Tropes featured in the episode:

  • All for Nothing: The Noops go to Viltheed to send good dreams, it only affects the Urpneys for a few seconds. To add insult to injury, the next episode demonstrates the heroes already had a much more effective way of neutralising them.
  • Curbstomp Battle: Zordrak is completely humiliated by the Wuts in their battle, managing only a single cheap shot on Pildit at the start of their confrontation.
  • Deadly Dodging: Used by the Wuts against Zordrak.
  • The Dog Bites Back: Annoyed with Blob shouting at him to unblock the hose, an angry Frizz snaps that if Blob thinks he can do better, then he's welcome to try.
  • Felony Misdemeanor: The civilians treat being given nightmares as tantamount to having their town pillaged.
  • Getting Smilies Painted on Your Soul: The result of the Urpneys drinking the Noop's dream bubbles. Unfortunately for the latter, this is very short lived.
  • Hope Spot: The Urpneys crash land their vehicle, where Pildit spots them and quickly figures out their plan. However they manage to fix things back together quicker than he and the Dream Maker anticipated and still send the Argorribles on a mostly successful run.
  • Inflating Body Gag: Albert inflates himself to allow Amberley to join Rufus in stopping the Urpneys' plan.
  • Nobody Calls Me "Chicken"!: Amberley isn't too keen on Rufus' idea, until he suggests she stay behind if she's scared.
  • No-Sell: According to Rufus, being infected with good dreams did absolutely nothing to the Argorribles.
  • Old-Timey Bathing Suit: Rufus and Amberley wear these while playing in the lake.
  • Pride Before a Fall: Downplayed case for Pildit and the Dreammaker, who did attempt precautions against the Urpneys' sneak attack, but after witnessing their bungling, they underestimated how quickly they'd get pull it off, leading to one of the Urpneys' first short term victories over them.
  • Pyrrhic Victory: Both sides take turns infecting the other with their own brand of dreams. Both results last all of a few seconds, ultimately leading to an all out war. The Urpneys take another beating and the Noops barely escape with their lives and are scolded by the Dream Maker for taking such a pointless risk.
  • Shoo Out the Clowns: Blob and his men disappear for most of the heroes' revenge plot.
  • Shut Up, Kirk!: Rufus starts gloating about neutralising Zordrak's forces with good dreams, only for Zordrak to cackle at him and point out the effect of dreams lasts all of a few seconds.
  • Team Rocket Wins: The Urpneys succeed in sending Argorribles widespread across the Land of Dreams and giving nightmares.
  • Touché: Pildit, upon realising the Urpneys' plan, admits to it being cleverer than their usual.
  • A Tragedy of Impulsiveness: An angry Rufus decides to fly into Viltheed alone to give the villains good dreams in revenge, even Lampshaded as not having a clue whether it would actually do anything. Amberley, despite warning him against this, is quickly goaded into joining him. The Wuts are left to rescue them when the plan inevitably goes wrong.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: The Dreammaker calls out the Noops for their recklessness, though commends them afterwards for a brave effort.
  • Yank the Dog's Chain: Frizz and Nug Lampshade they were briefly on Zordrak's good side for once until the heroes came in and crashed the party.
