The show goes meta (sort of) when The Mask gets sucked into a comic book world, where the evil Dark Star Trio mistakes Lieutenant Kellaway for their archenemy Galactic Avenger.

- Ascended Fanboy: Stanley and The Mask are both fans of superheroes which Stanley goes to the comic book conventions and one of the forms that The Mask changes into is a superhero which clearly shows he is very a big fan of Superman along with several others from DC and Marvel.
- Comic Books Are Real: Thanks to The Mask's reality warping powers and abilities he can travel into any comic books that are real but unfortunately he brings the supervillains Dark Star Trio into his world with him.
- Endearingly Dorky: Stanley and The Mask are fans of comic books so they go to the comic book convention where they end up dealing with Kellaway and ended up in one of the comic books where the Dark Star Trio are.

Mask: BREATH MINT! - Voluntary Shapeshifting: The Mask as always changes his appearance which he turns into Centurion, a cowboy and frogman. He turns into different superheroes from the comic books such as three X-Men Professor X, Cyclops and Wolverine, a superhero in a green suit, Spiderman as an actual spider, Silver Surfer but as green, a superhero again but in a red suit and Alpinist.
