"Grim For a Day"

Original Air Date: August 15, 2003

One morning, Grim and Billy are arguing about who had the tougher life. So Mandy told them to switch lives for a day to see who had the tougher life. Then Grim goes to school dressed like Billy and Billy got Grim's to do list and dressed up like Grim including the scythe. Then Billy went to reap the soul of a pet bird named Mr. Voorhees that belonged to an old man. At school Grim was doing what Billy usually did. Billy was still waiting at the address where it said Mr. Voorhees lives because the old man who owned the bird took along time to get there.

When the old man finally got there he thought Billy was trick-or-treating because Billy was dressed up like Grim and gives him candy. Near the end of the episode, Grim starts turning into Billy and vice versa. They both run to Billy's house and when they get there Grim completely turns into a tall Billy and Billy turns in to a short Grim. Then Mandy sees them both and says, "I got to stop drinking steak sauce."

"Chicken Ball Z"

Original Air Date: August 1, 2003

Mandy enters a Martial Arts tournament so she can win the $50,000 cash prize, and consumes the chicken ball to give her supernatural skills. The night of the tournament she defeats all opponents, until Billy shows up, possessing all the skills like Mandy. The two battle it out, destroying the entire building in the process. In the end, Billy and Mandy return to their regular selves and Mandy purchases Bunny Island from Hector Con Carne, taking over his quest to rule the world.

"Chicken Ball Z" contains examples of…

  • Affectionate Parody: Of Dragon Ball Z.
  • Let's You and Him Fight: After it's revealed how Mandy got her tremendous new power, Grim contemplates on how to put a stop to it, and comes up with the idea to give Billy similar abilities, in hopes that the two would destroy one another.
Grim: (thinking to himself) I could probably stop Mandy myself, but… (cue a thought bubble of Mandy and Billy colliding into one another in battle, leading to two gravestones. He smiles) …maybe there's a better way.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: When Mandy becomes more obsessed with the idea of fighting a Worthy Opponent rather then the cash prize after winning the tournament, Grim knows something is up.
Grim: What's got into that girl?
  • Tomato Surprise: It was obvious that something was off about Kuan Ti, but it’s doubtful that any first-time viewer would suspect that he was actually Eris all along.
  • Wham Line: Grim when confronting Mandy’s trainer, Kuan Ti.
Grim: Your student is very talented.
    Kuan Ti: Totally, dude.
Grim: I bet she'd be good at causing all kinds of destruction and chaos.
Kuan Ti: I know. Isn't it cool?
    Grim: (smugly) Hi… Eris.
  • Your Mom: Mandy gives one of these comments to Sperg... except not in the usual way you'd expect. Yet he still takes offense to it.
Mandy: Your mother has a job and is a respected member of the community.
Sperg: Nobody talks about my mother that way!
