The Mask travels in time to Edge City in the 23rd century to find the robot who ripped his yellow pant, but soon becomes involved in a war between a megalomaniacal future mayor known as Government Guy (who sound and looks like Ross Perot and a team of rebels over the Mask.
Tropes:
- A Day in the Limelight: Like the previous episodes this one has The Mask appear entirely with Stanley not appearing in this and it shows The Mask going to the future and join with a resistance group there.
- Berserk Button: The Mask's pants which he loves very much were ripped by a robot which he takes it personal and is why he went to the future in the first place.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Despite the Government Guy having the power of the mask from the 23rd century, The Mask manages to defeat him pretty much easily because compared to the other mask personas who are from the same time period as The Mask, Masked Government Guy has no creativity to think of which gives The Mask an advantage over him and it ends with him taking the mask off Government Guy.
- La Résistance: There is a group of rebels who are fighting against the Government Guy and his forces because they want all the creativity along with fun and games back and The Mask joins them because he is all of those as well so with The Mask's help they manage to defeat the Government Guy, his forces and restore freedom, creativity, fun and games to the whole world.
- No Man Should Have This Power: Though The Mask could have taken the mask from 23rd century back with him or give it to the leader of the resistance he decides to throw it in into the waters knowing that some mask personas are not like him which happened before in his time period so it is understandable why he does it.
- Power Born of Madness: It turns out in the 23rd Century creativity along with everything that is fun and games are banned and, it causes the Government Guy to have no power because of the fact that he lives in a time where there is no creativity to think of while The Mask who is from the 20th Century which is full of creativity along having fun and games has power because of it and, also that The Mask is insane gives him powers and abilities which he uses to defeat the Masked Government Guy easily.
- Time Travel Episode: Like the previous episodes, The Mask travels in time only instead of the past he goes to the future instead which is a dystopian 23rd Century Edge City.
