's house for firewood.
- "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Pooh apologizes to Mr. Heffalump and says they shouldn't have taken the house in the first place. He says they'll help him rebuild and be more careful next time.
- Dark Is Not Evil: The Heffalump family is actually quite friendly.
- Dream Intro: The episode begins with Piglet having a nightmare where he is chased by Heffalumps and Woozles.
- Failed a Spot Check: Tigger failed to noticed the Heffalumps' mailbox when he took the wood that was a house, which leads to the episode's conflict.
- Fantastic Racism: Piglet toward Heffalumps and Woozles. He gets better by the end of the episode.
- Good Versus Good: A rare case where it's a genuine misunderstanding. Tigger mistakenly takes the firewood that ends up in his lap, and Papa Heffalump works to get his house back. When the situation is cleared up, Pooh apologizes on Tigger's behalf.
- Hero Antagonist: Papa Heffalump is trying to track down Tigger because the latter stole his house by accident. When Pooh helps get his son down from the tree, everyone makes amends.
- Let's Get Dangerous!: Downplayed; Pooh is the one who comes up with a viable plan to get the little Heffalump and Piglet out of the tree. He bluntly tells Tigger and Papa Heffalump that they have to work together and put aside any arguments that they have.
- Mythology Gag: Piglet's dream at the beginning of the episode brings similarities to Pooh's dream from Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day.
- Puff of Logic: It takes Mama Heffalump reminding Papa Heffalump's of his Abnormal Allergies before he ends up sneezing.
- Real After All: Prior to this episode, Heffalumps were only figments of the imaginations of Pooh and his friends. From this episode onward, they begin appearing in person throughout the Disney Pooh works.
- Rule of Three: Papa Heffalump's allergies come up three times, which include ditches, heights, and marshmallows.
- Sneeze of Doom: Papa sneezes extremely hard when his allergies are triggered. In order: he launches himself and Mama out of the ditch, blows himself and Tigger out a tree, and wrecks Piglet's house.
