"Change of Heart"

  • Bring My Brown Pants: While waiting in line for Lori to come out of the bathroom, Lola is creeped out when she hears Lori talking to herself about Clyde, commenting that she doesn't have to pee anymore.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Lori becomes maniacally obsessed with winning Clyde back when she thinks Leni has become his new crush.
  • Clothing Switch:
    • In order to help Clyde get over his fear of talking to Lori, Leni dresses as her.
    • After believing that Clyde has moved on with Leni, Lori dresses as the latter in order to get him to like her again.
  • Death Glare: Lori gives Lincoln one when he says that she should wear red shoes after Clyde bleeds on hers. She gives him another one when he points out that she's wearing the scarf Clyde made for her in hot weather.
  • Facepalm: Lincoln does this when Leni reveals that Lori has bacne.
  • Gamer Chick: Leni plays video games with Lincoln and Clyde. And she must be a good player, or else Lincoln wouldn't have her.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Lori ultimately becomes jealous when she believes that Clyde likes Leni instead of her, and tries to win him back.
  • Heroic BSoD: Clyde already has this with his nosebleeds whenever he sees Lori, but he gets a much bigger case of this at the end of the episode when he sees two Loris (one of them actually being Leni in disguise).
  • Hidden Depths: It's revealed that Leni is remarkably perceptive, has excellent interpersonal skills, and has a surprisingly practical understanding of loofahs.
  • Impairment Shot: Happens at the end of the episode when Clyde sees two Loris after finally coming to. The second Lori is actually Leni, who is still dressed as her.
  • Jerkass Realization: Lori does this when she realizes that she never truly appreciated Clyde for being so kind and thoughtful towards her.
  • Nosebleed: Besides his habit of doing this in front of Lori, Clyde gets a non-reactionary nosebleed after getting hit with Lynn's stray frisbee. Seeing him do this in front of Leni makes Lori believes that Clyde is in love with her.
  • Out-of-Context Eavesdropping:
    • Lori eavesdrops on Clyde's interactions with Leni and believes that he is in love with her.
    • All of Lori's other siblings listen in on Lori talking to herself about Clyde and Leni in the bathroom, believing that she's gone crazy.
  • Running Gag: Clyde spilling his nose blood on Lori's shoes. He also stains Leni's shoe.
  • Skyward Scream: Lori does this three times when Clyde bleeds on her shoes.
  • Talking to Themself: Lori converses with her common sense.
  • Too Much Information: Leni reveals to Clyde that Lori has bacne.

"Health Kicked"

  • Continuity Nod: Lisa is now shown to not only study her siblings' bodily wastes, but also her parents'.
  • Clock Tampering: Part of the kids' plan to get their parents to stop exercising is setting the clocks back to make them think they jogged in less time than they thought.
  • Fitness Nut: Rita and Lynn Sr. temporarily become fitness nuts, making their children exercise to the point that it wears out even Lynn Jr. (herself already a Fitness Nut), make them eat grubs because they think they're healthy, and make them exercise early in the morning.
  • Gone Horribly Right: A double whammy here. When the kids try to get their parents into a health kick, they end up liking it so much, they put the kids though a harsh daily exercise regiment. And then when they trick them into thinking they accomplished their exercise goals to get them out of the health kick, the parents believe they're fit enough to enter the Royal Woods Ultimate Extreme Ninja Competition.
  • Hold Up Your Score: Lynn’s Imagine Spot shows Mr. and Mrs. Loud failing at the ninja competition, getting three 0s from the judges.
  • Hypocritical Humor: The kids try to get their parents in shape through intense exercise, but they hate it when they impose it upon them.
  • Lazy Bum: Mr. and Mrs. Loud at the beginning of the episode.
  • Mud Wrestling: Mrs. Loud is thrown into a mud wrestling match with Lana.
  • Only One Who Likes Spam: When the siblings try onion-infused water, Lana is the only one who doesn't spit it out in disgust.
  • Puff of Logic: While the Louds are hanging onto an overhead beam in the ninja competition, Lisa states that it can't hold the weight of 13 people. The beam immediately breaks off, sending everyone down with it.
  • Running Gag: The Louds running after the ice cream truck.
  • Rockers Smash Guitars: Mr. Loud smashes his at the end of his guitar training with Luna.
  • Series Continuity Error: The entire plot of this episode is kicked off because Mr. and Mrs. Loud don’t exercise enough. However, they were never shown to be lazy bums before. In fact, in "The Loudest Yard" and "Suite and Sour", Mr. and Mrs. Loud are seen exercising. Also, in the former episode, Mr. and Mrs. Loud try to encourage Lincoln to exercise himself.
  • Toilet Humor: Lisa shows to her siblings that their parents' urine "has the health of 80-year olds". Mercifully, they all stop her from showing them her study on their fecal matter...
  • Training from Hell: The kids put their parents through an intense exercise regimen, only to regret it when said parents start making them do it with them.
