  • Rapid Aging: How Negative-Deon kills Cavanagh-Thawne on Lian Yu.
  • The Reveal: Deon hasn't been pulling a Face–Heel Turn — the Deon that Barry encountered during the last few episodes is really the Negative Still Force. And this episode, he is also bringing the Negative Strength Force and the Negative Sage Force with him. They are behind Iris's time sickness, which they used to weaken the real Forces.
  • Some Kind of Force Field:
    • Iris gets prevented from being transported out of the future by a green energy field from the Negative Speed Force.
    • Chester briefly traps the Negative Strength Force in one.
  • Sore Loser: Bart, when Nora beats him in a video game.
  • Super-Empowering: Meena is able to share her powers with her Eobard, turning the latter into a heroic speedster as well.
  • Wham Line: Iris realizing that Thawne was never supposed to be the sacrifice — she was. And then she gets teleported into the way of Barry's lightning.
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Both Barry and Eobard encourage Meena after she is being too hard on herself for not improving fast enough.
